The Sardar Patel College of Engineering is one of the best institute in Mumbai.
Placements: The placements are pretty average. The highest package every year is around 10-15 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA for the Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical branches. Each year, many top companies visit the college, for example, L&T, Mahanagar, and many more.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are pretty good, as all the rooms are well maintained, and the cleanliness is also well maintained. The mess quality is below average, but there are some other canteens on the campus that provide good meals, so whenever you like having one, you can go there. Additionally, there is an AC in the hostel study room with a good Wi-Fi network.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated, but some don't know the actual way of teaching; they just keep scrolling through the PPTs. Each year, the 2nd, 3rd, and final year students are taken for industry visits, and even freshers can go for the visit. It’s quite interesting, as you get to learn with all the fun along the way.
Other: The campus has every aspect a student could want. It has its own lake, a Shiva Mandir, and is full of green trees around. Even the crowd is quite good.

Satisfied with all the things I had experienced so far.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students in our batch successfully secured job placements. The remaining few students who were not eligible to participate in the placement process did not secure jobs due to the requirements set by the companies, but they also had opportunities to get internships at big companies. There is a great selection of companies offering placements set by the placement coordinator. There are companies that offer packages of INR 8.5 LPA, and there are a lot of other big companies that also offer good packages.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of things that need renovation and updating in the infrastructure. Though the course offered is not bad compared to other colleges, and the hostel facility is also good based on what my classmates have gone through during their stay in the hostel. And I will recommend students join the hostel if seats are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated professors, and I really like the way they teach at the college. The exam patterns are quite different from other colleges, and it's quite difficult to get through the exams and tests if you missed out on the lectures. So, it's very important not to miss the lectures.
Other: I had a very great time with all the friends and people out there at the college. Even the college faculty members were all very kind, and the people out there were busy on their own, so there is no one who judges you for what you are doing. If you are looking for an autonomous government-aided college in Mumbai for an engineering course, I recommend you get into this college.

This college has placements that are good enough.
Placements: The placements are very good. The highest package from our college is 12 LPA. The students also get an internship from college. Our college always gives us chance to participate in every event and always gives a positive response to our work in our field.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good enough and medical facilities are also there. Every year college organises a competition. In college, a huge playground is also present. Wi-Fi in college has good strength, which means phones always have a range on campus no matter where you are.
Faculty: The hostel staff and college staff are very supportive. Also teaching staff have a lot of experience. The exam section is also doing a great job. They always try to help students. While exams, the exam section's behavior is strict but all the staff in the exam section are friendly.
Other: Every year student organisations organise some events such as Space, Spectra, and also CIA EESA, and MESA.

It is a better college. Students will get supportive staff and the environment is best.
Placements: As in SPCE, there are only 3 core branches like civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Compared to other colleges core branches SPCE's placements for core branches is better. A committee available for placements in this college. The highest salary package offered in civil branches is 6 LPA. Around 80-85% of students has been placed, and others opt for higher studies. Environment of our college for competitive exams are also helpful. It is better college for students who are interested in core subjects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SPCE is average as this college is very old. But all needful facilities are available. Purified cold drinking water is available on every floor of the building. The building is of 2 floors. Quadrangle provided in the middle of the building. Washroom facilities are available on every floor. The environment of the college is best as SPCE is on Bhavan's campus. There are 3 to 4 other colleges also there. Space has its hostel whose seat filling is done based on merit. There are limited seats in the space hostel. For non-hostelite, outside our college, there are many rooms available for college students on basis of rent systems.
Other: Facilities are better in SPCE. SPCE is situated in Bhavan's campus in which there are 3-4 other colleges also. On the back side of SPCE, there is a spit college building attached to the SPCE building. On-campus adventure park is there, the lake is also available. In the adventure park, peacocks, swans, ducks, and many birds are available. At the entrance of SPCE, there is a Shiv Temple. The greenery of the SPCE campus is best, and the environment is healthy. There are many small and big events and fests that are held in this college. Space is the annual fest of SPCE in which there are many functions, competitions, and many more are conducted. Tech events are also held in this college.

