However, if the student has discontinued the programme with the written permission from the concerned authority, the Director may consider the refund of the recovered amount of scholarship, provided the student completes all the requirements for the award of the degree within the maximum period as specified in the ordinances and regulations for the M.Tech./M.Plan. course in the Institute.
