Absolutely satisfied, because of the faculty and good placement in 2024 .
Placements: 1) 70% to 80% of students have got a placement from the college. 2) The highest package for this year is INR 10 lakh and the lowest package offered is INR 4.5 Lacs, the average package offered is INR 5 Lacs. 3) Top recruiters are Torrent Power, MG Motors, and Tata Motors. L&T Godrej. 4) 90% of the students go out for internships in my course and the top companies are MG Motors, Tata Motors & L&T etc.
Infrastructure: The faculty of the college is very good and very approachable. The students and infrastructure of the college are pretty well and well maintained. Internet is accessible to the entire campus. The classrooms are pretty large and well-maintained, and the library is also very large and well maintained. Our hostel is also good. The mess, canteen, and medical facilities are awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and all the faculty members are PhD holders. The students are ready for the industry. The semester examinations are not difficult. The passing ratio of the colleges is good. 90 to 95% of the students pass the exams. Failing is very low Probability.
Other: I chose electrical because we can connect every field in the world of electricity. Without electrical, nothing is going to work, so I have decided to pursue this course. From time to time, events are organized perfectly and very nicely. Sports are also organized on the campus and the surrounding is also best.

It is the best college in Surat for engineering courses.
Placements: According to a 2018-19 report of the All India Survey of Higher Education (AISHE) powered by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Engineering is the third major stream with 37.70 lacs students enrolled in the undergraduate level. The share of male students enrolled in engineering and technology is 71.1% whereas female enrolment is 28.9%.
Infrastructure: The college mess keeps the track of students' nutrition and health. Their main focus is to keep students mentally and physically healthy so that they can do their studies and co-curricular activities with greater interest and enthusiasm with more energy. Home is better but the mess of our college is best.
Faculty: Difficulties are a part of our life and exams are one of them. The difficulty of exams is good but not much difficult to pass the exams. Therefore I would say that exams are a little bit hard but easier. The pass percentage of our college is above 98% and before the final year, they get 100% for sure.

It is the best place to make your future better.
Placements: Right now, I am in my 3rd year. As per our seniors, the placement cell here does not work and due to which only some of them got placed. There are a lot of internships, but due to Covid-19, we are facing difficulties. However, it is not a big issue as our college is doing its best.
Infrastructure: The hostel is awesome here. It provides a room for 3 students or 2 students, and there are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. There is a library, but there is no book. However, there is a table and desk. Wi-Fi does not work in a proper manner.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good in nature, and they provide a good experience and technical information regarding the subject. There have been online sessions due to Covid-19, but the faculty members are giving their best to make us feel good. They provide materials and books for good knowledge.
Other: I chose the electrical engineering course because I wanted to be an electrical engineer.

Our college is good to study and for job placements.
Placements: I got a nice placement from Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, and I got a nice salary package. Our college is the best for placements in Surat, Gujarat. I suggest every student to take admission at Sarvajanik College of Engineering, Surat.
Infrastructure: The hostel of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology is good, and it was reconstructed in 2018 in December. The entire hostel has Wi-Fi facilities. The quality of the food served here is the best.
Faculty: Faculty members of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology are highly qualified and are very helpful for students. Our college makes students industry-ready.

Good reputation, Normal infrastructure, Average placement.
Placements: 20-30 percent of students get placement from electrical course. The highest package offered till now is 15-16 Lacs and average packages offered is of 2-3 Lacs per annum. Some of the big recruitment companies are infosys, surya electrical and stone other local companies. The highest package offered in electrical branch is 6-7 Lacs per annum. 10-15 % students got internship from electrical branch. Average package in electrical is also 2 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is little bit of old types but Wi-Fi is provided in class and labs. Library is also good where you can get the different books to read. Hostel rooms are quite good in infrastructure but food in mess is not upto the mark. But the canteen food is very much good in taste. Sports facility are available in college as there is big cricket ground.
Faculty: Teacher are quite experienced and knowledgeable but some of them aren't teaching well and almost every time syllabus remain incomplete. So you need to self study at home. Course is not much relevant and it doesn't make us industry ready. We would need to take industrial training.
Other: I choose this course because I wanted to be in this college as it is nearby and has good reputation. I wished the course was more relevant to industries and more site visits would help the students. Many extra curricular activities are taking place like tech fest and dance competition and sports etc.

The infrastructure and facilities are good, but the faculty are not good compared to other colleges.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, particularly for the electrical department. Reputed companies visit the campus and recruit students with good packages. Last year, Torrent company had visited and hired about 12-13 students from this college. This college also has good training and placement staff. They are very cooperative and are always helpful for students in their placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SCET is good. SCET is planning to provide Wi-Fi facility, and it would be available for 2019 or 2020 batch. The infrastructure of classrooms is not good. Positions of fans are not good. Sometimes, projectors do not work, and benches in some classrooms are not good. There are two computer labs in SCET, in which some computers are slow, and do not work properly, and some computers are quite good but don't have advanced technology. The library is huge and is very useful for students to prepare for exams. SCET is not good at sports and other activities due to politics. Some good players do not get a chance in activities if they don't have friendship with the higher authority. The best point of SCET is its canteen. It is beautiful, and the quality of food is amazing. It offers varieties of food for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the electrical department are average. Some of them are highly qualified but not helpful for students. They are egoistic because of which students get into trouble. Some of the faculty members use different teaching methods to make students show interest in studies. They are helpful in projects as well. Honestly, there are politics among the faculty members, and students have to suffer from it.
Other: SCET college always organises different events to entertain the students. They also organise events for toppers and for the students who are brilliant in non-academic activities. They also arrange dance competition, singing competition, stand up comedy, suit and saree day, fashion show, etc., and prizes are distributed to the winners.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and ROI.
Placements: Around 35-40 students were placed in well-known companies like Infosys, IBM, TSC, and Reliance with a package of 3-6 Lacs per annum. It is the best college in Surat among the other GTU colleges. Placements were decent for my batch. Around 10-12 students were selected from our batch for Infosys.
Infrastructure: The main USP of SCET college is its infrastructure. The college has well-equipped classrooms with LCD projectors in each classroom. Labs are well-equipped with the latest technology equipment and have well-trained and cooperative lab assistants. The college also has a very famous canteen in its premises.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified. Each branch has qualified and experienced faculty. Especially, the faculty members in the electrical engineering branch have vast experience and use very different teaching pedagogy. The course curriculum is designed by GTU.
Other: The college conducts tech and cultural fests which are very popular in the city. SCET is situated in the heart of Surat city, which gives the college an edge.

The college has provided a very good launch pad to boost my career.
Placements: The college provided good placement opportunities to all the students. Around 60-70 students were paced from the batch 2010-2014. The location of our college is the biggest advantage. Students get opportunities in different sectors as companies from different fields visit the campus to offer placements. The placement reports are provided on the college website.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. The campus was equipped with all the latest facilities like Wi-Fi. Labs were equipped with all the latest technology, especially the electrical engineering branch. All the indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: The course curriculum followed by our college is designed by Gujarat Technological University, as our college is affiliated to the latter. Faculty members in the electrical engineering department are really good. They have a lot of experience in teaching, and almost 80% of the faculty members are PhD holders in their domain.
