The Poornima Group of Colleges (PGC) includes Poornima College of Engineering. It was started in Jaipur in 2000. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted it accreditation, and it is connected with Rajasthan Technical University. Out of 116 ITS Colleges, it was ranked number two by RTU in 2020.

Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Information Technology (IT) are the six engineering specialisations offered by the college as part of their BTech degree. In addition, it provides Value Added Programmes in association with IBM. The college offers a BTech programme in various branches including  Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). Admission to BTech programme is entrance-based. Final admission is based on entrance exam JEE main and REAP counselling process. 

Poornima College of Engineering, part of the Poornima Group of Colleges, does not have B.Tech cutoffs because it bases admission on entrance tests like the JEE and REAP. If there are adequate seats available, the college may also offer admission based on 12th-grade scores under the management quota.

The eligibility criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is a passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are drained.
