It is a great campus life, but it needs updating.
Placements: 75% of students from my course have been recently placed. I think the highest package offered is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, HDFC, ICICI, PwC, etc. Over 70% of students get internships, with companies also Teah Mahindra, HDFC, Axis Bank, etc. Top roles offered are chartered accountant, investment banker, financial analyst, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The course/department has access to well-equipped classrooms with Wi-Fi and projectors, computer labs with ample systems, a library, and tutorial rooms for faculty-student interaction. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, including labs and the library. Hostel facilities, food quality, medical services, and sports/games offerings vary widely by institution. Some colleges provide excellent infrastructure, well-maintained labs and classrooms, and a variety of food options in their canteens and messes.
Faculty: In general, the quality of teaching, teacher qualifications, and curriculum relevance can vary. Some teachers may be very helpful and knowledgeable, while others may not be as effective. The curriculum relevance and ability to prepare students for the industry also depend on the specific course and institution. Semester exams can range in difficulty, and the pass percentage can vary.
Other: I am a student from the 2023-2026 Commerce batch. I chose this course because of my interest in business, finance and economics aiming to build a strong foundation for a corporate or entrepreneurial career. The best aspects include practical subjects like accounting, marketing and business law. However, the course could improve with more industry exposure and skill-based workshops. The campus hosts vibrant fests and events, with a friendly and diverse crowd. It's well-connected and located in a lively area with good surroundings. Scholarships are available for meritorious students, and various extracurricular activities and clubs help in overall personality development.

Good placements in 2022 and really good infrastructure.
Placements: There is a good percentage of placements that are given from my college. The highest salary offered is about 9 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are wipro, private and government banks, etc. All the students got placed from our college. Role offered is of tax consultant.
Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi in our college or rather labs for our particular course but there are spacious and airy classrooms with smart boards and rooms which are well maintained and cleaned. We also have a good library with a vast variety of books. The canteen is also a good one.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great. The course is very curriculum relevant. It really makes the students industry ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is merely difficult but also challenging.

Awesome experience on this campus, good placement, and really good facilities were provided.
Placements: The percentage of a student placed in this could be 80%, apart from me there were other 30 people in the course. If students were good academically they were placed for an internship as well as they will be able to get good placement opportunities. Many opportunities were provided to the students who would complete the Master's course along with this.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was brilliant. There were labs for science and computer students and the classrooms were huge. Excellent facilities were available to us regarding food options in the canteen, and medical facilities were also provided. There were other opportunities for sports and games as well.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well qualified and their teaching pattern was great. The B.Com course which I pursued was an excellent choice to start an education journey after that you can take up any other courses to go ahead. The exams which took place during our semester were not that difficult, they helped us to get ready for the upcoming big exams and the passing percentage was really good.
Other: I chose this specific course because I was interested in pursuing accounts and finance. I don't think I would want to change my experience on this campus.

The college environment is good for study.
Placements: To get an internship, one should have 80-90% of marks. The highest and the lowest packages offered are 16 LPA and 10 LPA, respectively.
Infrastructure: Sports and games are available. Medical facilities are available. A canteen is available. Food quality is good. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are available for all courses.
Computer labs are also available. The study environment is good.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. They are very knowledgeable. Students are made industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. The teachers maintain good discipline in classrooms. The teachers help all the students when they need. Our principal is good.
Other: I think that connectivity should be improved. Medical facilities should be improved.

It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: About 50% of the students have passed from this course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, State Bank and other several banks. Students are offered with the role of operating in Indian Financial Market. About 45% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Labs and library are available, and Wi-Fi is available at limited data. Quality of facilities available are according to the prescribes courses. Food served in the canteen is also of supreme quality.
Faculty: Teachers in ourcollege were much helpful and qualified. Their knowledge about the subjects is good enough to teach us. Professors are helpful a lot in our course of study. Teaching quality in our college is far better than other NIT colleges which are operating in Kolkata under Calcutta University. The course curriculum is good enough to place a student into a well-established industry.
Other: I have chosen this course because my parents and coaching teachers suggested me to opt for B.Com course. It will pave a path in future for a well-coordinated job. The knowledge about the core subjects like accountancy and costing should be more than other pass subjects as the core subjects will help in getting jobs in the future.

Review of Prafulla Chandra College.
Placements: A very high number of students got placed, a lot of reputed companies visit the campus. Different types of roles are offered to the students depending upon their profile. The college provides a high number of internships, but for that, students have to work very hard.
Infrastructure: The library is the best place in the college. Books ranging from subjects of history to science are available and are updated regularly to help the students. Classrooms are good. Medical facilities are also available. Canteen is also good. Wi-Fi facility is available.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified, sincere, cordial and knowledgeable. They answer every question of the students. The course curriculum is useful and is according to the standards and regulations of CU. The campus has a peaceful environment with no political interference from outside.

Satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty, and facilities expect for placements.
Placements: Our prafulla Chandra College placement cell management is very low. Very least companies visited our college. I cannot see my seniors as an employee of any companies offered by our college placement cell. Very low percentage of the students got placed. The salary offered was RS-10000 to RS15000 per month and account department roles were offered to the students. About 5to12% of the students got an internship from the college. The stipend is not at a good percent, but the college gave concession at huge percent. There is a placement cell, but it is not good, efficient or useful. It needs to improve for company visits of the college.
Infrastructure: There are spacious, airy, and well lit classrooms. The 4-floir building is equipped with adequate furniture and other necessary arrangements fir radio visual presentation. There is a computer center for using requirements of the students. The college has two libraries and another seminar library and there is a rich collection of the books in two libraries and small playground in the college. There are two common rooms available with marble stone for the use of students. A cheap store is offering books at 17%discount. Our college has a huge canteen and serves goods quality foods. There is a Wi-Fi facility. There are purified water and maintained laboratories on every floor. The hostel rooms are air conditions and large. There rich facilities in the hostel. I didn't face any infrastructure related problems during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The teacher's are very. Helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality are very good. The teaching methods are demonstration, communication, participation, learn abilities etc. The students faculty members ratio is 25:1. I didn't get industry exposure. The course curriculum is very useful for the students.
Other: The college organises many events like students union, blood donation camp, fest and green plantation etc. It is a crowded campus, there are is a connectivity to the campus. The scholarship facilities is very well. There are extracurricular activities like for girls NSS, NCC and first aid courses etc.

Can be satisfied with the college
Placements: Companies like Wipro, Philips and many other international companies and news channels like ABN, visit our college for the placements. The salary is around Rs. 10,000 for a starter and after the completion of one year, they will be made permanent.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, there is no space to play on the college premises. The canteen food is unhealthy and is with very high prices. No elevator for students.
Faculty: The teachers are not good at English. Courses offered are B.Com general, B.Com account honours, Marketing honours, B.A. general, B.A. honours and Economical honours. We have a very good principal.
