RNSIT - One NEST with vast technical opportunities.

Placements: When it comes to placements, our college has a good network with various companies that hire us as civil engineers for both site work and drafting roles. Internships offered by various companies also lead to selection for full-time roles. Top roles offered by various companies include site engineer, quality engineer, and AutoCAD draftsman.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, with clean classrooms, hygienic toilets, well-maintained laboratories, and one-on-one communication with the technical lab in-charge staff. For conducting projects, our research labs are vast enough. Wi-Fi is also provided for us. When it comes to the hostel, it is well-maintained with clean rooms, corridors, and periodic washing of bedsheets and cleaning of rooms. Food is prepared and served with the utmost hygiene.

Faculty: When it comes to the faculty, we are provided with highly technically skilled staff to teach us. They prepare an updated syllabus for us each semester, and internal assessments are conducted before the final exams. The courses offered by the civil department are job-oriented, and both our institution and our department train us to be industry-ready.

Other: The college offers great value for money, as what we pay is given back in the form of very good teaching and knowledge. Our college also conducts various events and Student Development Programs (SDPs) that help us gain knowledge and understand the present skill requirements expected by recruiting companies. Our college is well-connected with good bus facilities from various destinations. Excellent scholarship opportunities are provided in our college for rank-holding students every year. Site visits related to our courses are arranged annually, which enhances our technical knowledge of civil engineering.

Placements: PPlacements are good. Top recruiting companies are Nokia, Amazon, and many more. The highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. The placement cell provides training and support for students. Students get opportunities for different roles and responsibilities based on their skill sets.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. As I am not living in a hostel, I cannot say exactly how the hostel facilities are, but I assume there are enough facilities and they are comfortable for both boys' and girls' hostels separately. Food facilities are also there.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive of students who are willing to build their careers throughout the course. They explain everything clearly and most of the faculty members are experienced. The curriculum is well-structured. Examination patterns are systematic.

A decent placement university.

Placements: I mean, placements are decent. As if talking about the core branch, slightly low for the data science departure, you can simply expect a 6-7 LPA package. It's worth it for KCET students because they had to pay a low fee as compared to COMEDK students, so if someone is from the north, prepare yourself to work hard.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average. Most of the buildings are the same, and we've got a beautiful gallery. But talking about sports facilities, they're really poor, like the football ground is literally unplayable, and a huge area is still organised. Talking about hostels, they're really expensive, as they actually are, so hostels are worse.

Faculty: I'd say most of the faculty members are good, really enjoyed studying under them. The curriculum is a bit off, like really irritating for students. In my department, some teachers were really good and chill. But I have heard about my friends' teachers, they say they're really strict and supportive, but that amount is less, you'll find really supportive teachers.

Other: If coming from COMEDK, don't really rely on college only, but be ready to put in all your effort.

About the MCA branch at RNSIT.

Placements: There are a decent number of placement opportunities. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The college has a nice and calm infrastructure. However, outside the college, a main road that can create traffic issues, and many accidents have been spotted. The canteen food is slightly more expensive, but the quality of food is good because of the strict and well-maintained cleanliness. There is also good Wi-Fi coverage across the campus.

Faculty: All faculty members, curriculum, and exams are strictly maintained and managed properly. Discipline is also maintained, and every faculty member is knowledgeable. They treat students with respect and guide them properly rather than considering them as rivals. Most students here are well-disciplined. However, sometimes teachers provide unwanted courses that do not belong to our field. They are not very useful because there is not enough time to complete them.

Other: There is nothing much to mention. But every student needs to study on their own rather than depending completely on teachers or subjects.

Excellent opportunities at RNSIT.

Placements: More than 75 percent of students got placed. Even placements in IT also happen. The highest package is 20 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Good placement drives happen for every batch. A good college to study and develop your knowledge.

Infrastructure: All good facilities at the hostel. Good facilities are available at the hostel. The library is open beyond college hours. It helps a lot with studying. Good crowd. Staff help a lot and motivate you to participate in hackathons and other activities. Nice environment.

Faculty: Now it is an autonomous college. So all good courses with respect to industry standards are recommended. A lot of opportunities to choose electives and build your skills. Appreciated for taking projects to enhance knowledge. Examinations are conducted in a structured manner. Teachers are very supportive.

Review of RNS Institute of technology.

Placements: The percent of placement nowadays is not that good. My course is best of all, so companies also have a preference to take students from core CSE only. The average package is around 7–8 LPA, the highest is 53 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 LPA. The lowest amount is given by Infosys. Internships are done by many students, but mostly off-campus. The top roles offered are software engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is still in development, as the college is still in progress, but it is good. Wi-Fi is mostly available only in the library. The canteen is good and hygienic. The mess and medical facilities are also decent. However, sports are not encouraged much, which is a little sad.

Faculty: The best thing is the friendly nature of our teachers. I love them. They are not only good with their degrees but also with their behavior. All the teachers are qualified with their degrees. The curriculum is not relevant, as they have to work according to VTU. The exams are easy in the first year, so you can do some work for your personal development.

Other: Before I got into this college, placements are really good, but lately they are not that good. The best thing about this college is the people, support, faculty, and seniors. Maybe choose the AIML branch instead, as I have heard the faculty there are much more good and supportive. The time of events was the best for us; we all made many memories at that moment. Sometimes events happen in sequence, and then there are no events at all, which can make the college boring. Scholarships are available, mostly for Karnataka students.
