NMAM Institute of Technology admissions 2026 are open for all the courses. Other latest updates are as follows:
- The KCET 2026 registration window will open on Jan 17, 2026 for admission to the BE/BTech and other courses. Students can register till February 2026 ( Tentative). The exam will be held on April 23, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
- The KMAT Karnataka 2026 session 1 registration process for admission to MBA/PGDM and MCA courses is expected to begin in Feb 2026.
- The ATMA 2026 Feb session registration is open until Feb 10, 2026, for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses, and the exam will be held on Feb 22, 2026.
- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
- The XAT result 2026 for admission to the MBA/PGDM course is expected to be released between Jan 17, 2026 and Jan 20, 2026.

Bangalore days in NMMA College.
Placements: Our campus placements are new every year, and recruiters are new every year. The average package of our college is 9 LPA from robotics. The AI department has an average 22 LPA package. If I want placement in college itself, our major recruiters are from Japan, as our seniors were placed in Japan mostly, so we are also planning the same. Our college offers internships, especially summer internships for a year, and I'm currently completing an internship that has already been a year long. We can opt for another.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very different, as it is built in forest areas near coastal areas, and it is full of greenery. Hostel facilities are very good compared to other hostels. We get delicious food and menu changes every month. We get to eat different dishes in a week, there are 3 days of non-vegetarian food like chicken, and another 3 days of fish.
Faculty: The faculty members are very approachable and friendly. Every semester is divided into 3 internal exams, 1 end-semester exam, and lab exams if applicable. The internals are very easy and scoring, it's for 20 marks. 2 internals are given for 20 marks each, and another 10 marks are for the task. 20/50 must be obtained in this, if you fail to do so, they will provide you with another internal exam where the marks will be rounded to 20/50. The end-semester exam is for 100 marks, and a minimum of 40 marks must be obtained in this.
Other: Our college environment and college extracurricular activities are very innovative, as there are 84 clubs in our college, combining both tech and cultural, they are active every day for 6 months (semester). They conduct events every Saturday and Friday.

For Master's, this is a good college.
Placements: NITTE has a very good placement record. Almost 95 per cent of students who are eligible to be part of the placement programme get placed one way or the other. But not on a huge package, the average placement package is very small, according to me. Basically, the average package offered to a mechanical student is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs and other sports facilities are up to the mark. A lot of extracurricular activities are focused on, apart from academics. There is quality and a sense of fraternity among students. Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. The hostel has the best infrastructure. Amazing facilities. Appreciable food. The cost of staying in a hostel is way less than actually renting or staying in a PG for the same facilities. The first years have restrictions on time. That is, they have to be inside by 6:30. But other senior students have time till 9:00 PM.
Faculty: Faculty in mechanical engineering are very experienced, with almost all the faculty members having 10+ years of experience. The course curriculum is affiliated with VTU but remains autonomous in its titles. The syllabus includes subjects that are not important to all the students. Moreover, no practical or application of the subject is implemented. But the concepts are thoroughly focused. The exams are conducted in a timely manner, in a time interval of 3 months or 6 months.

M.Teach Course admission information about location, facilities, placement, etc.
Placements: In my IT batch, about 82% were placed. The average is 5.2 LPA, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the highest is 11.5 LPA. Recruiters: Teach Mahindra, Wipro, and Accenture. 68% obtained internships at startups, Infosys, and HCL. Among the positions were QA tester, web developer, data analyst, and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The library was well-stocked, classrooms had projectors, and the labs and Wi-Fi were good. The mess food was occasionally good, but the hostel was clean. There was space for badminton and cricket, a decent canteen, basic medical assistance, and limited sports equipment.
Faculty: Although the faculty was knowledgeable and helpful, some of them were overly theoretical. Although the curriculum was slow to adopt the newest technology, it was largely relevant to the industry. Exams were fairly challenging, with some challenging papers. The internal marking felt consistent, but the pass rate was about 85%.

Placements: Only about 65% of students are placed in my course. The highest offered fro my course is 22LPA and the lowest is 2.5LPA. SAMSUNG, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MIRAFRA, SIEMENS are top recruiters. All of us have got internaOnly about 65% of students are placed in my course. The highest offer for my course is 22LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Samsung, Texas Instruments, Mirafra, and Siemens are the top recruiters. We all have received internships as part of our academics, but we secured them on our own in many small-scale industries. I am aiming for a software engineer position.

Infrastructure: The building is old with average facilities; we do have AC and Wi-Fi, as well as filtered water. However, the hostel food is very poor, and the token system does not allow us to eat according to our wishes. The curfew time is very early; it feels like we are treating ourselves like 4-year-old kids.
Faculty: Faculty members often rely on reading from PPT presentations rather than helping students understand the material. The college does not adequately prepare us for the industry; internships are what build our confidence to handle work pressure. Exams are quite challenging in the electronics field.

Facilities are really good. The amazing at hosting events and gives great opportunities to students.
Placements: Nearly 200 people are placed in my course. The highest is 45 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA to 10 LPA. Google and many huge companies. Nearly 70% of students get internships from our course and with good companies. In our college, they provide us with everything.
Infrastructure:
Labs are very clean and neat. Libraries are very organized. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms. There are 2 types of Indian food, North and South. The food at the hostels is amazing. There is also a small medical clinic for the native students inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. You can ask them doubts anytime, and they are always free to help you. In my course, there is nothing related to the industry, so I don't know. Exams are really easy, and the passing percentage is nearly 35%, I guess.

The college provides good placements.
Placements: NMAMIT has the best placements. Good companies like Juniper, HPE, and Cohesity come to the campus. Even non-IT branches like EC and EE have good placement records. Most of them get placed in a batch. Only 10% of the students will remain unplaced. The highest package is 53 LPA and the average is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is located far from cities like Manglore and Udupi which is a drawback. The campus has been maintained well. Labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned. Hostel mess provides 3 meals a day and there are both options for South and North meals.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge of the subjects they handle. There are 2 MSE of 20 marks each an assignment of 10 marks and one final semester examination of 100 marks. The level of difficulty is moderate and almost all can manage to pass.
