Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research for Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry course.
Placements: Our college is good for placements in B.Tech and for M.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. It has higher chances of getting into a good college for a PhD. In placements, many students get placements. The average package offered is 9 LPA, and the highest package offered is 32 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good. There are a huge number of books for all categories, and we get free books in the library. Classrooms are good, and in some classrooms, there are centralised ACs. Labs are good and have good equipment. Hostels are good, but there is a shortage of hostels. Only 2 hostels are there for boys, and 2 for girls. The food is not good in hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and friendly. The course curriculum is designed according to higher exams. Exams are good. If we write correctly, then we will get good marks. With less effort, we get good marks. The pass mark for exams is 36 out of 100. There are two parts in exams, i.e., internal and end-semester exams.
Other: 2 types of fests are held in our college, i.e., technical fest and the cultural fest named Xtasy. We have an annual sports meet named Engineers Cup. All colleges from Odisha come here to participate in it. There are a lot of people who study here and have a great experience.

It is good for tech branches.
Placements: In our integrated M.Sc. Course, placements opportunities are very low because few companies are hiring students who are pursuing this course. As it is a post-graduate course, we have to do other courses to pursue some job and for this, we have to study more.
Infrastructure: To be honest for a government-funded college they can be better in their infrastructure and hostel infrastructure. But they are not paying a little attention to the terrifying college infrastructure. It had been not renovated for about 7 years or more.
Faculty: The academic session of our college is so good and here they give priority to attendance. Professors are also cooperative and they are very open to their students. But some of them are opposite to them as I described before rather, else everything is good.
Other: Fests and events are breathtaking here.

Good Placement but Bad College Life Because of Rules and Regulations.
Placements: Placement is very good. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte recruit from our college. A very high percentage of students were placed this year. The highest package of all time was 46 LPA; last year, it was 32 LPA. CSE, Electrical, and E&I students have top placement records.
Infrastructure: Decent and old hostel building; only the laboratory building is newly made. Wi-Fi is very good. Food quality in our hostel is good, but not in the other three. Sports are quite decent. College authority doesn't put any effort into sports; it depends only on students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but a little less helpful. The teaching quality of some teachers is good but bad in the case of others. The course is relevant but offers very little job opportunities. Semester exams are easy to score, but unfortunately, the pass percentage is not very high.
Other: I chose this course as per my interest in research. The college fest is good. Students are good and cooperative. Extracurricular activities are also good. Clubs are good.

The college is good with its infrastructure and placements.
Placements: About 80% of students were placed in our course as this course is newly inaugurated in this college. Therefore, the popularity of this course is not much more compared to NITS. The highest package is about 7.5 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Dr. Reddy, JK paper and publications, and many more pharmaceutical companies come for recruitment. Nearly 40% of students are recruited by these companies in our course. This year students got recruited in JK Paper Pvt limited and a few students got recruited in TCS and Infosys because of their interest in technical line. Roles such as executive manager etc., are the roles provided.
Infrastructure: The college gives Wi-Fi facility to every student with very strong privacy. The labs and classroom infrastructure are good. All the labs have very nice postures which look very attractive and have a posture of our syllabus. The library is also good and it has all the books needed by the students during their course or semester. Hostel, quality of food, the mess is all good but the canteen area is little dirty. There are so many facilities for sports and games, and tournament with other colleges takes place.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable clear all the doubts in class in case of any doubt they clear it when the student consult them in their cabin. They have qualified net, GATE. According to my perception this course curriculum should have the duration of 4 years instead of 5 years as it is a integrated course. Yes because in our 4 th year they teach about industrial things. Intermediate between easy and difficult are the exams. Nearly 70 -80percentage students pass.
Other: Because of my interest in Chemistry, I choose this course instead of civil engineering and biotechnology. It gives us an idea about how medicines are made and their composition etc. There should be internship opportunities in our college. Campus crowd, events, and fest are all good. There are many scholarships such as Emedhabruti and laptop distribution and money for meritorious students which is very fascinating and grows the interest in study.

Absolutely satisfied for good placements.
Placements: There is a very good placement cell in CET. In my course, 94% of candidates got placement in various companies like TCS, Maruti Suzuki, Tata steel, Bosch etc. with the maximum package of 5 Lacs/annum and the lowest package of 2.5 Lacs/annum. 100% of students got internship in best industry or institutions every year in my department.
Infrastructure: My department is situated in the new lab building. There are very clean classrooms. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Laboratories are very well maintained. There are 2 boys hostel in CET. And they are also in good condition. Food quality is also very good in the mess. There is a dispensary for all students. And there are many sports, dance and singing clubs.
Faculty: Faculty members are more helpful than other engineering colleges. They are well qualified also. Their teaching quality is very good. There is a exam cell in CET academic block where all the exam sheets and exam planning meetings are held. The semester exams of my department is very tough and well maintained by my teachers.
