Good campus and nice surrounding. I like it very much, and I'm peaceful to study here.
Placements: Nearly 80 percent of the students got placed in my course. The highest package is 5.5 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Honda, Schenider are the top companies for our course, I think, because my senior said that to me. I'm new to college, so I don't know about top roles. I have not discussed it with my seniors.
Infrastructure: Labs are okay, and the problem is available in hostel, but it's not working if we connect. Canteen food is okay, but a few things need to be improved. Few times insects are also there in the food. Fee collected in hostel is too high, and there is no discount for hostel students.
Faculty: We have a very good thing that we can write every 45 days one semester. We divide and learn all the things so that it is easy to complete. EXS facilities are very strict, and my Python mam teaches Python in an understandable form so that it is very easy for me.
Other: I have got this in counselling, but my wish is to study ECE. Still, I fitted my mind to it.

It has good study environment, but there is no fun in the college.
Placements: I say placement in my department is pretty much average, like the highest package is around 26-27 LPA. The percent of students placed in my department is around 25% because it is relatively easy to learn Data Science compared to other AI fields like machine learning. Most of them get a job as a data analyst. I didn't know about the internship opportunity that much, I think it would be around 30% percent at the best.
Infrastructure: I'm a hosteller from my school days, comparatively, it is much better than that because here they would give a non-veg option seven days a week. And the hostel infrastructure is not that bad compared to other colleges for the same price, here in my college, it is much better. In the case of college infrastructure, they have Wi-Fi everywhere, so no problem with that. Classes are also fully air-conditioned with smart lab facilities, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but not great, I would say, because it's a new field, my college didn't have that much experienced staff for my course. The curriculum is relevant, but that much great teaching involved because they by themself didn't know much. Semesters are pretty easy, without studying itself, you pass the subject, even if you can get an A+ grade if you are lucky. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: Comparatively, I would say it is somewhat value for money for my batch, but now they have increased the price so much, so I would suggest others to take this college. It would be better if they also focused on the fun side. It's our only college life, but I didn't enjoy it that much in college, other than studying. It has an average crowd, I wold say there is not much of crowd, but it is not so empty either.

To join under management quota you need to visit the college and make admission just by paying the fee and submitting the necessary documents. However, if you get an admission through counselling you will be asked to visit and confirm the admission by doing the same as in management quota.

Saveetha Engineering College does admit students via a management quota, which involves paying a donation. However, students admitted purely on merit—through their admission test (SEAT)—do not need to pay any donation.
