Balanced college life with decent placements and scope for self-improvement.

Placements: I belong to the ECE batch. Around 65-75 percent of students from our college got placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest is about 2.5 LPA, and the average package stood at nearly 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and a few more. Nearly 50-60 percent of the students were able to secure internships mainly through off-campus efforts and platforms like Internshala. The placements are decent but students need to put extra effort to get higher packages.

Infrastructure: The college provides decent infrastructure for the ECE department with well-equipped labs and smart classes. The library has a good collection of academic books useful for both exams and projects. Hostel facilities are manageable with basic amenities like clean rooms, water supply, and security. The mess food is average and can improve in taste and variety. Medical facilities need to be improved. The infrastructure is good but not exceptional.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and have good subject knowledge. They are helpful when approached especially during lab sessions and project work. Teaching quality varies between staff but overall, it is understandable. Semester exams are moderately difficult and students who prepare regularly can pass without much stress. The pass percentage is generally above 80-85 percent.

Other: I feel that more practical exposure and industry collaborations would improve the course further. Workshops, internships, and an updated syllabus can make students more industry-ready.

College is good for placements.

Placements: Nearly 90 percent of the students got placed. The average package is up to 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. The college is also providing placement training. Qspiders are the ones who are training the students for placements from the first year itself. We gain knowledge in English, Java, Python, etc.

Infrastructure: The lab facility is moderate. Most of the labs for 1st year and 2nd-year students are bad. Panimalar Idea Lab and Panimalar Research Centre are absolutely nice. These two labs are equipped with an iMac and advanced intel processors. So labs are good for final year and 3rd year students.

Faculty: Some teachers are supportive and some have minimal knowledge. We should get 50 percent to get a passing mark and it's not difficult to get a passing mark. Internal exams are easier and you should follow only the question bank. If you go through the question bank then you can easily get the passing mark.

Other: I chose CSE because software engineers are the highest-paid engineers. Panimalar has very few cultural events and extracurricular activities.

Panimalar Engineering College review.

Placements: There were 80 percent of students who got placed and the highest was 10 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiters were Zoho and Google. 60% of students got internships and the roles offered were developer roles. The placement was very good and the teaching was very nice.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library were very neat and very useful. The hostel provided good food which was freshly made, and the wardens were also friendly. There were sports activities in the college to maintain physical practice.

Faculty: The teachers were super supportive, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The organization's teaching made students industry-ready. The semester exams were easy if we focused on main topics and mathematical skills. It was the best college to gain knowledge.

Other: Today’s world was full of technology, so I chose the Computer Science Engineering course. Practical learning could be concentrated more than theory. Events were more often in Rajalakshmi Engineering College.

Placements: Panimalar Engineering College is situated in Chennai. There are many facilities available in this college. Mostly, this college places 70% of students. There are many well-known technical and non-technical companies that visit this college every year for placement purposes. The highest package offered is 60 LPA. and the lowest package offered is 7 LPA. At least 60% is required for internship purposes. Many roles are offered through this course, such as Software Developer and Technical Analyst.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this course is very good and best for students. Many good facilities provided by this college, such as 24/7 Wi-Fi. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The library provides all kinds of books and novels so students can easily do their studies. There are many hostels available for students, so they live together with love and happiness. Medical facilities are for both students and faculty.

This college is not suitable for a person who enjoys their college life.

Placements: The percentage of students in our course is good. I do not know the highest and lowest packages, but the average package is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies for our course include Infosys, etc. The roles offered through our course are in semiconductor and networking, etc.

Infrastructure: We have lab, classroom, and library facilities, and they are good in our department. The college space is neat and environment-friendly. We have Wi-Fi in the college, but students cannot use it. We only have a mess, not a canteen, and we also have medical and sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in qualifying exams by sharing their knowledge and teaching quality. Most of them are qualified with a minimum of a PG degree, and some have a Ph.D. The topics are relevant to the course curriculum, and they make us ready for the industry. However, the exams are easy, so the pass percentage is higher.

Other: In this course, we go through both software and hardware. I have an interest in semiconductor fields; that is why I chose this course. From the beginning, I have improved my skills through this course. No events happen in the college.

Good placement but college life a bit not enjoyable.

Placements: 2 LPA is the lowest, and 18 LPA is the maximum for placement. TCS and other well-known companies are recruiting. A minimum 7 GPA is needed for a good placement. Top roles are unknown, but for our seniors, they started that it will be good roles in many well-known companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are in perfect condition. The quality of food is also good. Sports is a big question mark, but there is a sports team for our college, only for sports quota students. Facilities are good, classrooms are clean, but sports is a big problem.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, and it seems likely that students are ready for the industry as they have many courses like AI courses and more paper-based subjects. 50 percent is the pass mark. It is not very difficult but challenging.

Other: The campus is a bit strict, and events are rarely conducted compared to previous batches. Now events are conducted, so it is better. Scholarships are available and real.

Good infrastructure and learning environment with improved placements for AI & data science.

Placements: 80 percent of students from our department get placed. The highest package offered is 28 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top companies like TCS, CTS Hexaware, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL hire students. Internships are not offered by the college as we want to try by ourselves. Top roles offered are data scientist, stack developer, and software engineer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained neatly and cleaned every day. Wi-Fi is available. Food is perfect. Sports are not that much encouraged. Medical facilities are wonderful. But the phone tower is slow based on the network. The hostel has very good quality food. Rooms and toilets are well-maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have good knowledge. They are friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is based on old regulations. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study. The pass percentage is 80-90 percent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because of government counselling. Many events are organised here, and students can showcase their talents.
