NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Admission 2026: Application, Courses, Dates, Eligibility, Fee and Seats

NMIT Bangalore offers admission to candidates based on their entrance exam scores. Nitte University conducts NUCAT or Nitte University Common Admission Test for admission to BTech, MTech, MBA ad MCA courses. The test is conducted for 120 minutes in online mode. The total tuition fee for first year is INR 2.1 Lacs for both CAPT and CAFD courses. Other than this, students also have to pay exam fees of 10,000 every year. There is a CPL charge to be paid in third year. It is between INR 42 to INR 60 lakh. Students have to pay fees annually.

including general charges & electricity, ranged between INR 50000 and INR 60000. The refundable deposit charge is INR 15000. 

Candidates must score at least 90% aggregate in PCM in Class 12 in first attempt and have NUCAT score of more than 65 to get seat under tuition fee waiver category at NMIT Bangalore. Students must also have annual family income less than INR 8 Lacs for admission under this category.

Yes, NITTE Meenakshi conducts NUCAT for admission to UG and PG courses. Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) is conducted in online mode for 120 minutes. Candidates seeking admission in BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA or BSc (Hons) courses at NMIT Bangalore must have a score in NUCAT. The institute also offers admission in few BTech seats based on JEE Main score. Aspirants need to participate in counselling and seat allotment with their rank for final admission.

The highest rank acceptable in 2025 was 16737 for the General AI category. So, students who have a rank below 16737 have a better chance of admission in the MBA/PGDM course. Students should know that the cutoff for other categories will vary.

Yes, there is a practical training. It is a part of third year curriculum of the course. The training includes 230 hours Flight Training, 200 hours on Aircraft and 30 hours on Approved Flight Simulator. Other than this, some major subjects in the course are Air Regulation, Navigation, Jet Oriented Training, Safety Management System (SMS), etc.
