Q:   What is the fee of the BArch course at NIT Calicut?
A:

As per unofficial sources, the total tuition fee of the five-year BArch course offered at NIT Calicut is INR 6.25 lakh. The hostel charges are up to INR 3.41 Lacs and a one-time fee payment of INR 31,500 is also required for admission. This given fee is as per the data collected from unofficial sources and thus is subject to changes.

Q:   What is the M.Tech application fee for NIT Calicut?
A:

 In order to submit the NIT Calicut MTech application form successfully, candidates will have to pay the required fees. The application fee for OP/EWS/OBC/PwD categories candidates is INR 1,000. In addition, the SC/ST categories need to pay INR 500. Further, the application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking.

This is NIT better than other universities.

Placements: At NIT the placement is very strong, a large number of students get placed in companies. Depending on their branch and conditions, the lowest package is at 3 LPA-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, etc. The same goes for internships, many of the students secure a job during their internships.

Satisfied because of the faculties, events, and fests in 2025, and the good infrastructure.

Placements: In civil engineering, around 80% of the students who register for the placements get placed. The highest package is around 34 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Larsen & Toubro, JK Cements, HPCL, BPCL etc. are the top recruiters from civil. Most of the students who do well in their academics get internships assisted by the institute in prominent companies of the core sector. Structural engineer, surveyor, and offshore engineering are the top roles offered by this course.

Great college, with a good balance between academics and social life.

Placements: Average package of around 18 LPA. Around 90% passed out got placed. Many top companies come for recruitment. Internship opportunities are provided. Most people take up tech jobs and related roles. However, there are people who get core jobs and some who move to management roles.

Placements: Last year, our campus placement was 90 percent. The highest package was 50.64 LPA, and the average package was 12.17. Top roles offered in our branch were VLSI design engineer, and the internship percentage was 24.4 percent of students were interns, and PG students were 18.62 percent.

An absolutely amazing college, and better than taking a drop.

Placements: In Mechanical engineering, 120 out of 200 students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Ford, L&T, Tata Motors, and Goldman Sachs. Top roles are software engineer, data analyst, finance, and general manager. The highest package is 34 LPA, the average is 9.2 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Internship rate is 20 percent.
