The application fee for all the courses is INR 1,000 for the general category and for the SC/ST candidates it is Rs 800 (except for MD/MCh which is Rs 1000 for all the categories). Yes admissions are merit-based, but the merit is defined by the entrance test performance (INI-CET) rather than college grades or aggregate marks alone.
You must qualify and rank well in INI-CET to be competitive for PGIMER seats.

No, if you have participated in the PGIMER nursing Round 1 counselling, you will not be able to participate in round-2 counselling. Only those candidates will be able to carry forward the counselling process who did not wish to accept the seat offered in round-1.
