Best Engineering College in Surat.
Placements: Around 60%-70% students were placed in the placements. The highest package is around 11 Lacs per annum, average is around 4.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest is around 2.6-3 Lacs per annum. Top companies recruiting are Reliance, TCS, Bhilosa Industries, Adani Hazira port, Opash software, Brevitaz systems. From my course around 40%-50% got internship in companies like Webforest, Inkey solutions, Uniqual.
Infrastructure: Facilities are better and infrastructure is best. Wi-fi facility available in the campus. Labs are well maintained and classroom look little old but are well-equipped with projector and other necessary things. Many food varieties available in and outside the campus. Every sports are played in their proper courts and has proper sports equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and friendly in nature. Most faculty members are PHDs holder in their fields and some are pursuing Ph.D. Teaching practice of faculty includes practical demonstration, project based tasks. Course is up-to the industry requirement. Semester exams are easy to crack if gone through all the notes and lectures of the faculty.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become software engineer. Everything that I required to become software engineer is available in the course. Many events, extracurricular activities and fests happens in the campus and crowd of Scet is energetic and fun loving. Scholarship like MYSY is provided by the Gujarat Government to students who scored above 80 percentile in the 12th boards.

Scet college - best college in Surat.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech it course in sarvajanik engineering college. The percent of the students placed in this course is about 60%. From what I have seen placements of my branch students, I can say that the average package is around 6-7lpa. The highest package is 24lpa. And the lowest package is around 3lpa. Wipro, infosys, ibm are major companies. Some students have got internships in these companies. Some of these are placed as manager role.
Infrastructure: Our college has average facilities. Like classes are larger. The reading hall and library are very clean and ambiance of it is peaceful. Here we are provided by jio Wi-Fi - we can have 1.5gb data daily. Apart from it, hostel is so big, clean and room condition is far better. One of the best part of our college is canteen - here all type of food is served. Taste of food is pretty good. Sports and game events are often hold in our college.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members are quite excellent. We are taught apart from out curriculum. Course is relevent. There is no argument against faculty. Semester exams are not too tough to pass. The passing percentage is 40% (24/60 in all subject). If a student gets failed in any subject, he will have to pay 750/- fees for re-examination.
Other: My acpc rank was 1700. I got admission in IT branch in tfws. And cutoff of the branch was around 5000. Students who have got percentile upto 80 can have mysy scholarship. Events, fest, extracurricular activities are quite good.

This college should be one’s first choice.
Placements: Average package offered is about 3-7 LPA, the highest is 17 LPA and lowest is 1.3 LPA. 70% students get placements. Many students get internships in their 2nd or 3rd year. The placement teach of the college is good as compared to that of other colleges.
Infrastructure: I would rate the infra as 8 out of 10. Many classrooms are available and all the labs are available including a textile lab. Instruments do not work properly in the labs as they give errors many a times. A turbine lab is also available in SCET.
Faculty: The college has average faculty but IT faculty is very good. But the faculty of departments like chemical are not friendly. First year’s faculty is not good but 2nd year’s faculty is good.

Better college to graduate.
Placements: As I have just completed my first year in this college, I am not completely aware of placements happening. But as much I know, there are good placements with an average of 3-4 LPA. And placements does not matter that much because everything depends on your skills. So work on that and that is it.
Infrastructure: It is spread into a pretty much big area in which it consists of each department of engineering and also other commerce and arts college are included in it. Hostel infrastructure is pretty satisfactory and also there are grounds for each sports such as cricket, football, badminton etc.
Faculty: Teachers vary individually because there are many teachers who are collaborative, helpful for any kind of problems and some are just being strict and just focusing on completing syllabus. Course is almost same as GTU but some of the portions are added under SU. Exams are also moderate and easy if you study in a proper way.
Other: I got admission through ACPC. Also I wanted an admission in Computer Science but I was unable to get admission so I got Information Technology and that is almost same. There has been so many events in just one year which were educative, fun and memorable such as exuberance, verve and so many.

Our college has a good campus, infrastructure & environment.
Placements: The college is big & revealed and many companies come towards us. So the placement percentage is high. Many top companies like Oracle, Indian Navy, Hivepro visit our college to hire our best students.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The infrastructure is very good. Library is very big as it has 3 floors. All labs have air-conditioners and are big. Classrooms do not have air-conditioners. We can play games like cricket and badminton on the campus ground as it is big. Many dancing activities are also held in the dome of our college. Every year we arrange many activities at the college dome.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified & knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good, but some teachers are not able to teach well. But they work hard to understand us. They all are helpful for every student. The semester exam is not so tough.
