Brief review of RNSIT College Bangalore for COMEDK students for non-Karnataka students
Placements: Placements are improving, with the highest package in the department being 10.7 LPA and the average 7 LPA, there is full placement percentage in our department, and in the year 2025 around 15 internships were offered to students, and as this branch is relatively new compared to other branches, placements are comparatively lower, but there is high scope in Data Science.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good, but the internet connection is slow, the library is good and we can study focused there, food facilities in the food court are nice and the taste of products is yum, the sports department is fine, and there should be improvement in classrooms and Wi-Fi connection is needed.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and their guidance helps us a lot, the way of teaching is good, semester exams are quite easy, the pass percentage is 81–90, teachers are knowledgeable and help in clearing doubts, and the course is not that much relevant in today’s industry, but exams are very easy to score.

A vibrant college with really good placements
Placements: Students get placed in top companies like Amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., and we have a placement training centre in our college, with the highest package of the year 2025 being 41.6 LPA and top recruiters including Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro, LTI, Cerner, Hashed by Deloitte, etc., and since Data Science is started here recently, there are fewer outgoing students but we are promised great placements by RNSIT.
Infrastructure: Since I’m a day scholar I don’t know about the hostel, but the campus is huge and beautiful, with a temple, a library, a digital library with excellent Wi-Fi, a food court, auditoriums, seminar halls, spacious classrooms with projectors in each classroom, a basketball court, and a playground.
Faculty: The teachers here have good experience in teaching, are very friendly and helpful, have helped almost all students in their class to get centums and distinctions, and personally I liked all the teachers of my department very much because of their help, we scored very well in our semester exams and obtained good CGPA.
Other: Our campus is located in Channasandra, there is no metro but there are a lot of buses, and speaking about fests, we have two main fests namely Parichay (intracollege) and Pantheon (intercollege), along with many other events related to sports, technical, and non-technical activities.

RNSIT is a good college to experience college life with experienced faculty members
Placements: Placement training is provided by experienced trainers in the college from the start. We have a placement training center in our college. Students get placed in top companies with a good package. Since Data Science is a new branch started in the college, there are not many passed-out students yet.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi facilities are provided when needed. There are projector screens and a digital library which is easily accessible, and books can be borrowed anytime till 9 PM. Since I am a day scholar, I do not know much about the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly, clarify doubts with patience, encourage us in various situations, and guide and support us. They have helped students achieve a good CGPA. They are well trained and have good teaching experience. Exams are quite easy if you study well.

Brief review of college who entered through COMEDK
Placements: This branch offers good placement opportunities, with many reputed companies visiting the campus each year. Strong training, skill development, and active recruiter participation ensure students greater career prospects. I think the top recruiter of this branch is Oracle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RNSIT is very basic and not very desirable. Although it says it has a big campus, most of it is still under construction and development. The hostel is not good, it is very expensive, and the food is not good too. I would suggest not taking the hostel.
Faculty: Due to autonomy, the course has been somewhat updated. Most appreciated is the fewer number of exams we have to give, although compulsory attendance is very high (85 percent). The course is averagely relevant, exams are very easy and easy to score marks, and performance mostly depends on the teacher. Most teachers are nice enough to be cooperative with you.
Other: There are very few fests and less focus on cultural activities. College life is average, as most of the students are day scholars.

Summarize it, it is an average college, the main thing about this college is the location factor.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80 percent of students were placed. Even though the financial year was not good, the students were placed in good numbers, with Bangalore being the main thing. The highest package was offered by Amazon for 50lpa, tho I think it was off-campus. The top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, Bajaj, and Infosys. 40 to 50 percent of students got internships in multiple companies, most of whom were selected from the CSE core branch. Top roles offered are AIML engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps engineer.
Infrastructure: Good facility, some classes are kind of our date, while some are good, almost all classes contain a projector and AC/fan, and Wi-Fi is mostly available, especially in the library. Hostels are very expensive, 1.5 LPA for 3 sharing. It's better to take PG near the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, kind, and welcoming, and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. It's CSE AIML, it's literally the future, they also make us industry-ready by making us do internships. Semester exams are kind of mid, you can crack them by studying 1 week before the exams, the pass percentage is 95 percent, though the attendance is quite strict, it's 85 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I'm intrigued by the concept of AIML I also came here because of Bangalore as a city factor. Some things they can definitely improve, including the attendance criteria of 85 percent. They are also making a new CSE building, but it's taking too much time. Events and fests are good, the main fest is named Parichay fest, it's intra-college every 2 years and inter-college every other year.

Great faculty and placements.
Placements: The placements are still ongoing for the 2026 batch of the B.E. CSE course. Companies like Kickdrum and LSEG have offered the highest package for CSE and aligned branches, offering 15 LPA. Other companies visiting the campus are Oracle, Cognizant, LTIMindtree, IBM, HP, Bosch, etc. The lowest package is around 3.6 LPA, and the highest is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are Wi-Fi-enabled. The library is huge, spacious, and open for long hours. Infrastructure overall is very good, and the management is taking steps to improve upon it by building new blocks and buildings for expansion, etc. The CSE department at RNSIT is one of the most active and well-equipped departments on campus. The labs have good systems with fast internet and all the required software, so students can easily work on projects and coding practice. The classrooms are smart-class enabled, which makes learning more interactive and engaging.
Faculty: The teachers of the CSE department are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and willing to use their time to help guide the students even outside of class hours. They are always open to questions and offer guidance for projects, research papers, etc. The curriculum itself for VTU batch students does not make them industry-ready, but now that the college has been promoted to autonomous status, these improvements can be expected. The faculty provides great notes for study and exam preparation for each and every subject.
Other: Events and fests are organised regularly both within the department and on the entire campus. Other opportunities, like Samsung Innovation Campus training programs, are available to students where they are trained in subjects like AI and can get certified by Samsung. The faculty members are experienced, helpful, and approachable. They not only focus on teaching the syllabus but also encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding contests, and research activities.
