A:
The New Horizon College of Engineering is a top college, ranked 141 among "Top Engineering Colleges in India" by NIRF in 2021. It offers a four-year B.Tech programme at the UG level. To answer your query, it doesn't provide admission on the basis of the COMEDK rank of the candidate. To be eligible for B.Tech, candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC, Class 12, or equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry Bio-Technology, Biology Electronics, and Computer (40% for the reserved category). The syllabus is prescribed by KEA, keeping the level of candidates in focus, and encompasses chapters and topics in Physics Chemistry mathematics, and Biology from PUC-I and PUC-II (class 11 and 12) as specified by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. Best wishes.

Honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements offered by the college were good. They had a separate department for placements. Faculty members of the department are very dedicated and they work for students' careers. They invited many companies for recruitment from the college. Students who were in their 3rd semester were eligible for campus placements in MBA. Most companies visiting for campus recruitment were Capgemini, E&Y, Cease, Fire Extra Marks, TCS, Refinitive, etc.
Infrastructure: In this college, 3 hostels were there, and according to the course and batches, hostel rooms were allocated to students. Three blocks of boys’ hostels were SVN, SMV, and one more, and 2 hostels for girls were located inside the college campus.
Faculty: The course was good. They updated the syllabus and provided activities for students to improve their skills and understand themselves. The faculty were well-qualified persons, and they knew how to teach the students. There were more than 20 staff members who taught us, and the faculty were more friendly towards us, and their teaching concepts were amazing and easy to learn. Our batch was divided into sections, namely A, B, & C. In each section, 60 students were there, and in each section, 10 faculty were there. Term exams were timely conducted; after 6 months, there would be term exams.
Other: I chose MBA because I want to make my life professional and pave the way for my future career.

Review of NHCE Bangalore - New Horizon College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements are pretty good in this college for the EC branch. The highest package is around 35 LPA, while the average placement is around 6.5 LPA for EC and 12 LPA for CS. Many companies visit the college. You will get many internships from nearby companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for selection and communication is good. We have a lab for electronics from the first year itself, and it is well-maintained with modern equipment. Coming to the hostel security, it also feels like you have to pay more than your college charges for the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain clearly. The faculty curriculum at NHCE is generally well-regarded for its practical, application-based approach that aligns with industry needs and prepares students for careers. Faculty members are often described as qualified, experienced, and helpful, with teaching methods designed to be clear and easy to understand.
Other: I recommend that the development fees are very high, and also other fees are higher than other colleges' development fees, itself is 57000, then what is the use of coming through CET?

Finally, our college is the best for placements. It provides 100% placements.
Placements: The average package is 6 LPA, and the maximum packages range from 15-20 LPA and sometimes, above 20 LPA. On the core side, one of the best company that hire students is Capgemini. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 60%. Companies like SAP, LG, etc., hire students from the college. The top roles offered in our course are chip designer and software developer.
Infrastructure: Everything is available, like a gym, Wi-Fi, library, labs, and classrooms. The maintenance is very high. The food is excellent. Emergency medical facilities are available. The infrastructure and facilities will help thousands of students make an informed college decision.
Faculty: Our college has highly qualified lecturers. They teach excellently. Every year in a semester, they train students for the industry or on how to crack interviews. Semester exams in this college are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I am currently in my 4th year in the ECE branch, and it is very nice in our college. It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore, so I chose it. Every year, it conducts events and fests. The connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and everything are good in our college.

NHCE has a good placement percentage, campus life, and industry exposure.
Placements: I have just completed my first year, so I do not know much about placement opportunities in the college, but what I have learned from seniors is that the number of students who got placed this year was higher than last year. The highest package is 42.5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 4 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zscalar, Visa, Flexcar, Hitachi, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, etc. Nearly 45% of students got internships from my branch in companies like VMware, Société Générale, etc., Top roles offered are full-stack developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 11-12 acres. The infrastructure is great. There are like 3-4 food stops and a Nescafe. Wi-Fi is not at all good, and it keeps on fluctuating. Classrooms are very good with a multi-purpose TV installed in all of them. The library is stocked with almost every necessary book required. I am a day scholar, so what I have heard from my hostel friends is that the hostel mess is the worst. The quality of food is not good. Rooms are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Their teaching quality is decent anyway, and it all depends on us and not teachers. Many teachers are supportive. This college has an industry-relevant curriculum, company-fitted labs, a lot of assignments, and mini projects. Exams conducted are moderately difficult. For the CSE branch, as of I know, the pass percentage is 40% including assignments.
Other: CSE is a popular course, so I chose this course. The best thing about the CSE course is that it has the highest placement rate and more job roles compared to other courses. It is surrounded by IT companies.

This college gives proper education, the proper fun, and the proper placements for your future.
Placements: Our college offers all the best companies, and most of all, students get placed in the end. Many multinational companies and global companies come to our college for placements. Most students get placed every year. Few people say that at the end, placements are not given, but as I have noticed over these 23 years, I don't feel that, and I have reviewed most of the seniors who have already got placed right now.
Infrastructure: Hostel comes with very good security and safety, and with a set of rules and regulations that they make you follow. Hostel provides the best food. They provide very healthy food and it's tested by the government, so no need to worry if you are in the hostel, your health and your safety are maintained by the college.
Faculty: Ravi is the best faculty and very understanding HOD. Exams are conducted very strictly and handled by the exam department. They won't let you copy, no malpractice is done because they provide so much knowledge that you won't do anything like that, and they take very strict action against the malpracticed students.
Other: If you want to enjoy the college life and enjoy the future with good company placements, please take admission in this college I highly recommend you this.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities were very high. Almost everyone got placed through the college, provided they were eligible. In the first year, students were eligible for internships, and by the time they reached the second year, they became eligible to sit for final placements. Many companies were regular recruiters, like ICICI, HDFC, CITI, Wipro, AYE Finance, TASL, etc. In total, around 70+ companies visited our college, offering more than 100 positions. The highest package offered to us was 18+ LPA, and the average package of the college was 9.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I resided in the hostel. Hostels were on campus, and although there were no issues with electricity and water, rooms were pretty small to accommodate three people. Another major issue was the food, the mess food had been really pathetic even after repeated complaints. If something tasty was ever cooked, it was rare. The fee of the hostel was Rs. 62,000 yearly.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members were Ph.D. holders or PG qualified, and all had more than 10 years of experience, which is why the success story was high. They were very interactive with students, and the standard of teaching was above excellence. Every month, we had internals, and every 4 months, we had externals. It was a nice exam structure. We could gain more knowledge through practicals. If we failed in any exam, makeup exams were conducted very soon, and results were also announced quickly. Very good courses were offered by the college, and exams were conducted very strictly by the department, which helped students develop themselves through college activities and increased their willpower to prove their talent.
