This is a good college and is top-rated in Chennai.
Placements: Without any arrear, you are qualified to get a placement job. The college can also give internships. The college can collaborate with Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, and more than 150 other companies are involved. It is the most trustworthy college. Don't worry about your money, it is value for money.
Infrastructure: The labs are maintained properly and the classrooms are well-developed. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi service and a three-floored library with multiple labs. Sports such as NCC, JRC, volleyball, cricket, and kabaddi are available. The college also conducts badminton, carrom, chess, and table tennis matches, and there are four PT masters.
Faculty: Faculty are good and nice people who are very kind and knowledgeable.
JCE places a clear emphasis on physical development alongside academics with its robust sporting facilities. The degree programmes offered are B.E./B.Tech. in Biomedical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and more courses.

The fee structure is changing because it is an autonomous college.
Placements: Our college has excellent placements. Almost 75% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc., visit our campus. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities. Our classrooms are good. Our labs and library are good. Wi-Fi is available. The hostel facilities are good, and the quality of food served is good.
Faculty: Our college has excellent teachers, and you will learn. You must focus on your studies. College clubs help you find your interest and guide you to go for what you want. It is an important decision that is helpful to understand practically. The semester exams are difficult.

This college is worth the money we are paying.
Placements: Almost 92% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.1 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered by Byjus was 8 LPA. Many students got placed in companies like Cognizant.
Infrastructure: Our campus is small but it has all the essential facilities. There is no real playground for sports and extracurricular activities. There are few buses for day scholar students at an average price.
Faculty: Our faculty members are average. The teaching quality is better. There are few experienced staff members, and others are newbies at teaching while some of them are fresh graduates with master's degrees.

Our college provides good faculty members and environment for students.
Placements: More than 80% of students get placed in our college. The salary package offered is between 4 LPA and 7 LPA. Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, and TCS are the major recruiting companies. Mostly 30% to 70% of students get internships in their 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Every department has a good lab infrastructure. Computer labs contain air-conditioners. Hostel food is not bad. Canteen food is nominal in price with sufficient quantity. Our college conducts a sports day every year which is for more than 2 weeks.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good and highly qualified. Especially S and H department faculty members are very friendly and share many technical skills. Many of them have more than 20 years of experience. Exams are very easy to clear. The pass percentage is more than 85% last semester.
Other: Most of the students come from surroundings of the college, so you can't get connected with other state students. Our college conducts many inter-college events like symposiums, cultural, sports day, and other club events.

Placements in the college are good.
Placements: Placements are good. Lots of top companies came for placement. Students also got placed in big companies like Amazon, ZOHO etc. Other companies like TCS, CTS, IBM, Wipro, Sopra Steria, Prodapt, Odessey, Aspire Systems, and many more companies came for placement. Even some BPO companies also come. It depends on the student's skills, to get placed. Students have to put some effort and get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is good. It consists of 5 labs, 1 seminar hall and 1 department library. All the labs are equipped with computers which run on Linux OS. The Wi-Fi connection in the lab is average. The department library consists of plenty of books for each subject and also previous year project reports for reference.
Faculty: There are many PhD holders in the department. All staffs have very good knowledge. The students can approach the staffs whenever they have some difficulty. The course curriculum is not that good. Students have to acquire more knowledge other than the course curriculum to make themselves ready for the industry.

My honest review about the college.
Placements: The placements are decent enough but not up to the mark. After the placements, the call letter is sent very late or never comes. Mostly books are there just to maintain the placement record. Efforts by the placement cell are very minimal. Few companies are very promising, and rest are fake.
Infrastructure: The college has only 3 buildings and a boys hostel inside the campus. It is located in a very prominent place, but the campus is very small. Laboratories have all required materials, and lab attendants are trained professionals. They can work more on improving the labs.
Faculty: Anna University syllabus is followed in the college. Foreign author books are helpful but do not convey the content from examination point of view. Faculty members are well-trained professionals but organising the syllabus could be better. There is no partiality shown towards any student.
Other: They can work more on the infrastructure and make the college atmosphere interactive.

The college is good with the small campus.
Placements: The placements come from the well-reputed companies. Almost, 80% of the students are selected. The companies like IBM, Capgemini, Zoho visit the campus for the placements. The candidates, who have 2 to 3 arrears are selected for the campus interviews. Some of BPO companies also come for the students.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with the Jio Wi-Fi facility. The library is of two floors, clean classroom, and the medical room with three beds and the doctor for first aids. There are the separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. The hostel rooms and the foods are average. The labs are well-maintained and updated with all the requirements.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified with the good degrees with doctorates. They have more than five years of experience. The teaching methods are good and friendly. They teach with the smart digital board and with the projector sometimes. There is an industrial visit once a semester.
Other: The college conducts a symposium, department events, sports day, cultural, and farewells for the students.

The college life is heaven but placements are not good enough.
Placements: The placements were good for our seniors, but for us, it was below average. The students who get placed are not allowed to attend any further placement drives, however, they can attend any off-campus or walk-ins if interested. The usual companies visiting our college are Capgemini and Tech Mahindra. These two companies recruit the highest number of students. Apart from these two companies known to be big, we did not get any other big companies. Its largely because of the recession going on in the field rather blame placement department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, but Wi-Fi was not present for our batch though. The classrooms are okay, they are cleaned every day. Probably the library is one of the major highlights of the college. There is a sick room available with a nurse present, can be used if necessary, a doctor can be availed if necessary. The canteen food is very good, no issues. The hostel is fine but sometimes heard complaints about the hostel food. I think we have a good cricket, basketball and volleyball teams, but to be fair enough, there is not much support for sports.
Faculty: One excellent thing about this college is its faculty. We had a good bunch of faculty who were very friendly and offered you help whenever necessary. They are skilled and qualified enough, some faculty are incredibly brilliant and have immense knowledge. The teachers concentrate on making every student understand the subject, and even if you don't, then you are always welcomed to raise questions or meet them personally and clarify your doubts.
