IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has a seat intake of 1,152 for the four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) course offered in nine specialisations of Engineering. NIT Calicut accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech course specialisations and the BArch course. The cutoff is released category-wise for candidates belonging to the All India as well as the Home State quota. NIT Calicut JEE Main cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final rounds of cutoffs for various All India and Home State quota categories. Seat allotment results were declared for BTech courses and its multiple specialisations, as well as for the BArch course.

NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech  in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

• The JEE Main score of the candidate
• The category of the candidate
• The number of seats available in the course

NIT Calicut has 13 hostels on the campus, out of which 10 are for boys and 3 for girls. These include two mega hostels for boys and a 500-seat mega hostel for ladies. Messes operated by outsourcing are available in all hostels. Hostel administration is through the Chief Warden and the Council of Wardens, appointed by the Director. The Hostel and Mess Committee, with student members, manages the hostels and mess halls.
