Good college and good environment.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, and TCS. The top roles are marketing manager and Human resources. Around 65% of students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is nice. The classrooms are in good condition, and the labs are well-equipped. Many books are available in the library. The Wi-Fi facility is good. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is good. The canteen is also available. The sports facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The teachers are very helpful. They have 6 to 8 years of experience, and they have good knowledge. They are very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. The semester exams are difficult and the pass percentage is 70%.

The overall college has been good in placements for the past 2 years.
Placements: 98% of students from the batch 2021-2024 got placed in different companies. The highest package offered is 28 LPA, and the minimum package offered is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Capgemini, TCS, etc. The top roles are offered in the field of software development, testing field, etc.
Infrastructure: In the college, there are facilities like an idea lab where we can do our project presentation and make projects. Two libraries are present in the college. Three mess facilities are present here. Our college gives more importance to sports quota students. Medical facilities are awesome here.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching qualities are good and not so bad. Semester exams are quite moderate. The pass percentage is 50% and the internal marks pass percentage is also 50%. They will combine the internal and assessment marks in the semester paper.

Insider's insights and life at Panimalar Engineering College.
Placements: For the ECE department, most of the students are placed in tech-based companies. Only 4-5 core companies come to college during placement season. That's why core students have to get into tech to get placed. College has partnered up with Q-Spider Training Academy to help with skills and placement. The highest package for the AY24 was 27 LPA, bagged by a student in the AIDS department, which was offered by JustPay. The average package is 3-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Hexaware, Amazon, Flextronics, etc., recruit students from Panimalar.
Infrastructure: Panimalar has a lush green campus, which gives a serene vibe. Most of the classrooms are breezy. Every department has its own library, where all the course-relevant books are found. Apart from that, there's a central library and a digital library too. Hostels have a gym, a ground, and even a parlour to get haircuts. A room can accommodate 4 students. However, it's strict, as no phones are allowed and laptops can be used limited extent. The hostel food is average, not good, and not bad. Students aren't allowed to go off campus without guardians or parents.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are approachable and friendly. But some definitely lack the skill to teach or handle the class. There are two internal exams per semester and a final end semester exam to wrap it up. The pass percentage is 50%, which is easy to score, as we are provided with resources to study for the exam. However, we lack a bit of practical knowledge, and it feels more like rote learning.
Other: The campus is strict, with no usage of mobile phones or gadgets, and a strict dress code, Alwar for girls and formal pants and shirts for boys, no black-on-black outfit is allowed. There's no canteen in the college, and students have to eat lunch in the college mess. The college organizes a symposium every year, where students can make projects or posters. I wish the college would focus more on practical knowledge than on the usual rote learning.

Good placements in college.
Placements: In my passing-out batch, nearly 85% of students got placed from our course. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, the lowest is around 3.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 6.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, and Capgemini. Around 70% of students also secured internships in reputed firms like Amazon, HCL, Zoho, and Tech Mahindra, which help them gain practical exposure. The most common roles offered in our course are software developer, data analyst, business analyst, and quality assurance engineer, along with a few positions in consulting and product-based companies.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced computer labs, and a well-stocked library that supports both academics and research. The hostel facilities are decent, providing clean rooms, study space, and 24/7 water and electricity. The mess and canteen offer hygienic food with multiple options, though the variety could improve. Students also have access to medical facilities with regular check-ups and emergency support. For recreation, the campus encourages fitness and teamwork through sports grounds, indoor games, and gym facilities, creating a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are helpful, approachable, and highly qualified, with strong subject knowledge that makes learning easier. The teaching quality was good, as most of them used practical examples along with theory. The course curriculum is well-structured and relevant, covering both core concepts and industry trends, which helps students become job-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study rather than last-minute preparation. The pass percentage is usually above 90%, as students who attend classes regularly and practice previous papers find it manageable to clear.
Other: I was part of the Computer Science and Engineering batch of 2023. I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology, coding, and problem-solving, and I wanted to build a career in IT. The best things about the course were the updated curriculum, supportive faculty, and exposure to projects, internships, and placement opportunities. However, I feel that more focus on practical sessions, industry collaborations, and advanced tools would make the course even better. Our college also had an active and vibrant campus life with technical fests, cultural events, and hackathons that gave us a platform to showcase our skills.

Review of Panimalar Engineering College.
Placements: Placements in our college are excellent, and every year, more than 90% of students are getting placed. Training provided by the management is excellent and efficient, students benefit from the training. Top organizations like CTS, Hexaware, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc., come for hiring, and students get hired for both IT and core engineering fields.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are very well-equipped with high-end technologies and smart rooms. Many AV halls and seminar halls are available for every department. Many labs are available for every department. Libraries are also available for each and every department in addition to the two central libraries. We have a separate mess for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Hostels are provided with facilities like a gym, sports, smart, etc.
Faculty: Almost all teachers from our college are Ph.D. graduates, and their style of teaching is very efficient. Teachers teach the concepts in a very easy manner, making it easy to remember the concepts very well. The curriculum is well updated to the current industry standards for every department. Semester exams are pretty easy because of the excellent teaching by staff, and students can score more than 80% in all exams.
Other: The rules in our college are strict. But there are a lot of good things about the campus. Many scholarships are provided for students, and free Wi-Fi is available. Our college supports sports as well as academics equally. Our campus is very green, surrounded by lots of trees. The environment is very blissful.

Good infrastructure and college.
Placements: The placement opportunities are average when compared to other college. The average salary package is around 4 LPA. The highest salary package is around 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Raunaq Foundations, Infra Market, etc. The roles offered by these companies were Trainee engineer and Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: The college has all adequate facilities. The department blocks have all facilities. The laboratories are quite old. The library was good and it has good internet speed. The hostel has all necessary facilities. There were around 200 rooms in a hostel block. The food quality was also very good.
Faculty: The staffs are good. They were well talented. They help the students gain knowledge in the subject. The course curriculum was relevant to the field. They conduct 8 semesters for the whole course as per Anna University. The semester exams were easy if we studied.
