Good placement and government-aided facilities.

Placements: I must say the placement in Rcc MCA department is average. Top recruiting companies that came earlier are like CTS, TCS, Accenture, CRTD Technologies, Tech Mahindra, NRI Fintech, Deloitte, albeit rarely. The placement records of early batches are moderate. There is an average package of 6 LPA. I must say that I'm in 2nd sem now and many internship companies have come along with pre-placement offers of 8 LPA and the like.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. As Kolkata is a populated city, Rcc can't manage to hold a big luxury campus. There is Wi-Fi, good labs, a big library. No hostel or accommodation facilities are provided; students have to arrange their own. There are 2 campuses - old campus and new campus, the old campus is mostly used for administrative purposes.

Faculty: Our MCA department faculty members are good, supportive, and strict. I have to say that they are doing much for our professional career to make it stronger with skills and to get us internships from now to gain hands-on experience. The semester is taken by MAKAUT. MAKAUT conducts moderate-level exams, as we all know.

Other: I chose my college because it is value for money and also it is semi-government. I could get the placement package here with less fees than fully private colleges. I am an SVMCM scholarship recipient. 50% of my college fees have been arranged from there.

Our college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very good in this college. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Around 20% of students got internships in our course. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Amazon, PwC, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. Hostel facilities are better. The food served in the mess is perfect. The canteen facility is also good. It provides medical facilities. Sports and games are available. It has a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not difficult at our college. The course curriculum is useful, and it is prescribed by our university. This college offers all sorts of courses.

Good college to join.

Placements: Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The highest package will be according to your skill, not the degree of the course, but the average will be 4 to 6 LPA. About 50 to 60% of students get placed. Summer internships and training courses are available.

Infrastructure: Labs are decent, and the canteen is also good and clean. Hostels are not available; you can take personal accommodation. Different events are held, like Hackathon, Regalia, Behan, and sports like football and cricket. Seniors are also helpful. No ragging has happened here.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are not too hard; if students study properly, they can get 8+ CGPA. Students can become industry-ready for internships and jobs, and if you have top skills, then you can apply for top companies.

Other: The best thing about the course is that if you are not from a PCM background and you do BCA after 12th, then you can do MCA, which can be said to be equivalent to B.Tech. So you can take job roles such as Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Cyber Security Expert.
