Our college provides decent infrastructure, teachers, and placements.
Placements: Almost 70-75% of students got placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: It is one of the oldest government colleges in Karnataka, with decent infrastructure. All facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is decent. Mess is also available. There is a hospital on our campus. Sports are conducted in this college.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. Semester exams are hard. If we study properly, we can score good marks. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

I am satisfied with everything considering it as a government college.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students get jobs in every output batch with salary packages starting from 7 LPA to 10 LPA in the top leading companies. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit the campus. Almost 40% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: UBDT College of Engineering has the best infrastructure when comes to students' facilities like labs, library, internet center, etc. The hostel infrastructure is average, and food quality is above average. The fee charges are very low.
Faculty: Teachers are almost Ph.D. holders and are highly experienced. Some teachers and guest lecturers are not so good. Teaching quality is above average This course doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

A review of University BDT College of Engineering.
Placements: Our college provides most of the placement opportunities to the students of the computer science branch. Only a few core companies visit the campus to hire the students of our branch. However, this year, placements for our branch are better than any other branch. But the salary packages offered are low. However, I can assure you that the salary packages will be updated every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our branch is quite good. We have good lab equipment, and we are offered some good facilities. But our college canteen is not in good condition. I can say that the infrastructure is quite good except for the canteen. Even our library is good, and it is providing 5 issue cards to the students who belong to SC and ST communities.
Faculty: Faculty members in our branch are highly qualified and have in-depth knowledge. They help us clear our doubts. Our course curriculum is designed by Viswesvarayya Technological University. They are just teaching us the same syllabus even though it is outdated. VTU is the worst university.
Other: They didn't organise the fest last year due to some internal issues. Scholarships are provided properly. They don't give any importance to extracurricular activities.

Satisfied with the faculty and placement opportunities.
Placements: Many people told that in the college there no placement opportunities when I was in 12th. It is obviously true when I was in 1st and 2nd year, but some of the companies will visit and hire. Now I'm in final year we are getting most of the companies, and I got placed too in an esteemed software company. When compared to our seniors we are getting lots of companies through our placement officer. The placement officer is working hard to ensure 100% placements in the college, and it is possible as 4 to 5 companies have visited the college, and many of my friends also selected. Still, there are plenty of companies coming to the college because of the placement officer. So, I hope there will be no problem in placement opportunities for the upcoming juniors of the college.
Infrastructure: The college was established in the year 1951 it is a very old college, but the infrastructure is good. The buildings are old that's what I can say, but there is no problem for classes every branch has as many seats as required and infrastructure is good in spite that it is old. The college also has library facility as well as reading room is good for the students.
Faculty: As I am electronics student, in view of the branch faculty members are good and knowledgeable except 2 or 3 lecturers rest are very friendly and can teach the students well. They also help us if we require any books. Some are very strict regarding attendance, and some are liberal in the way they teach is all that matters. The students got excellent, talented teaching faculty that's all I can say in the college.
Other: Since it is a government college, the scholarship facilities are available for the students. The college fee which we pay is hardly Rs 5,000, and it will be refunded if the student is good in the curriculum and scores distinction.

Other: This is the second oldest college in Karnataka. The infrastructure has improved a lot compared to my days of learning and the university too has been changed to VTU. During Kuvempu University days the evaluation of papers was very strict and the lecturers knew almost everybody`s handwriting. There are few exceptional, learned and practically experienced lecturers in E&C; some of them are JPD, Geetha.
The college canteen is average and we avoided it many times. The atmosphere is not the "Showoff" kind where rich kids come to display their wealth and roam with girls. If you can manage yourself with little help and without the stardom or richness around, then this college is the one you should consider.

My Journey in Engeeniring Course.
Placements: Approximately 80-85% of students were placed in my course. The minimum package offered By My Course Is 50000. The maximum package Is 1,50000. 80% of students got internships in my course. Maximum in Infosys, Google, Wipro, and more Information Technology And Companies Outside countries offer good Package and an internship in this college.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi And Network Connection. The lab is very good. The classroom Is properly ventilated and a very good quality of food is available in the canteen. All medical and sports facilities are available in my hostel.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable with excellent teaching quality. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 33%. Teachers help us In Every Situation And are Very Friendly With All Students. The student's ratio is also good and net attendance Ratio Is Very Well That Time.

It is a good college among all the government colleges in Karnataka.
Placements: Staring from 5000 CET rank to 2500 CET rank holders join this college. It is a constituent college of VTU, so all the facilities are provided by VTU and Karnataka government.
Infrastructure: It is a good college. It provides huge ground to play. It also provides a gym, volleyball and basketball courts for students. The college provides a huge library and good labs. The canteen serves food at an affordable price. The college provides different buildings for different departments.
Faculty: The college is good and helpful to poor students. Maximum of 3 modules are taught out of 5, but in the physics and chemistry departments for 1st-year basic knowledge is very good. They teach very well, and labs are conducted regularly. It is a very strict college. The permanent faculty members get 1 lac to 1.5 lac per month. Guest lecturers from Wipro and others are offered Rs. 25,000.
Other: Chaitra named fest is organised at our college. All the branches organise their separate technical fest like Tesla, Tech, etc.

Review of University BDT College of Engineering.
Placements: Placement rate is a little less. Only Mindtree and BEL visit our college for placements. Our college is trying hard to invite more companies to help students. Placements information will be circulated as soon as it comes so that students can avail that opportunity. At our time, an internship was not compulsorily, but our college encouraged some of the students to take part in different workshops and company visits. Our current placement officer is trying so hard to invite more companies. Among the students who participated in above-mentioned companies, only 20% of the students got selected.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-equipped labs and computer centre, which will help students to explore technology. Classrooms are good, and the entire environment is pleasant. Our college provides a huge library, digital library and reading hall, which is available for more than 10 hours a day. The canteen is small. Quality of food served in the canteen is very good and affordable. Volleyball court, badminton court and indoor games are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good lecturers. They are PhD holders. Their way of teaching is good. The syllabus is slightly old, and students might not get complete benefits out of it. VTU has to change the course curriculum so that current technologies should be thought. The course and programme outcomes should be clearly mentioned. They should support students to do an internship.
Other: One of the good cultures of UBDT is the celebration of Chaitra, which is an annual function conducted by the students union.
