The College is Overall Good.
Placements: The placement is good in our college and many companies come for recruitment. The average package in our college is 15 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 45 Lacs per annum. The top recruiters are Maruti, TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, Infosys.
Infrastructure: The course is good. The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi. The labs are not so much good but they are well-equipped. The classrooms have whiteboards, not smart boards. The college has a good library full of books of different types. We can issue the books for at least 15 days.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good and very helpful. They help us in each and every situation. The exams are conducted 2 times per semester and 4 times per year. The exam papers are not so hard and are easy to clear if you read properly. The course structure is designed according to UGC.
Other: There are two fests conducted in our college. The tech fest known as Perception and the annual fest known as Xtasy. Lots of faculty and students come to see them. The fests are sponsored by large companies such as Realme.

Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: Software and other companies come here. Overall, the placements are good enough here. The average package is 4.8 LPA. The top recruiters are IT companies. I am interested in Physics, and because of the hype for this college in Bhuvaneshwar, I chose this college. There are a lot of events on the campus. You'll enjoy for sure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college facilities are good, and laboratories are available for different subjects. Currently, sports are promoted at a good pace. Hostels are very good. Our college has well-equipped and upgraded laboratories. Classrooms are also properly ventilated and lit, which provides a good atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers are good enough. But some improvement is needed in the labs, and new instruments must be provided as it now changed to OUTR, and R stands for research.

Good placements this year.
Placements: Good placements. You can get up to 6 LPA in the lowest biotech branch. The highest placement for CSE is 23 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, TCS, and Tata. Being a state (government) institution, OUTR is relatively affordable compared to many private colleges. Tuition & fees are reasonable, and hostel and living expenses are manageable in comparison. Many students feel that, considering the cost, the returns (in terms of placements, infrastructure improvements, etc.) are worth it.
Infrastructure: Decent campus of 100 acres. Don't expect a good college life, but the canteen food tastes good. The hostel and classrooms are decent. Some smart rooms have AC, and food quality is also 7 out of 10. Clubs, fests, and cultural activities exist, but sometimes feel limited in scale. Some students feel there should be more student engagement outside academics. Industrial exposure (site visits, real-world projects) in core branches seems less consistent.
Faculty: Faculty is good, but college life is entirely dependent on yourself. You have to study for a good CGPA. Exams are also held every two months. Many students report that semester exams are moderate to somewhat difficult, especially in higher semesters. It's not super easy, but not extremely harsh either. If you've studied regularly, you have a good chance. Some say studying a week before is sufficient to get a good SGPA, more than 8 in many branches. That suggests the exam format is somewhat predictable, and class tests/sessional tests help.

Review of Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: I have taken an integrated M.Sc. Our seniors got a very good rank in exams like NET, GATE, etc.
Infrastructure: College has free Wi-Fi, a good library, a reading room, co-curriculum activities, and the quality of food is very good. Elevators are available in the building, so you don't need to go by stairs. It has an aqua guard water filter. Classrooms are very good and there are smart rooms also.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. Semesters are very competitive as the quality of teaching is high. Teachers behavior is very humble and friendly to ask a doubt. They cover every part of the syllabus.
Other: I have a great interest in Physics. So I chose it.

College is very good, with good teachers, but avoid the hostel.
Placements: The placement data shows 95% or even 100% placements, but that is just a cover-up. Most students are recruited by mass recruiters. I am fairly positive that most are getting Rs. 15,000–Rs. 20,000 per month in cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, so it is quite a struggle for them.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not good. They ignore the hostels very much. The course infrastructure is fairly decent. The main issue with the hostel is the management. Before 2022, the management was very good, but now the new management mainly focuses on saving money by reducing quality in many areas.
Faculty: There are good faculty members here. Most of them have PhDs and are well-renowned in their field of expertise. However, some teachers here are highly unprofessional because of their cultural positions. They think they can even insult our parents. They are absolutely horrible in terms of management.
Other: The annual fest and the annual sports fest are very good.
