Pearl Academy is an autonomous institute. The certificate courses offered by the academy are validated by IED - Instituto Europeo di Design Milan. Thus, certificates issued by the Pearl Academy Mumbai are accepted almost everywhere.

From 2024, the academy will give out UG/PG degrees enabled by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, which is an institute of national importance.

Pearl Academy admission is conducted in two stages. Given below is the detailed Pearl Academy entrance exam pattern:

Step 1: Written Admission Test GPT, DAT Step 2: General Proficiency Test (GPT) evaluates a candidate's proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. Step 3: Design Aptitude Test (DAT) evaluates a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Step 4: Personal Interview (including portfolio evaluation / material handling skill test for Design streams). Step 5: All candidates are required to undergo a Personal Interview after the Written Admission Test at their respective Entrance Examination center /Personal Interview center's mentioned on their Admit Card. Step 6: Applicants may apply for any or multiple admission cycle simultaneously by applying separately by filling a fresh application form for each cycle.

Pearl Academy offer scholarships to encourage students. The Who's Next Scholarship provides the most innovative brains from India with up to 100% funding. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. To be considered for this scholarship, a student must have applied for admission to undergraduate and graduate programmes, taken the Pearl Academy entrance test, and met the requirements.

Candidate must have qualified for the Pearl Academy Entrance Exam. The aspirant must complete Class 12 by July 2024 and they should be a resident of India. Applicants will be offered the Scholarship based on their performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam which includes a Written Exam & Personal Interview.

Aspirants need to go through an interview round for admission to a certificate course at Pearl Academy Mumbai. The academy selects students who meet the eligibility criteria, i.e., are class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board and of at least 17 years of age.

Pearl Academy Mumbai admissions are entrance-based. Candidates must clear the Pearl Entrance Exam, which includes the General Proficiency Test (GPT) | Design Aptitude Test (DAT) | Personal Interview & Portfolio Showcase to get selected. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the official website of the college. Then, click on the Apply Now tab. Then, select the required course. Then, pay the application fee before the last date of application. In the end, fill out and submit the application form with required information.

The fees for BDes programme range between INR 7.6 lakh - INR 30.5 lakh. The institute also provides professional Certificate programme and the fees range between INR 53,100 - INR 3 lakh. Please note that the tuition fees mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

Pearl Academy 2024 entrance exam has the folliing sub-exams - General Proficiency Test (GPT), Design Aptitude Test (DAT), and the Media Aptitude Test (MAT). Candidates are required to take each test to get selected for admission. The entrance examination is conducted in online mode. 

Pearl Academy 2024 exam for the January Cycle was conducted on January 27-28, 2024. The entrance exam dates for the April session are out. Last date to apply is Apr 20. The entrance exam for April session is scheduled from Apr 23 to Apr 24.
