I am absolutely happy with the college, self-improvement, and confidence.
Placements: Around 80% of the students are placed in my course. The highest package is 40 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. Wipro, all the students get internships in many good industries and factories. The top role offered is a job at BMW for the one studying in my college.
Infrastructure: All the amenities are available in my college. My college is a perfect place to focus on careers, and facilities in my hostel are convenient for students. Most types of sports are available on the hostel premises, and the food is amazing.
Faculty: All teachers are very friendly and helpful. My college has all the lab facilities that help students prepare for future challenges in the industry and factories. It makes students industry-ready with lots of practical knowledge. The semester exams are quite difficult.

If you want to enjoy your college life, then this is not the right place.
Placements: Last year in the mechanical department, around 75% of the students were placed only in core companies. The remaining were some of the students who opted for higher studies or business, and some had backlogs. Since I am a mechanical engineer, the package we get is around 12–15 LPA maximum. The top core companies like Caterpillar, McDermott, Ashok Leyland, etc. visited the college for the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have good labs and classrooms. We do have a library that is open all of the time. The hostel is not that good. It has all the facilities one needs, but we cannot be that comfortable. The food is good, but being in a hostel at one point in time, you get bored of eating the same.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, and they are qualified well. The teaching quality is good except for a few. Since the college is not autonomous, we do still follow the Anna University syllabus, and the exams are conducted by them. The papers are easy, but the evaluation is really bad. It is very expected for someone to get an arrear here. You could have done the exam splendidly and gotten an A.
Other: I chose this course because I don't want to end up in IT. I needed it to be practical, and that's why I like this course. It would be better if the college became autonomous since there wouldn't be any problem regarding the evaluation. If you are a person who is very much into enjoying and want to have fun in college, then this is not the right place. If you come here, you have to only learn. Since it is a college that started just 8 years ago. There are only a limited amount of courses, and the campus is small. But recently the intake was pretty much high, and it is crowded a bit. There are extracurricular activities that you could do here. But the thing is, you have to learn how to manage the academics and extracurricular activities, and then you are good to go. There aren't many events here, so if you want to enjoy college life, then this is not the right place for you.

Good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: There are a reasonable number of placements at this college, as far as I know. For mechanical engineering, 12 LPA was the highest package offered and the lowest was around 3.5 to 4 LPA. Major recruiting companies are Caterpillar, JSW, L&T, etc. Many of our seniors have also gone for internships.
Infrastructure: I will give 10/10 for the infrastructure of our college. All classrooms are well-equipped with all necessary facilities; Wi-Fi is also available everywhere; and the library is also very good. The hostel is also good as far as infrastructure is concerned. But I heard some complaints about the mess foods.
Faculty: Teachers are all well-qualified and helpful. As it is a non-autonomous college as of now, it follows the Anna University curriculum. I'm not sure if this makes the students industry-ready. The curriculum even consists of subjects like the heritage of Tamil and technology for the 1st and 2nd semesters, which I personally feel is a huge time waste and overload for all the students. The university exams are moderately difficult.
Other: This college is much more of a study-oriented college. So don't expect much fun and enjoyment here.

This college is for gaining knowledge.
Placements: Around 100% of placements are there. The top recruiting companies are for both the IT sector and core companies. There are many internships offered by this college. There are many opportunities to take part in club activities.
Infrastructure: There is a high-tech infrastructure in this college with more laboratories and clubs. There is a good atmosphere in this college.
Faculty: There are more experienced teachers in this college, and the pass percentage is 100%. There is an industry visit from the college. The syllabus is based on Anna University.

Life in PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research.
Placements: A huge number of companies visit our college to offer placements compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. I've got placed in a reputed company, and I'm happy that I've studied here. Lots of companies visit our college for circuit branches, whose placements commence in July and continues till September. After that, the number of companies that visit start decreasing drastically for the circuit branches. For non-circuit branches, usually, the placements start in September and continues up to April and May. We have to compete with PSG Tech students for the placements in which the start was tough, but later on, it gave us the confidence that we are not even a bit inferior to any. It made us feel equally competitive with them, and it was a good competition.
Infrastructure: We have very good sophisticated infrastructure including labs, classrooms, gym, seminar halls, and a big auditorium is under construction. We have one big ground, shuttle court, and food court in our college. Most importantly, the lawn is the best place to have fun with friends. New canteen is also renovated recently. We also have a depot to purchase stationery and a Xerox store for emergencies. There is a library, which has to be given a prime concern to improve a lot. Because our library is short of various journals, and streams of knowledge have been narrowed here and should be more diverse, which we are expecting in future. In short, it's a miniature of a 70-year old PSG Tech, and one of the best campuses in the state.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. Of course, very few faculty members are less experienced in teaching. All the faculty members are friendly and favourable. As I'm basically from the mechanical engineering department, we can say that the interaction between the students and faculty members is too much fun than any other department. We sometimes tease the staff members directly in a friendly manner, and they will do the same with us which we will never forget. They are helpful in all circumstances like during project, competitions and all you need. We are grateful to them and extremely lucky to have such people in creating important pages in our college life.
Other: We are allowed to conduct lots of competitions and events in the college. We are constrained to be efficient in academics to be a part of events. We expect our college to understand the difference between academics and individual talents among students.