It is a really good college for engineering.
Placements: As per the current recruitment report, the campus was visited by 71 companies. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA by Mu Sigma for a civil engineering student. The packages offered range from between 2.4 LPA to 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: Sardar Patel College of Engineering has a fully computerized central library. The boys' hostel has 97 rooms, with 278 beds. The rooms are available on single occupancy and sharing basis. The in-campus hostel, girls' hostel has 19 rooms, with 67 beds, and sharing rooms are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and well-experienced. They help us throughout with the projects, assignments and answer all the doubts. The curriculum starts from basic and proceeds well for students to be eligible for high qualified jobs further. The curriculum also addresses the GATE exam.

Facilities, faculty members and the college crowd are very good.
Placements: Above 85% of the students got placed in the civil engineering course. Many students got internships from Ubuntu and other companies. The salary package of 10-20 LPA is acquired by students in the civil branch. The personal development because of the various activities conducted is also good.
Infrastructure: There is a 4G Wi-Fi connection for all students and faculty members in our college. The library system is up-to-date, and there are e-learning boards in all the classrooms. Labs are well-equipped, and the canteen is also near the college, which is affordable, good and hygienic. Regular sports are also conducted.
Faculty: There are qualified teachers and professors, and they take regular classes. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they give good experimental examples. Site visits are also regular to prepare students for the actual industry. Different workshops like carpentry, fitting, etc., are also conducted on a regular basis.
Other: I have chosen this course because civil engineering has vast coverage in engineering. The technical fest named Spectra is excellent, and it is covering all the technical events like construction. The campus crowd is excellent, and there are extracurricular activities like dance, singing and sports. There are a lot of clubs like a debate club, women's club, etc.

I have good experience with faculty members and the crowd.
Placements: Almost 83% of the students got placed from the civil branch in the last 4 years. Almost 30 students got placed in 2018-2019 with the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA in Armstrong World Industry Pvt Ltd. About 3 students got placed in Reliance Industries with a salary package of 4.5 LPA. Also, 17 students opted for higher education.
Infrastructure: The campus of our college is the best. It is situated in a city like Mumbai, and it has many trees and a lake too. The canteen is average with a variety of dishes. Mostly, all the labs have required equipment, and our college provides on-hand experience for many experiments. All the required books are available in the library to refer to, and it is the best part.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and well-experienced. They help throughout with the projects, assignments and answer all the doubts. The curriculum starts from basic and proceeds well for students to be eligible for high qualified jobs further. The curriculum also addresses the GATE exam, which many students prefer to opt for after 4 years. Faculty members are good. Only less importance is given to English as a language.
Other: Fest is the main attraction, and students get a lot of exposure in marketing, organising, and creativity from the fest. About 2 fests are conducted named Space and Spectra. The crowd is from Maharashtra, which is well-diverse.

Review of Sardar Patel College of Engineering.
Placements: About 75% of the students who attended campus placements got placed. The highest salary package offered was approximately 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were L&T Construction, Lodha Group and Ambuja Cement Ltd. From my course, at least 70% of the students got internships in different companies like Ambuja Cement and Ultratech.
Infrastructure: We were provided with digital classrooms and facilities of library, labs for all subjects and Wi-Fi. The hostel is also much better and gets even better when we go from 1st year to 2nd and then to 3rd year. Wi-Fi facility was also available in our hostel, and we also got a medical facility. There were a mess and canteen with hygienic food. There was a huge ground in front of the hostel, which contains football and cricket ground. Various sports are held near the workshop area.
Faculty: All the faculty members of our course were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is more than enough to get the topic very clear as they use some tools and resources also to teach the subject. To make students industry-ready, they provide various site visits in many areas, where we get a good experience along with the learning process.

Yes, you can get. The admission process of this college is governed by DTE, Maharashtra and done through the Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds. Hence, please apply by using DTE Maharashtra website.
