There is nothing to say about the college.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is 10%. The package is 3 LPA. 10% of internships are provided. The top internship company is Blackstraw. The highest package is 3 LPA. The top role offered is a software developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are well-equipped and maintained. Classrooms are below average. The library is well-stocked. There is good infrastructure. Hostel facilities are good and comfortable. The food quality is good. There is no canteen. Sports, games, and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. It does not make us industry-ready. The faculty is helpful only in class. They do not help with education. They are qualified and good. The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are easy are held by Anna University. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: AI is good for the future. The best thing is that it provides a good future. There are no events. The campus surroundings are good. There are no scholarships.

Dissatisfied with placements and some facilities, with good infrastructure, mess, and environment.
Placements: I’m part of the 2025 batch, studying Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Placements are not bad. Many companies visit our campus but they only provide opportunities we are the ones who have to grab them. So don't just rely on campus placements.
Infrastructure: All are good don't worry about it. Computer labs are in a good structure. Library is available but we don't have a separate period for that from 3rd year onwards. I don't know about hostel facilities but my friends told me that it has better facilities.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful and have better teaching quality, but there are a few teachers who just act like they are teaching you. Some good teachers want to teach you willingly, but others are just acting. So, it is based on the teacher's character. Some are good and some are bad.
Other: First of all, I'm not expecting that I'm going to join this college. If you don't want any enjoyment on college campus or sports activity then I recommend this college.

I am absolutely dissapointed with the campus hiring in 2025.
Placements: 10% of students are placed in our class. The highest package is 9 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies are HCL, Accenture, CTS, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. Most students got internships through CTS and Accenture. The most common role is trainee programmer. 20% of students are being selected.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department include labs, classrooms, and a library. The labs are very good, but the classroom facilities are okay, not too good. In the hostel, food and accommodation are very good. The medical, games, and sports facilities are average.
Faculty: The teachers are okay, not too good. Some teachers are very good and helpful. The curriculum is very good, but teaching is okay. They provide 100% theoretical knowledge and 10% practical knowledge. Since we are affiliated with Anna University, the exams are very tough, and the pass mark is 40%.
Other: This course is very good for the future, but present, it's not that good. No companies are coming to our college for this course. It would be better if more hiring companies hired students and if there were good practical knowledge. There are zero events, connectivity, and the campus surroundings are okay. There are more crowds in our college.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and management. An average number of placements are going on.
Placements: Around 30% of students got played in my course. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college. Roles offered are system developer, software developer, etc. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Around 20-25% of students got internships from our course in companies like HCL, Deloitte, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are excellent for course seekers with a good and eco-friendly environment. There are facilities such as Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library but with limitations and timings. It is the only drawback regarding facilities. Apart from Saturday, the remaining days of food are like home. It serves food for 5 days. It provides non-vegetarian. The overall food is okay. Medical facilities are good but we should pay for treatment. Sports and games are available with some more limitations.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. One teacher can teach only his experienced subject. The management made to teach for further more different subjects. This led to improper study and understanding of students. The course curriculum is not relevant. Our college is affiliated with Anna University. We should follow their schedule apart from our needs and timings. Students are not idle due to schedules. They are not ready for industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is more than 45%.

Strong infrastructure, good placements, and industry-relevant curriculum.
Placements: I am 2025 batch at Panimalar Institute of Technology, so 20% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Accenture, Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Cognizant. Software engineer is the top role offered this year. Present 2025 batch still has no internship offered on campus.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped classrooms with projectors and comfortable seating. Great labs for hands-on learning with modern equipment. A good library is there with lots of books. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. Rooms are okay but it depends upon the hostel. Mess food is okay but it depends on what we like.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and know their stuff, but it depends upon the teacher. We usually learn for our job and also for future purposes. Exams can be tricky, so we need to work hard for it. Most people pass the examination but we have to work hard for it and 0% of students passed approximately.
Other: AI is current booming technology, so I chose this course. Our campus is good overall.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty .
Placements: The current placement scenario for your batch in AI and Data Science seems challenging, with only 10% of students placed so far and packages reaching up to 9 LPA. Unfortunately, top companies are recruiting across all branches rather than focusing specifically on yours, and there are no free internship opportunities available. To improve outcomes, focus on building in-demand skills in AI, Data Science, and programming, showcase projects on platforms like GitHub, and actively seek internships and networking opportunities through platforms like LinkedIn.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the AI and Data Science course is well-equipped with advanced labs, Wi-Fi connectivity, spacious classrooms, and a library with ample resources for academic growth. Hostel facilities are decent with Wi-Fi access; however, the food quality in the hostel mess is average, with breakfast being below average. Medical facilities are available for basic health needs, and sports infrastructure supports both indoor and outdoor games, promoting extracurricular activities alongside academics. While some areas, such as the hostel food, need improvement, the overall facilities provide a conducive environment for learning and development.
Faculty: Teachers are not worth the amount of money. There is no course curriculum relevant to the industry. The teaching quality does not justify the cost, as many teachers lack the necessary expertise and effectiveness. The course curriculum is outdated and fails to prepare students for industry demands. Semester exams vary in difficulty, with some being challenging and others relatively easy.
Other: The reason for joining this Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course is its evolving technology for the future. Yes, we have a fest once a year, and the campus surroundings look nice.

Number 1 worst college in Chennai.
Placements:
In my department, around 20 percent of the students in my seniors were placed on campus, and the remaining students are getting placed through off-campus opportunities. The highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA. Companies like Hexaware, Accenture, Avasoft, Deltax, and some other startups came. No one in the current or senior batch got an internship through campus as we lack proper exposure and guidance.
Infrastructure: We don't have any facilities or infrastructure. Everything in the college is broken, and some of it is in a semi-functional state. There are no labs, no Wi-Fi, and the library restricts students from studying and entering it; it's only for show. We have a hostel, and a separate cost is charged for it with zero amenities. Water doesn't come half the time, there are frequent power cuts, and the main issue is no Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but don't even know the basics of 12th standard. They are just lab assistants who prepare notes from ChatGPT and ask us to study from them. Nothing is taught in the classrooms; we are only asked to lie down or copy down the notes. The course is updated, but there is no one here to teach it. Semester exams happen every 3 months, but only 60% of the students pass them.
Other: There is nothing good to say about this college. I would rather say it's just a jail. We have no extracurricular activities, no industry events to update our skills, and no competitions. Scholarships are just given to a few students who come through government quota.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the staff.
Placements: No students were placed in my senior batch of around 5 students. Off-campus companies were TCS, Accenture, and some startups, and the highest package was 5 LPAs and the lowest was 2; the roles offered were web development, data analysis, and full-track development. Students didn't get an internship from any company.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities such as Wi-Fi, no proper software or hardware devices, a classroom full of dirt and broken benches, and only a library in which books date from 1990. Labs have Windows XP OS. We have a mess that is very hygienic, there are no medical facilities in case of emergencies, and there is no ground for sports.
Faculty: The teachers don't have basic knowledge about the subject, and teachers bunk the classes by sitting in the staff rooms in the AC. They are just lab assistants who don't even know what programming is. The course is outdated, and students have to develop their own skills. Semester exams are difficult, and only 50% of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest, but it was the worst thing I did. Even though a course has value in the market, studying it at this college makes it worthless. There are no events in my college, no extra activities, no scholarships, and no exposure.
