Good infrastructure and teachers.
Placements: Japanese placements pay 22 LPA available for all the branches in BE and B.Tech. The placement coordinators are really good, and they help with everything you want. All Japanese companies atleast 13 of them will come for the recruitment of the students.
Infrastructure: Our college has good library. It has collection of online and offline books. We have good facilities. Good interaction is there with students. We have good football court for playing games. There is a basketball court as well for sports. It has good facilities in general. The clubs are good as well in all departments.
Faculty: Everything is relevant to the course. Teachers are highly knowledgeable. The exams are easy and whatever is taught will come in the exams. The students are industry-ready for placements, higher education, and training for the same will be provided.

A wonderful experience in this green campus.
Placements: Almost 80 to 85% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 46 LPA, and the lowest is about 6 LPA. Companies like L&T, Infosys, and Intel come to our college for recruitment. Top roles offered are scrum master, project lead, testing engineer, and program developer.
Infrastructure: All the rooms are well-maintained and very hygienic. The food is good but it provides the same food every week. There is a medical center. There are various labs with high technology. There are places where students get a chance to focus on physical development. There is a gym and sports activities too.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They help us and guide us clearly. Unless we go, nobody will approach. So if we approach them, they will always be there for us. Our curriculum is more course outcome-oriented. Exams are easy if you study well. Our college is strict in discipline.
Other: My course offers me all the things. We have great clubs available to join. Our college fest Anaadhyantha is the biggest 2 day fest. We enjoy a lot, and there are a lot of opportunities for us to develop both personally and professionally. There is a special team that looks after student's mental well-being.

It is a bad college with faculty members. Placements in 2024 were good.
Placements: More than 90% got students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Kickdrum, Capgemini, Accenture, MathCo, and IBM visit the college to hire students. Almost 90% of students got internships in companies like Mathco, IBM, and Accenture. Top roles like developer and UI/UX training are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There is decent Wi-Fi in classrooms. There is no Wi-Fi in some labs and they use LAN. There is a good Wi-Fi in the library. Hostel Wi-Fi used to be good but now it is horrendous. The quality of food in the mess is so bad. Only on Sunday and Wednesday, dinner has good food like chicken and paneer. Sports events happen most of the time which is a good thing here. Medical facilities are decent.
Faculty: Not even a single thing taught by the teacher was useful or understandable. Faculty members are very bad. The course curriculum is just useless and it does not make students industry-ready. We have subjects like EVS (environment studies), CO (computer organisation which is a hardware topic), and DD (digital design) an electrical subject and they just hinder our CGPA and nothing else. Due to these subjects, exams are horrible. Students need to score 40 out of 100 in the semester-end exams to get passed.
Other: I chose this course and this college because of rank issues. I could not get a good rank in JEE to get a college in Delhi where I live. Nothing is good about this course. The worst thing is the attendance requirement is 75%, if students' attendance is even 74%, then faculty members will make them ineligible for that subject. I hope the college should change the HOD, include more tech-related subjects, and provide internship training. Events happen rarely, our main fest named Anadyanta happens in May for 3 days. At the fest, they invited some artists, and last year they invited Sachet Parampara Tandon, which was really awesome.

It is quite good until it became a university and stopped taking admissions from COMEDK and KCET.
Placements: I have seen people getting placed at good offers, and a few at more than 30 LPA, which can be considered good. However, not all departments have this situation, and people should also have the necessary skills for it. After all, it is ultimately about the skills you have.
Infrastructure: We have big rooms in the hostels and smart classrooms in the college, with good sanitation that gets cleaned daily. There is a big football ground, and Wi-Fi is available 24/7 in the hostels. The mess food is not quite to my liking, even though they have improved it.
Faculty: In my department, the faculty is quite good, very helpful, and kind. Even though they are strict, they are ultimately still kind and helpful. They are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. The first four semesters are easy, and among them, the even semesters are even easier.
Other: It is my interest in aerospace and aeronautical that drew me to this course.

A short note on NMIT College.
Placements: The salary packages vary, with the highest being 7 LPA, the lowest at 4 LPA, and an average package between 5 - 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Qcrete Readymix, Agrima Roofing, and Tata Steel. Approximately 30-50% of students secured internships with notable companies like Coca-Cola and Puravankara. The most common roles offered were in project management, design, and testing.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in NMIT is very poor, and the mobile network is hectic. I hate this thing about our college, the Wi-Fi network is not good, and mobile network is the worst. We can't send any message, or sometimes we don't get OTPs, etc. The labs here are good, and the systems are new, and they run smoothly.
Faculty: The teachers at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) are highly qualified and knowledgeable, with many holding PhDs, and they provide significant support to students. The institution is autonomous, which allows it to regularly update its curriculum to stay relevant to the demands of the IT industry. The programme is structured to make students ready for employment, including topics like Big Data and IoT, and requires mandatory internships. While the final exams are challenging, a high percentage of students successfully pass their courses.
Other: The Civil Engineering branch at NMIT, Bangalore, which began in the academic year 2009-10, offers a four-year B.Tech programme known for its qualified faculty and well-equipped labs featuring industry-standard software like AutoCAD and STAAD Pro. The college is recognised for its peaceful, green campus and a lively student crowd, with an active calendar of events including the annual techno-cultural fest Anaadyanta.

Nitte College review โ€“ Mediocre, could be better.
Placements: So far, only about 10% of my course students have been placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest is around 5-6 LPA. I cannot say much about the top recruiting companies as not all companies have come yet. The top roles offered in my course are data analyst and data scientist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the AIML department is not that great. As it is a department with lesser strength compared to the core branches such as CSE and ISE, we do not have a lot of facilities. There are just an adequate number of classrooms and labs. Also, the classrooms have terrible ventilation. We do not have any Wi-Fi routers as well.
Faculty: I would say only a handful of teachers actually teach something worth the studentsโ€™ time. The teaching is not that great overall, and the majority of studying is done through self-study. Classes are only attended for the sake of attendance. I would also say sometimes there is a lack of professionalism. Overall, not great.
