Review of PSG institute of technology and applied research.
Placements: As companies from various locations keep on visiting our campus for hiring us throughout the year. Depends on our interests and our skills, we got placed in various companies. We have plenty of internship opportunities too. The highest salary package that students got placed in will be 17.5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Roughly 2 to 3 events occur in a year. All these events were conducted to showcase the curricular and extracurricular skills of each and every student. Also, events like hackathons and festivals were conducted at inter-college levels. Also, we have good medical facilities within the college.
Faculty: All the teachers deliver good quality contents in an understandable way. Also, we often went for industrial visits for a better understanding of the practical class. Also, our institute is well known for their academic standards. And our institute has the maximum number of research patents till now.

Really satisfied with the management and faculty of the college.
Placements: Our college focuses on providing best placements and internship opportunities to its students. In computer science engineering, 40–45% of the students are getting successfully placed at this college. 4–8 LPA was the average package offered at our college. Many technical companies visits college for placements for the roles of software engineer, web developers, etc.
Infrastructure: PSG Institute has a good infrastructure for the computer science engineering course. Students were offered all types of facilities. The campus was big and had ample space. Multiple sports facilities were available for the students. A canteen facility was available, which offers good food at an affordable price. A hostel facility was available for the students of the college.
Faculty: Teachers at the college were highly experienced in the teaching field. All the teachers at our college were highly qualified and knowledgeable. They were providing the best-quality education to the students. They were making us understand all the concepts in an easy way. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were not hard to pass.

I am satisfied with the care taken by them towards students.
Placements: Around 95% of students of our college got placed. The highest salary package offered by companies was 13 LPA and the lowest salary package was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Around 65% of students got internships. About 30% of students got internships at Infosys, 10% at Flipkart, and 25% at TCS. The top role offered was data scientist.
Infrastructure: Our college is known for its libraries which consisted of approximately 25,000 books to study and gain knowledge. High-speed Wi-Fi was provided to browse for studies and work easily. Classrooms were high-tech with projectors. We had a separate hostel for boys' and girls' safety. Each room was allotted for 4 students. The food served was top-notch. Medical facilities were provided. Students played games and reached more heights.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly developed with skills and taught students from the basics. The course curriculum was not relevant to the industry but some projects and internships would teach us more than the curriculum. Exams were easy if students understood the topics.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to become a data scientist. They had to encourage students. All other extracurricular activities performed by students made our college days beautiful.

Good Engineering Experience!
Placements: 1. Nearly 85% of students got placed in various firms. 2. The highest salary offered was nearly 3 Lacs. The lowest offered was 27,000. 3. TCS, CTS are the companies that recruits many students from the course. 4. Team head roles were offered. 5. The highest package offered in the course was 35 Lacs per annum and the lowest package offered was 3 Lacs per annum (approximately). 6. Nearly around 30% of the students got internship in various firms.
Infrastructure: 1. The infrastructure of the whole college itself is a beauty. Specifically for the course, there are nearly 6 laboratory such as Mobile and IoT lab, Cisco lab, SAP lab, Cloud lab etc. The classrooms are spacious, neat and provided with smart learning. 2. The most important thing to say is the hostel food. Really, the hostel food is good compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. Hostel is also provided with gym facilities and sports such as badminton, table tennis etc. Good medical care is given.
Faculty: 1. Well knowledge teachers are the main reason for the highest pass percentage in the college. Teachers are very helpful, and also well qualified. Teaching is really good and one can learn a lot other things from teachers. 2. Of-course the course is relevant. This course teaches the student to get ready for their career and they use the knowledge gained from the course subjects that they have learnt. Passing out from the college, the students can make them ready for the industry.
Other: 1. I personally chose the course for the better placements in this course. 2. Nothing of that sort. But I would like to suggest to add some more practical way of learning. 3. Nearly 10-12 major events will be conducted every year.

The infrastructure and facilities are really good.
Placements: The placements for our batch will start from July 2019. Our seniors got placed in various MNCs across the country. The highest package offered is 40 lacs per annum by Microsoft. The lowest package offered is around 2.5 lacs per annum, and the average package is around 6.5 lacs per annum. Students were offered the roles of a software engineer, analyst and R&D engineer. Around 20% of the students got internship offers in many companies. The internship pay scales are yet to be officially announced. The placement cell of our college is a hardworking, student-friendly forum working towards the better being of students for their future.
Infrastructure: The college has state-of-the-art laboratories. Classrooms have smart class equipment. A sophisticated library and fitness centre have been recently inaugurated for the benefits of students. Quality of food in the canteen is satisfactory and affordable. Hostel rooms are well furnished and ventilated. We haven't faced any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The best part of our college is teaching. The faculty have vast experience in various domains of engineering. They always make sure that the course is taught to the students in the best way possible. They are very dedicated and resourceful too. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. PSG Foundry is very close to our campus, and we are fortunate to witness and get information about the process of the industry. Moreover, we are encouraged by the management to have industrial visits every academic year to value the nature and the protocols of various industries. The course curriculum is sufficient to acquire in-depth knowledge of the syllabus.
Other: Advaya is the cultural fest, Sudeva is the sports day, Dakshaha is the annual day, and Yuktaha is a national level technical symposium conducted in the college. The campus has recently won the best green campus award by a prestigious judging panel. The college has about 20 clubs encouraging students to develop and inculcate their hidden talent.
