The college has well-equipped infrastructure, with good placements and experienced faculty.
Placements: In my batch, being the first to opt for this course, no one has been placed yet. We come under ECE. Some of the top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Qualcomm, L&T, and Bosch. About 60% of students receive internships during the course. The top roles offered are embedded systems engineer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern labs for Embedded Systems, VLSI, Communication and Networking, along with high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus. The classrooms are spacious, and the hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, good food, and proper ventilation.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, approachable, and supportive, guiding students in both academics and research. The curriculum is regularly updated in line with industry needs, covering core subjects along with emerging areas like IOT, AI/ML, and VLSI.
Other: The fests are great, the campus is filled with greenery, and it supports extracurricular activities.

The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty.
Placements: More than 80% of the students from our course were successfully placed. In the year 2024, the highest package offered was 49 LPA, with an average package of 7 LPA, and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Texas Instruments, Zenken, Accenture, and others.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with more than five academic blocks, each designed to support a focused and enriching learning environment. High-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus, including classrooms, hostels, and even common areas like the canteen, ensuring seamless access to digital resources. The infrastructure includes well-maintained laboratories, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library that supports both academic and research pursuits. Hostel facilities are comfortable and secure, with regular maintenance and cleanliness. The food provided in the mess and canteen is hygienic, nutritious, and caters to a variety of dietary preferences. Additionally, students have access to reliable medical facilities, and the campus encourages physical well-being through various sports grounds and recreational amenities, promoting a balanced and holistic student experience.

    My Overall Mediocre Experience .
Placements: In our department, it was 70-80% placement last year. The highest package was 52 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Nutanix, Finacle, and some Japan-based companies. So far, from the college, less than 5 people have gotten internships via the college. We have the Atul Incubation Centre too, in which many startups work, and they also offer internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: We have pretty good labs and classrooms, but they don't turn on the AC in class, which is a major drawback in Karkala. Wi-Fi is simply for the sake of it. It's not at all fast for others to use. Only Ethernet cables are fast. The library is very old and compact with very bad librarians. The hostel is average in terms of infrastructure and food. The food is mediocre. It's a coupon-based system.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, but most of them are just not updated to the current trend. They still teach what they learned in the 90s. No hands-on learning in the curriculum, and if there’s a hands-on activity, none will be done by our faculty members. No, it doesn’t make us industry-ready, of course. Internals are pretty easy, but semester-end exams are pretty average. Most of them pass.
Other: I chose Information Science at the beginning because I didn’t get CS. Now I'm happy with my course since I have a strong passion for security-related things, and also, the IS curriculum has many subjects related to that, which are not in Computer Science. Incredia is the yearly main fest held in our college, which is pretty good.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and placements in the 2024-2025 batch.
Placements: Only about 65% of students are placed in my course. The highest offered fro my course is 22LPA and the lowest is 2.5LPA. The highest offer for my course is 22LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Samsung, Texas Instruments, Mirafra, and Siemens are the top recruiters. We all have received internships as part of our academics, but we secured them on our own in many small-scale industries. I am aiming for a software engineer position. ship as part of academics, but we got it all on our own in many small scale industries. SOFTWARE ENGINEER .
Infrastructure: The building is old with average facilities; we do have AC and Wi-Fi, as well as filtered water. However, the hostel food is very poor, and the token system does not allow us to eat according to our wishes. The curfew time is very early; it feels like we are treating ourselves like 4-year-old kids.
Faculty: Faculty members often rely on reading from PPT presentations rather than helping students understand the material. The college does not adequately prepare us for the industry; internships are what build our confidence to handle work pressure. Exams are quite challenging in the electronics field.

Facilities are really good. The amazing at hosting events and gives great opportunities to students.
Placements: Nearly 200 people are placed in my course. The highest is 45 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA to 10 LPA. Google and many huge companies. Nearly 70% of students get internships from our course and with good companies. In our college, they provide us with everything.
Infrastructure: Labs are very clean and neat. Libraries are very organized. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms. There are 2 types of Indian food, North and South. The food at the hostels is amazing. There is also a small medical clinic for the native students inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. You can ask them doubts anytime, and they are always free to help you. In my course, there is nothing related to the industry, so I don't know. Exams are really easy, and the passing percentage is nearly 35%, I guess.

Good infrastructure some faculties are not good and and some good no extra holidays and only 3 days
Placements: The highest package offered in our?50LPA, while the lowest was ?2-3LPA, with an average package of ?7-8LPA. Regarding internships, around P% of students secured internships in reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, Adobe, IBM, Accenture, and Wipro. These internships provided valuable industry exposure and hands-on experience in real-world projects. The top roles offered to graduates of our course included Software Developed, Data Analyst, Web Developed, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Cloud Engineer. And about the companies details I don't know nividea, sony etc. But don't include google, amazon, microsoft .
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure during non rainy days. During rainy days there was a bad sell of birds poop in the college there are lot of birds on those during the offering season the campus was good they clean all the *** etc. And clean the campus fully and their also was the temple.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good, but some are a little crazy type, they will shout without any reason. Even our Student Welfare Officer shouts at us without any solid reason. The exams for MSE and MSE 2 are mostly known by the teacher. Most of the time they provide important questions. For some exams, they provide important questions, but by using previous years' question papers, we can easily pass the exams.
