An enjoyable college experience, but there are no placements.
Placements: Students from the mechanical engineering stream cannot expect placements from this college. The companies that visit for placements are related to software and information science stream. Core companies hardly visit; maybe 1 or 2 companies might visit. The college placement department is not that well developed for mechanical engineering stream.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. The laboratories are well-maintained and equipped. Classrooms have basic facilities, and the canteen serves all varieties of food from fast food to traditional meals. A general store is also available inside the campus. One bank and two ATMs are also available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are available for all subjects, and they are knowledgeable. Experienced faculty members are also available. Conventional, as well as smart class teaching methods, are used for teaching. Industrial internships were not available during our time, but they do have internship programs.
Other: The college fests are funded by students. The sports day event takes place every year, and the college football team won many trophies. The large campus is crowded by students.

Satisfied faculty, average placement in 2015, but good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 45% of the placements were in core companies and 25-30% in IT sectors. The highest salary offered was 22000 per month that too in IT, when we talk about the core that is only 10500 Rs per month max. There is no internship offered. We do have a placement cell it works hard to make the students place in any company.
Infrastructure: The college has all type of lab facilities, no lag on that. The management entertains all indoor and outdoor door games. The food is ordered on the contract bases, and the quality of food is worth for money. The hostel rooms are not bad, but okay. The hostel rooms are small, simple and good. The food provided in hostels is not good. There are no complaints. The infrastructure of the college is awesome you get all the amenities on the premises.
Faculty: All the teachers were qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. The teaching methods are in both theory and practicals. 4:1 is the staff-student ratio. You get 1 single staff for every 4 students, which is a welcome to the new students. All the subjects were industrial exposed. You get industrial visits every year which is mandatory. And in the request, you get it in every semester. You get chance to speak with industrialist in the conferences, seminars and other means. The course curriculum is useful and experimental.
Other: You get to enjoy cultural events, dance, songs, DJ, drama, open dance. We can be connected to all the social media. You get both scholarships, i.e., scholarships provided by the government and the management also.

I am very happy to select this college because its environment is very super.
Placements: My batch is fantastic, but according to placements, only 60% of students got placed in various companies like HCL, Bonfiglioli, and some respected companies with a minimum package of 2 LPA. Many students are placed in roles like design engineers and quality engineers.
Infrastructure: There is a common library. It has a separate library for our mechanical department with all kinds of books related to mechanical and placements. It also has a separate Wi-Fi for our department. The hostel has a good environment. It is surrounded by trees with good and tasty food. In sports, there is a good scope.
Faculty: This institution has PhD faculty members with good teaching experience. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage of the overall college is above 80%. It conducts special classes to train for placements and teach coding by experts.
Other: I like the mechanical course, so I chose to study mechanical engineering, and now to adding current trending mechanisms. Here, it yearly conducts cultural events, the Pongal festival, annual day, and sports day with fun activities. Here, all government scholarships are available.

P.A.college of engineering and technology review.
Placements: The placements offered were good for our batch. Almost 90% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was 6.5 lacs per annum and the lowest being 1.5 lacs per annum and the average salary offered is 2.75 lacs per annum. For the mechanical department, we had the placements from almost 12 companies (3 IT and 9 core companies). About 20% percent of the students got an internship and the highest stipend offered was 15 thousand per month and the average offered is 12 thousand per month and the lowest being 6 thousand per month.
Infrastructure: The main block of the college has a significant attraction. Wi-Fi and the library were good. Not a very good atmosphere if you need to excel in the sports. The quality of the labs, classrooms and the food offered in the canteen are average. The hostel rooms are just okay. The ventilation in the labs and the classrooms have to be improved (it would be better if air-conditioners are provided in these rooms). Still, they use old design software in design labs which have to be updated.
Faculty: The faculty members here are good. But the management needs to recruit the skilled faculty members. Some of the faculty members interactively take classes but some don't. The student-faculty ratio is 8:1. You can get an average industry exposure. They keep frequent tests so if you are a guy who needs to learn in depth of the subjects this college is for you. The management will provide you scholarships if you have scored a good percentage in you 12th board exam.
Other: Apart from this, they conduct an intra-college symposium, and the faculty members here encourage the students to participate in the inter-college symposium and paper presentations. More than everything I got great friends here which is more important than anything.

Other: My college was located at a very good location. The education is good in the college but the teaching method needs to be improved and good books need to be provided here. The placements are not up to the mark and good companies are not coming for the recruitments. The mechanical department is good in the college with good laboratories and staff members' culture, but the placements need to be improved in the mechanical stream.
