Overall, this college is amazing.

Placements: Placements conducted here are good, and many good companies visit here for placements. Like other colleges, core placements are not much great in our college right now. A lot of students get placed in tech companies with an average salary package of about 3.5 LPA-5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our campus and its facilities are amazing, and classrooms are great. The speed of the Wi-Fi facility is high on the campus. But the speed of the Wi-Fi is slow in the hostel and doesn't available in all the rooms. The food served in the hostel is amazing, and sports and games are encouraged. Sports faculty members are very good and provide very good training.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and love to teach. They possess all the required skills and knowledge. The course is a bit outdated, but it is designed by research and development centres, incubation centres and other such facilities.

Absolutely awesome college with good placements.

Placements: This year 80 percentage of students got placement in electrical and electronics engineering. The highest salary offered is 6LPA. And average salary is 4 LPA. Top recruiting company are Accenture, Infosys, triphase, accords, etc. 10 percentage of students got internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in classroom and labs are available as required. Wi-Fi facilities is available in college as well as hostel. Quality of food available in hostel mess is good but not healthy as home food. Medical facilities available in campus. Sports and games are held for interested students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students. They are highly qualified and experienced. High quality education is provided. They ready students for the company. They provide employment skills development and placement trainings. There will be regular talks by the resources person in college.

Other: Electrical engineering is the best branch which I chose because it has high opportunities for government jobs. There will be event like incridia in college.

Good infrastucture, good faculty, average placements in 2015

Placements: The placements for my batch were decent with roughly 66 companies recruiting students from various branches. Infosys Ltd. was a major recruiter where about 350 students across different branches were selected . The total strength of students place was around 600. Few other companies that visited for campus placements were Wipro, Oracle, Robert Bosch, MindTree. Most of the companies that visit the college keep the application eligibility open to all branches but usually prefer students from Computer Science or Information Science branches. Students with CGPA greater than 8.25 allowed to apply to major recruiting companies as well a core company. The placement for students from EEE is usually low and rarely in core companies, but in 2015 students were hired by Bosch Ltd. , Polycab Wired Pvt. Ltd and Prestige construction. The highest salary package is usually grabbed by CS students which was around 8-9LPA in 2015. The average package is usually 3.5-4LPA. The lowest package was 2LPA during 2014-15. Students were also placed through pooled campus recruitment drives. SInce the academic year 2015-16, Accenture and few other mass recruiters have also started hiring students from Nitte. The core companies offer job profile of junior engineer which is usually maintenance or testing related. Internships aren't usually offered by the college and are pursued by the students based on their interests.

Infrastructure: NMAMIT, Nitte is located near Karkala and has a beautiful campus with greenery all around. The classrooms are spacious with good seating arrangement. The new block has stadium style seating. All classrooms have projectors. WiFi connection is available for registered laptops only. The labs are well equipped and all the equipments are maintained in good working conditions. The central library has a huge collection of books as well as two floors of spacious and peaceful are for students to study. The library at the Annex building is air conditioned and is better suited for group studies. There is also a separate section for magazines. There is a health care center situated inside the campus. The college has several active sports teams including cricket, basketball, handball etc. Students from both men's and women's team have represented the college on national platforms. The canteen food is not very good, but meals are decent enough. Hostel rooms are also well maintained. All infrastructure related problems are solved if brought to the notice of appropriate authorities.

Faculty: The faculty at the department of Electrical and Electronics are all amicable and supportive. The faculty are well qualified and cover the entire syllabus as prescribed. Being an autonomous institution the syllabus can be altered, but is not done so very often. The course curriculum is as per VTU guidelines but could be a little more contemporary. Students are encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities and take up hobby projects in their free time. The labs are kept open beyond class hours,on request, for students to work. The class strength varies from 60-80 each year. There 20 teaching staff. Additional workshops are also held for students. Students need to look for industry exposure in their own time.

It has better infrastructure and facilities. It is the best college for setting the base of life.

Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed because we are in the third year of engineering. Our college provided great placements in different companies like Infosys, Accenture and Triphase. Many students from our batch have already done their internship in different places like MESCOM, Mangalore Port Area, Kaiga Thermal Power Plant, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities given by our college are great. We have a separate lab for each subject, and all classrooms have an audio-visual facility. There is a separate library for the electrical branch. Canteen facility is given in our college. Quality of food given in the hostel is good. Separate food counter for vegetarian and non-vegetarian is available, which make all the students comfortable to have food. There is a great opportunity for students interested in sports. Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, athletic indoor games, and all types of sports and games are taught by professional teachers.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified, and they know most of the concepts related to different topics. They are available for us whenever we have doubt about a particular topic. Most of the courses make students industry-ready because we learn all the concepts like detailed concepts of things and what we must know before working.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was much interested in electrical concepts from childhood. Management can add more concepts and can give more information on practical-based than the theory-based. Every year our college conducts sports day and college fest, which are known across Karnataka as Incridea. Campus surroundings are lush green, which gives more interest to students. Most of the students get a scholarship, and some of them are also from campus.
