It's a decent college with nice infrastructure and facilities and good faculty members.
Placements: 20% of students are placed. The highest salary is 32 LPA, the lowest salary is 2.5 LPA, and average salary is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. 5% of students got internships at Soft Pro and Smart Intern. Top roles offered in our course are data analyst, data scientist, business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Infrastructure is also good. Each class has AC and library has AC and Wi-Fi for students. Good facilities in the hostel too. Wi-Fi is there for students. It has security and requirements. It provides nice quality food. Average medical and sports and games facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good and qualified. It is relevant to our course. If students learn all those things very well and develop skills. Exams are mid to high difficulty according to AKTU exam pattern. 33% marks are required to pass. 100% of students pass.
Other: Data science is a new branch with much scope. Learning could be more effectively and practically performed. Several events take place in various societies, sports fests, and tech fests. Crowd is okay. Various scholarships are provided to students.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science in a batch of 2024 and will pass out in 2027 at RKGIT Ghaziabad. The overall placement scenario of our course is average, but the placement percentage is quite low. Only 20-30% of students get placed through the campus. The highest package offered recently was 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package ranges between 3.2-3 and 5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Commvault, and HCL, but the number of selections from each is limited.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, there is a lack of Wi-Fi, but in the library and in the department, the Wi-Fi works well. The hostel food is not that good, and it is like a survival game for students. The backup of light and electricity is very good. Restrictions for students for going out, and in night are quite high. There are a number of labs for various subjects like operating systems, design lab, and OOP.
Faculty: There are various faculty members for various departments and courses. Most of them are very kind-hearted and helpful, but like all departments, some lack knowledge, but most of them have the knowledge of their own field. Faculty members are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also good. There is a lack of practical knowledge. This college is mostly relying on the traditional way to teach, and we have to study ourselves to be placement-ready because this college and the teacher will help us in a certain way and to a certain limit only.

AKTU's teaching is outdated, exams are random, and overall, it is a very poor university.
Placements: Our branch is Data Science, which is a new branch, so the number of students is less. Placements at our college are not much special, as is the happens in all private colleges. However, last year 2024, one student received a package of 33 LPA, but the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. If students want internships, they have to find them on their own, as the college does not provide any opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, with whiteboards and two ACs in each classroom. Our HOD is good. Some teachers rely on YouTube to teach, while others are truly knowledgeable and don’t even need books. The hostel facilities are decent, there are five boys’ hostels two for 1st years and three for seniors and one girls’ hostel with separate floors for each year. The mess food is okay not great, but manageable if you enjoy ghee. Otherwise, you’ll probably end up ordering Domino’s often. Overall, it’s a mix of average and good, with room for improvement but some genuinely great aspects.
Faculty: As I mentioned earlier, some teachers are good while others rely on YouTube to teach. The college follows the university’s outdated and ineffective curriculum. Everything feels irregular, but there’s no one to complain to since the university itself is poorly managed. Honestly, private universities like SRM are way better. And don’t even get me started on the exams. AKTU sets random papers without considering the syllabus. In the 2025 first-year, first-semester chemistry exam, nothing was from what was taught. Even YouTube teachers joke that AKTU must have been high while setting it. Overall, AKTU is a very disappointing university.

Placements: At Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, approximately 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The top companies that recruit students are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. 40-50% of students get internships at Bharat Intern and CodSoft. Job roles offered are developer, analyst, and tester.
Infrastructure: The CSE department is equipped with Wi-Fi, AC labs, smart classrooms, and a decent library. The hostel has clean rooms, good food, medical assistance, and games like volleyball, badminton, etc. Mess food is average but clean. The canteen provides basic meals and snacks.
Faculty: Faculty members are encouraging and competent. They convey concepts clearly. The course curriculum is recent and includes industry-specific topics. Semester exams are average with a 90-95% pass percentage. Assignments and internals on a regular basis assist in preparation.
Other: I am from a B.Tech CSE (Data Science) course. I opted for this course because of my interest in AI & technology. Most liked is the practical exposure here. There is a need for improvement in more core company visits. Fests, the campus crowd, and events are good. The campus is well-connected, and it provides scholarships.

It has a supportive environment but there is a struggle for placements.
Placements: Almost every student gets placements. The lowest package for B.Tech is around 4 LPA and the highest package is around 10 LPA. Mostly TCS comes for placements. As of now I'm in my second year and no one gets internships. Facilities are very much good so there are many roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good even in first-year classes are very good. Every class has a smart board and in each classroom, there are a minimum of 2 ACs. In the second year, there are projectors in every class. There are too many labs in the college, i.e., 55 labs in college.
Faculty: Faculty members are much better than other colleges. Every teacher is supportive and good. Every teacher has enough knowledge to teach in B.Tech. Every week there are tests and there are 2 ST exams. 1 PUT exam is conducted each semester and for weak students, there are special classes.
Other: I chose this college because it is near to my house.
