The college has good placements, infrastructure, facilities, and interactive faculty members.
Placements:
About 90% or above placement opportunities in my college, with the lowest package being 3.5 LPA and the highest being 10 LPA in 2025. Top companies like IBM, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, etc., visit the campus. Some startups also visit, and some of them were started by our seniors.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and the hostel facility is also good. The canteen, health care center, and sports room are well maintained. The cleanliness maintained by the canteen is impressive, and we even receive medical help from the health care center.
Faculty: All the teaching staff are helpful and highly qualified. The semester exams are difficult, but we give our best with the help and guidance of teachers. The minimum passing mark is 40. The way the exams are conducted is good, and the evaluation done by teachers is very nice.
Other: I choose this course because I am interested in it. The best thing about this course is that I get to learn so much, and all the extracurricular activities are conducted in the college.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Placements were average in our college. The salary packages were good. There were many top companies that visit our college to hire students like Cognizant and Accenture. Many roles were offered in this course.
Infrastructure: Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. It also provides a library. Laboratories were good. Classrooms were average. The food served in the hostel was good. The canteen was decent.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. Semester exams were not difficult. The pass percentage was good.

I am kinda satisfied and not satisfied at the same time with my college.
Placements: 10% of my course were placed, 5% were placed at training institute. The highest package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest package was 1.2 LPA. Average package offered was around 2.6 LPA. Top recruiting company for the course was crimson logic, global edge.
Infrastructure: Department had old but working instruments, later new equipments were bought, juniors got the opportunity. Library had variety of books but the copies were less due to which only few got the books. I was a localite so I don't know much about hostel.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching was good. Course curriculum was relevant, back then didn't realise it though but now I feel atleast it helps you for the industrial basic requirements. But the students have to study different skills for clearing interview.
Other: Because I wanted to go for a tough course, and I got to know EC is tough enough so I chose it. Best thing would be, I could get into semiconductor industry. Fest was pretty good when compared to others colleges around. Scholarship was provided if you apply for it.

Our college is good but not the best.
Placements: In the year 2018, only 1% of the students from our course got placed with the average salary package of 3 LPA in companies like Global Edge Software Limited, etc. Every year around 2%-3% of the students get internships from PDA college. Roles offered here will be junior software engineers.
Infrastructure: Benches and boards are manageable here, but you get the worst Wi-Fi facility. However, there is a well-organised library, and you can get one of the worst hostels here. However, our college provides good food for hostellers, but the culture they follow is not good. Some labs are outdated, while some are well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and are always supportive. To make the students ready for industries, they have to teach whatever needed in the industry. But the syllabus is not as per the industry needs. If they provide some references to students, then it may be helpful in their career.
Other: I suggest you to join in any other college. This college is good, but there are better colleges than PDA.

The technical placements in the college are not at all good.
Placements: My batch was the last batch in which only a few companies came for campus placements, out of which Infosys and MindTree were the mass recruiters. The companies like Global Edge, Ultratech, Chettinad Cement, and Jaypee Cement hired 2-4 resources. We had a good placement training from Ethnus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not great. It's the best compared to what we pay a fee. The fee was minimal and was Rs. 10,000 per year. The buildings are old with the cool climate all over the campus. The campus has a huge library with good collection of books.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are good. A few of the lecturers are from IIT, and the rest are from management quota, coming specifically to electronics and communications branch. A few lecturers are talented, whose focus is on quality education rather than pushing students just to pass. The course needs to be enhanced according to the industry standards.

Our college is one of the best colleges in our state, which has a good infrastructure and teaching.
Placements: Most of the placements in our college are from ECE, CS and IS departments. Nearly 60 to 70 students are placed every year. The average package is 3 LPA. The job roles offered are of a software engineer. Compared to CS department, ECE students placed are more in number. No company comes for offering internship in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi facility. There are no medical facilities in our college. We have a canteen the food of which can be given a rating of 3 out of 5. There is a lot of greenery in our college. And since our college was started in 1958, we have old buildings but the classrooms are very comfortable. The lab equipment is not in a good condition. Library facility is good.
Faculty: Our ECE department has very experienced faculty members.
Most of them have completed their graduation from IITs. All the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Classroom teaching was only teaching method. Our ECE branch has a total of 30 faculty members. The course curriculum was not useful. We did not get industry exposure.

Not satisfied with the college, faculty, curriculum and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are not so good.
Only 20 got selected out of 120 students.
Only 3 companies visited our campus.
The highest salary offered is 3 lakhs per year and the minimum is 2.5 lakhs per year.
The companies that visited are CGI Technologies, Mind Tree, Global Edge. There is no internship given to students in the college.
Infrastructure: Low-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is available in the campus. The infrastructure of the college is very bad. Lab instruments and equipment do not work properly.
Poor food is available in the canteen.
Very old and dirty hostel.
We faced many infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The faculty is having a rude behaviour.
The faculty members were not helpful.
some of them are not qualified at all.
Conventional teaching methods are used.
The student to faculty ratio is 30:1
The course curriculum is not at all useful.
The syllabus is not at all updated. The college is following old syllabus pattern.
Other: The college was established a long time ago i.e. in 1958 and the buildings are very old. They are not renovated and the staff is very rude with the students. They are not at all cooperative. The college fee is very high. They take excess amount of fee for examination and infrastructure. Sports and cultural activities are very poor on the campus.
