Around 2014 to 2015, average packages generally ranged from 3 LPA to 6 LPA placements in 2015.
Placements: Delhi University (DU) placements were highly varied by college and course, generally offering good opportunities, especially for Commerce/Economics/BMS streams with top firms like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Accenture, seeing packages up to more than 30 LPA. Average packages often range from 4 to 9.5 LPA, though some arts/science courses see a lower average of 3 to 6 LPA, with the placement cell active and helpful but varying in effectiveness. Overall, students leveraged strong industry connections for good placements or pursued higher studies/off-campus jobs.
Infrastructure: Delhi University hostel reviews were mixed. They offer essentials like Wi-Fi, security, and basic amenities, but often lack AC, with concerns about food quality, messy food and old infrastructure, though some colleges have modern facilities. Sports facilities vary greatly by college, with some boasting excellent courts (basketball, badminton, TT) and gyms, while others lack indoor games, with general campus grounds available but sometimes underutilised for organised sports.
Faculty: Delhi University teachers generally receive positive reviews for being knowledgeable, supportive, and effective mentors who use varied methods (projects, labs, materials) to help students. They are fostering growth in a competitive setting. Though experiences vary, with some citing issues like outdated curriculum or administrative concerns affecting faculty support, overall guidance was seen as strong for academics and career prep.
Other: Delhi University (DU) offers varied experiences, with strong academics in courses like English Hons and MBBS, great campus life with vibrant societies and fests, and decent placements varying by college/course, but scholarship details need direct checking. Top courses often cited include English Hons, Commerce B.Com/Hons, Science subjects, and specific professional courses like MBBS, while infrastructure, faculty, and crowd quality differ across DU's numerous colleges, emphasising that a good college.

Ramjas in a single snapshot – placements, faculty members, crowd.
Placements: The placement is decent. The highest package went up to 22 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. The internship is also decent, with a lot of opportunities coming to the campus through the placement cell. The top roles offered are in auditing and finance. The top company is Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good but the hostel is currently under renovation. The overall infrastructure is good, meeting all the requirements but the lab is outdated in terms of technology (laptop). The canteen tender is currently undergoing a change and will soon have a new tender but the current one is not that good.
Faculty: The course is very relevant to the internships available in the market. The semester exams are not difficult, but sometimes guest teachers are not allotted on time, which leads to a delay in the overall preparation. The pass percentage is 50%, and the exam difficulty level is moderate.
Other: College life is quite good, especially the societies. They are very active, and I don’t regret my course selection.

An overall review of the college.
Placements: My batch of 2025, Bachelors in Commerce (Honours), had a decent number of students placed in many companies, with the highest package being 19 LPA, the lowest 4 LPA, and an average of 5 LPA. Companies like EY and KPMG come for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent, it has a vast campus with greenery, a gymnasium, a spacious library, and a common room for girls. The hostel is also okay, the safety concerns of students are their priority, and the rooms are very spacious with good meals.
Faculty: Faculty are very supportive, and the curriculum is kept by considering the benefits of students. The exam pattern is also favorable for the bright future of students. The course offers a 4-year degree program for students, in which they can pursue research work in the field they are interested in.

College is more about exposure than academics.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 4.5 LPA. Deloitte is top recruiting company in our course. Currently, I am in 1st year and don't get internships. Data analytics and auditing are top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Commerce faculty members are good and infrastructure of the college is good. There are lift, Wi-Fi connection, classroom has projector, computer lab has good facility, and library is also good. Hostel has average infrastructure. Mess food is good, and no medical facilities. Sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified from top universities. They are knowledgeable and their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good to make industry ready but not completely. Semester exams are moderate to tough, and 98% of students pass the exams.
Other: I chose the course because I was interested in accountancy. The best thing about my course is that it provides both theoretical as well as practical problem solutions. I think B.Com (Hons) should provide more skill-oriented courses. There are many events in college, department fest, and college fest. Campus crowd is good especially the greenery of the college is impressive. There are many different societies in college. College also provides scholarships.

The campus is the dream of Ramjas.
Placements: The percentage of placements is over 90%. The average package is 7 LPA. The range of packages starts from 3.5 LPA, and the highest package the college has offered is 25 LPA. Many companies like Deloitte and KPMG are offering roles as audit assistants with a package of around 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has a library, four computer labs, a canteen, an auditorium, sports facilities, an amphitheater, conference halls, and many other facilities. It has green lawns and two large sports grounds. It has a volleyball court, a badminton court, and a basketball court. It also regularly organizes cricket and other sports tournaments.
Faculty: The curriculum follows the new education policy. The course has a total of seven exams each semester, with three domain subjects and four optional subjects, in which students must choose their field of interest. Exams are conducted in December and May every year.

Hi Nitin, Sorry to say this but unless you belong to extremely lower category (ST or SC) you can't get the admission in Ramjas College for B.Com. Still be hopeful, and wait for the last cutoff list but try other colleges as well. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Hi, Mathematics isn't necessary to do B.Com but it is certainly required to pursue B.Com Honors as per Delhi University rules. You may take a chance and go for the admission but they will/should look out for Mathematics in your mark sheet. All the best!
