College life here is really good.
Placements: Placements offered for IT branches were good, and for non-IT branches were less. About 60% of IT branch students were placed. The highest package was 27 LPA, the average was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The recruiting companies were Infosys, Cognizant, and Mahindra. A very less number of students got internship offers, and many got a direct joining letter.
Infrastructure: The college offers a good environment, with infrastructure, labs, and classrooms. The quality of food in the mess, canteen, and coffee shop was good. There was great support for different sports organized by the VTU and the city zone, with many had reached state and national levels in sports and had great support.
Faculty: The faculty members were qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality and lectures in our course were also good. They provided great support for our academics. There was not much exposure to industry, but we had a great and good lab on campus. Semester examinations in this college were good, and had a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering, thinking about the future scope for this subject, and to gain more technical knowledge. We had great activities on campus.

Placements are getting improved year after year & placement training also conducted in college.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 10 lakhs per annum. Almost all students from our course got internship in a very good companies. Placements are getting improved year after year. Training and placement cell is conducting placement and training classes in order to train students towards employability skills.
Infrastructure: Our College has a very good infrastructure. It has an open garden and sports facilities. The spacious well -lit, ample sound and light system provides the apt support for academic expression. Well designed and equipped library, spacious well-lit laboratories with adequate equipment strengthen the understanding. Hostel with well-maintained canteen.
Faculty: Teaching staffs are really good and experienced. Faculty give personal, focused academic attention to students. They implement the designated Curriculum completely in due time. They engage students in active, hands-on, creative problem -based learning. They create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Faculty members in our department are really experienced. The Training Level is excellent. They take the students to industrial visit in order to make them understand the theoretical concepts and get ideas to solve the real-world problems. They conduct technical and non-technical events.
Other: Fests to refresh students' mind are conducted.

Review of NIE Institute of Technology.
Placements: All the students from our course didn't get placed. However, students who always try will get placed. Many core companies don't visit here for placements, but we can try for placements in the IT sector. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA for our course by one of the core companies which visited our college. Internships can be done outside the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the lab building. Classrooms are good and spacious, and the library is also good and has online access. The hostel is under construction, and it is available for students from next year. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good and affordable. The medical facility is available for first aid, and a doctor is also available in the health care department. Our college also gives importance to sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers for our course are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is also good. The course curriculum is good. Students also must put efforts by doing online courses and learning new things from the internet as everything cannot be taught by the mentor.
Other: I chose this course as it is one of the core branches. I would like to learn something beyond the syllabus through the internet and from our lecturers who are very knowledgeable. Events and fests are also organised here.

Good placements & supportive faculty. Plenty of co-curricular activities to relax and have fun.
Placements: The placement in my college has seen a drastic growth over the last few years. So many people got placed even before the beginning of the 7th semester. I got placed in Alstom company with a package of 6.5 LPA. The highest package in my class is 8 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Sufficient classrooms are available and the laboratory is big enough for the batch size. No shortage of PCs and other equipments. Good teaching faculty. Supportive lab attendees. Good environment for learning. Good campus life. Plenty of co-curricular activities to relax and have fun with friends.
Faculty: Lecturers are extremely polite and concerned. Lecturing sessions are very convenient. Though the syllabus is pretty outdated, the lecturers make sure to keep us industry-ready. Many industrial visits. Friendly lecturers. So many committees and student formed organisations to grow our personality.

Staff members are friendly and good in providing placement activities.
Placements: We are still in the pre-final year, but I am sure that our college placement coordinator offers us placements in good companies. We are providing with training from 1st year only, which is very helpful for us. Even we are trained with mock interviews to attend interviews.
Infrastructure: The hostel is under construction, and there is a well-furnished infrastructure. Computer labs, physics lab, chemistry lab and electrical labs are good and safe. Our college provides good encouragement for sports activities. Medical facilities are available during college hours.
Faculty: I am studying in the electrical and electronics course. There are well-qualified staff members for us. Both teaching and non-teaching staff members are student-friendly.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and placements. Infrastructure is good, and it is maintained well.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch were not good. 10% of the students were placed in the last year. There is a placement cell which is of no use. Even the salary package offered to the placed students was Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. The placement management is not efficient enough to attract more companies to conduct placements.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide Wi-Fi facility. The labs are good and well-equipped. Classrooms are maintained well. The library and information centre are not much useful. The food in the canteen is not good. Sports are really bad in our college because they do not show interest in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but half of them are not good, they are just average. They are knowledgeable but not efficient to teach. Their teaching quality is average. Industry exposure is not provided. The course curriculum is effective.
Other: Different types of events are conducted every year. Every branch celebrates their own fest every year. The campus crowd is over 500 to 600. The surroundings of the college resemble a village environment. The college management does not provide any scholarships. Extracurricular activities are often conducted but not great.

It is a great campus, great experience, great knowledge to gain.
Placements: There have been good placements in this year. We are hoping that the placement will continue for the next year also. Well-reputed MNC companies joined the session this year, and they offered a very good package. It's a good institute, and it gives us a great opportunity in every field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, with a cricket ground in front of it. We can spend a very good time around there, and there are classrooms with pretty good furniture, and smart study is provided. The library is pretty cool. Not only cricket but also there are much more games that students are given opportunities.
Faculty: Teaching staff are very supportive, and we will gain good knowledge from them. They use projectors and board, and we'll have a good time with them. Every subject is handled by a unique teacher, and it's quite good. So, we could get relevant knowledge from them.
Other: There is a great scope of participants, fests, branch fest, college fest and many more. It's a great college, which allows all the scholarships that are available today, which is great.

Partially satisfied since there was no campus placements during our batch.
Placements: There was not much campus placement in our college during 2015 passed out. But there was 3 pool campus where we were supposed to go to other colleges and attend the placement. Roughly around 15 people got placement in our batch. College provided pre campus training which was very helpful for cracking aptitude and written tests.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not the best as compared to other colleges in Mysore. There was good library with varieties and huge collection of books. Wi-Fi was not available properly. Classrooms was well-equipped with good bench and board. Sports was very good perhaps. Canteen food was very good. There was not much issues related to infrastructure.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our batch were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but 2 faculty from our department had always issues with the students and their quality was pretty bad I must say. Course was useful throughout the 4 year tenure. Teaching methods were traditional but practical was very good with different types of methodology and understanding. Student to faculty ratio was roughly 16:1.
Other: They conducted regular fest and other extracurricular activities. Campus was well located in Industrial area but frequent bus facility was not available ( Bus every 3 hours) but there was private cabs or autos. There was no scholarship provided by the college.
