B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2027
5.0
Technically strong curriculum with good faculty support and a vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore, in the 2021-2025 batch. In our course, approximately 70% of eligible students secure placements through campus recruitment drives.
Infrastructure: The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at The Oxford College of Engineering offers excellent infrastructure. It has well-equipped classrooms and department-specific laboratories. It includes the electrical machines lab, power electronics lab, and microcontroller lab. All supported by industry-relevant software such as MATLAB and KEIL.
Faculty: Faculty in the electrical and electronics engineering department at The Oxford College of Engineering are well qualified, experienced, and supportive. Most professors hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees and are approachable for academic doubts, project guidance, and mentoring.
Other: I am from the 2021-2025 batch of EEE at The Oxford College of Engineering. I choose this course because of my deep interest in electronics, automation, and hands-on technology. The best things about the course are the practical-oriented labs, supportive faculty, and opportunities to work on real-world projects like IoT, embedded systems, and power systems.

No fests, no events, no sports but high fees.
Placements: The jobs offered were average so please don't have high hopes for placements. All the jobs offered in this college were not above average, as many companies were in BPO sectors. And those firms that offered good job roles still didn't provide an offer letter and denied the package they offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Oh, sorry, it was good. They've just built it but don't maintain it and the restroom stinks, which is on the floor where the principal cabins are situated. So think about the rest. But the infrastructure is good and you will miss the play ground as this college has a small play ground at the back.
Faculty: The faculty is good. You will find the best mentors if you are close to them. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. And the teaching quality is also decent, but this college is affiliated with VTU so you will find exams difficult.

College life is satisfactory.
Placements: The top companies came to our college, and many students got placed from our department. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, BYJU's, etc., came here. The packages offered were around 2 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with good labs and a library with many useful books. A pharmacy is available for any medical emergency. A canteen is available with good food, and the area is neat.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers with lots of knowledge are available. They help us by giving the information required and sorting our doubts related to the subject. They guide us on the right path for our career.
Other: They often conduct fests like technical, cultural and sports events to bring out the talent of students.

College life is satisfactory.
Placements: Top recognised companies like Infosys, Siemens, Byju's, IBM, etc., visited our campus. The salary package offered was 2 LPA to 6 LPA. The placement group is very good.
Infrastructure: We have a good campus, and the department is also very good. We have a departmental library where we can find books related to our course, so we need not go to the main library, which is pretty useful.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, and they are very helpful to students. They clear doubts whenever asked. They give us practical examples of the subjects, and they are very supportive.
Other: We always have technical fests and culture fests like other colleges, like Ethnic days, sports, etc. We also have industrial visits to the different industries.

It is a good campus with good infrastructure, very good placements and experienced faculty.
Placements: Many companies like Bosch, Sonata, Infosys, TCS and many others recruit students with good packages. They offer different roles like software engineer etc. The placements are good. The faculty are good, and they guide the students to get good placements.
Infrastructure: The Oxford College of Engineering has a very good infrastructure with labs, classrooms and library. The hostel rooms are good. Both South Indian and North Indian food items are available. Evening snacks are available. The college has a huge playground. The library has a good collection of books.
Faculty: Our EEE department has good faculty members with good experience. The teachers are very helpful in our studies. If we ask our doubts, the teachers will clarify them clearly with good examples. The teaching quality is very good. Our department faculty are PhD holders. It is very helpful to us.
Other: I chose this course because it has a good scope.

Review of The Oxford College of Engineering.
Placements: Our college has good placement facilities, and many companies such as Bosch, Wipro, Amazon and others visit the campus to conduct interviews and to hire students. Placement faculty members make sure that every student gets a chance for the campus interviews, and they strive to make sure that many students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure. Labs are equipped with good equipment. We have one of the best libraries in Bangalore compared to others. Hostel and its facilities are pretty decent. There is a canteen and also a small playground inside the campus.
Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching faculty members at our college are very good. They have a decent period of experience in their respective fields. Most of the teaching staff members are doctorates, and they have PhDs. Staff members who don't have PhD degrees are also more than qualified to be a part of the teaching staff members. The course curriculum is very relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because the EEE department has a great scope in the market now, and the future depends on non-renewable energy.

It is the best college in terms of infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Both private and government companies come to hire students. If you are capable enough, you will get a job. Our college provides the best placements. Some of my friends got placed in companies like Wipro, Amazon, etc., and the packages offered are good.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. Our department has good labs. Canteen food is very tasty. The department library is huge, and you can study there. You can concentrate on your studies without any disturbance. The gate is also big. There are many computers in the lab.
Faculty: Our department teachers are really good. Every teacher is very helpful. If students have any doubt related to any subjects, the teachers will clarify them for us. Some of the teachers have good knowledge. The teachers are friendly with students. They guide and also motivate you.
