The campus life of Oriental.

Placements: Around 40 percent of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 72 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. TCS and Capgemini are some companies that visit our college more often, and students mostly get placed in them. Around 60 percent of students get internships, and some start their own startups. Role offered is software engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college has very beautiful infrastructure. The building and garden are very aesthetic and pretty. Many movie shootings have also happened here. Classrooms are 3.5/5. Labs are good, and computer labs are well air-conditioned as well. Hostel rooms are okay but mess food is like 2/5. Medical and sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Many teachers at OIST are qualified and knowledgeable. They also provide very good guidance to the students. Many are helpful in nature and with good behaviour, acting like school teachers. Course curriculum is mostly based on the RGVP, not industry level. Semester exams are good.

The beauty of the Oriental Institute.

Placements: 60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 72 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Cisco. Above 60% of students get internships and placement in companies like TCS, Wipro, Cisco, and Capgemini. Software Developer, AI development, Machine Learning, etc, roles were offered.

Infrastructure: Computer labs were well air-conditioned with top-quality monitors present. Chemistry, physics, mechanical, etc, labs were there with all the required equipment. The library had a variety of books and was a good place for learning, with a calm environment. The college infrastructure was very beautiful and aesthetic, with nature and cleanliness around.

Faculty: Teachers of the oriental institute of Science and Technology were very knowledgeable and guided us very nicely in our courses. The course curriculum was very relevant; they provided many practical projects and CRT, etc. Classes to make students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that difficult if we studied properly.

Other: This course is the most demanding right now. I had many good friends in college, and it also organized many hackathons, sports events, NCC, etc

Not a bad college and the placement is also okay. If you have less percentile then you can go for it

Placements: The placement scenario is quite good. The highest package offered is 72 LPA, although it is through off-campus. On-campus placements offer a maximum package of around 9.5 LPA, while the average package range between 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Several top companies such as TCS, American Case, Headway, Capgemini, and others have participated in the recruitment process.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Our college has a Wi-Fi connection, but it is limited to the computer lab, which is also equipped with well-maintained air-conditioning. The college provides seminar halls for training and placement sessions as well as for other events. Talking about the hostel, the food is not good we eat just to fill our stomachs. However, the hostel has a secure and fast Wi-Fi connection. It also has a sports coach and offers good sports training facilities.

Faculty: The faculty at our college is average not highly passionate but not bad either, but the training and placement faculty is exceptional I don't think anyone can match their level of support and guidance. The course is quite relevant to the industry, but in my opinion, there are some subjects like Physics and Chemistry that are unnecessary and don't have to be part of the curriculum.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't score a high percentile in JEE Main, but this college is considered one of the good private colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
