Decent infrastructure and relevant course after 1st year.
Placements: Around 60%-65% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 9 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA, and the lowest being 2 LPA. As far as my knowledge goes, the college doesn't provide internships, so students mostly rely on the off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with modern labs and classrooms. Wi-Fi is available in both the college and hostel, but in college, it's limited to labs. The hostel is decent and has basic facilities, but the mess food is not good and needs significant improvement.
Faculty: The faculty is average, not too good, not too bad. Some teachers are helpful, while others lack clarity in teaching. The course becomes more relevant after the first year, as from the second year onward, students start learning subjects specific to their branch.
Other: This course is good because I can try for further jobs also.

I am absolutely satisfied with it. The college is a value for money.
Placements: OIST hosts campus drives for numerous leading firms for IT-related branches. Some major companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, Deloitte, Hexaware, etc. The average package ranges from 4.5-6 LPA. Overall, more than 1,260 students got placed in the entire OGI.
Infrastructure: All kinds of facilities are available in this course. It also includes Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, and a digital library. The food quality is above average. Medical facilities are good, and sports facilities are also good. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls, including 2 for girls and 1 for boys, with a gym in it. It is under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. The course curriculum is really interesting and has a good scope for the future. Semester exams are quite difficult, but the pass percentage is 87%. 2nd semester exams are quite difficult, having M2 in it.

If students have a low percentage, then they can join this college.
Placements: I am in the EC branch at OIST. Placements of the college are not very good, and it's about 65-70%. The highest package is 72 LPA, which is off campus. The average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package offered on campus is 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good. Every classroom has a good quantity of fans. Every lab has ACs. The quality of the mess food is very bad, and sometimes, we can't eat that food. The taste is very bad. Sports facilities are very active in the hostel. We have a sports teacher who supports us a lot.
Faculty: Faculty members of the basic science department are good. They have excellent experience in their field. If we are in the first year, then we have all subjects which are not much relevant to our branch, but when we jump to the second year, then we have only subjects which will be helpful for our course.
Other: I chose this course because I got a low percentage in JEE. If students have to take admission and don't have another option, then they can get admission here.

It is one of the top 2 colleges of Bhopal in B.Tech.
Placements: I am a student of B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering in the OIST branch. Placements are almost good. 70 to 75 percent students get placements. The average package is 5 LPA, and the highest package of our college is 72 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is well-maintained with modern classrooms and labs. Hostels are decent and provide basic facilities. The mess food is not up to the mark in terms of quality and taste. Improvement in mess services is needed for a better hostel experience.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, making concepts easy to understand. The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both theory and practical topics. Exams are conducted regularly and fairly, helping students stay consistent in their studies and assess their progress effectively. My college faculty members are very good and their explanations are very easy.

Placement drive All the 4th year seniors had been placed at good average package of 6-7 Lacs per annum at my opinion its a good package .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is soo good and much better than other colleges. There are many labs and experiential rooms all over there are 2 grounds and 2 Seminar halls which are air conditioned and all over infrastructure is soo good and I loved it and also my college having many sitting areas park which I love .
Faculty: The faculty of our branch is good and average for a student and all the teachers are very good all the teachers are very good and intelligent they know how to teach students especially our Maths teacher he is so intelligent and good tutor I love their teaching .
Other: Yes my college is having many fests back to back and many Tedx shows also .

Honest review of my college.
Placements: 30% of students get placed in higher packages and others in sales companies with average pay. The highest was 8 LPA and the lowest was 25,000. Top companies are TCS, Cognizant, and many more. I have not heard of anyone getting an internship; it’s up to you how you get an internship on your own.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good but there is no Wi-Fi, and sometimes there is a jammer during exams. There is a library with good books. In the hostel, there is Wi-Fi that starts at 6 PM. The mess food is not at all good, and sometimes insects are found. There are no sports activities that involve every student; only a few students who play are invited to play.
Faculty: There is no interactive teaching. The teachers just come and teach what they have prepared, and there are no industry-related topics. The exams are not that tough, but I’m in the 3rd year and still figuring out how the marking system works because the copy-checking system is always really crazy. In my first exam, I got 14 marks, but when it was rechecked, I got a B+.
Other: I chose this branch because I thought ECE was a practical branch, but there is no such thing in college.

Absolutely not satisfied because of many bad rules and regulations of the college.
Placements: Almost 70 percentage of students will be placed in good companies from my course. The highest package offered by MNC companies is above 12 Lacs per annum. Top recruitment companies are TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, etc. The top role offered by companies is Associate Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Yes, our college does provide better facilities such as Wi-Fi inside the college, ideal labs, and classrooms with enough space. It also has a central library for students with more than 5000 books, and medical facilities are also available in our college. Sports and games are physical activities of our college.
Faculty: Yes, many teachers of my college are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified from good universities. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. Semester examination is not so difficult, but it has a good level of hard studies. The minimum pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in electronics.

Good campus and education, and it is getting better.
Placements: The companies that visit our college for recruitments include TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The average package in our course ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA, but so far the highest package bagged by our alumni is 70 LPA, offered by Amazon. If we talk about our department, on average, 85–90% of students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our institution are good. The classrooms are average but the other facilities, like the library, labs, etc., are quite good. Also, the mess and canteen provide good and hygienic food. There is a large library also with good books.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college, especially in our department, are really experienced and truly helpful. They are easily approachable for any queries or discussion. The curriculum is average but the exam conducting is very nice; there is no leniency. There are 2 midterm exams conducted in every semester before the endterm exams and they are equally important as the endterm exams.
Other: The course that I am pursuing is B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering. This is a fast-growing field in today's time and has a lot of scope in the future, as the semiconductor industries are coming up. The only thing that could be improved in my course is that the curriculum can be updated according to the latest trends in technology. If we talk about the extracurricular activities, there are festivals organized regularly. There is a good opportunity for students to connect with people and grow. Students can also take part in various college clubs, like the Social Action Club (SAC) .
