I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and facilities of this college.
Placements: About 99% of students in our college were placed. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. The lowest salary package is unknown and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Almost every girl I know is definitely getting placed as companies tend to focus on maintain girl to boy percentage.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in almost every corner of the college. The range might differ though and the labs are extraordinary. The hostel is good if you can manage to stay inside more than roaming around outside. You can even look for hostels outside the campus but the on-campus hostel is great too.
Faculty: Teachers at UPES are qualified and have foreign experience too. The graphics and communication students are getting every little detailed information. The pass percentage is 4 CGPA as per my knowledge. I don't think people should ever get this percentage as design is a beautiful course and it doesn't need learning but it needs creativity.
Other: I chose this course because I have a creative mind and I always wanted to do design. The particular batch attracted me because I am keen in technology and website or app aspects of society.

Really good infrastructure and facilities along with amazing faculty.
Placements: 99% were placed in amazing companies with a very good package. The highest package was of 4.5lpa average package was 2lpa and the lowest was 50,000 IBM, oracle, Microsoft, TATA, infosys, etc. Almost all students got internships from several companies. Graphic designer, video editor, illustrator, cartoonist, and many more.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure, with Wi-Fi, canteen, labs of various types for all courses, AC classrooms, huge library with almost 100 copies of almost all books. Everything is top notch, the medical facilities are there with not only a doctor but also a counselor.
Faculty: The faculty is highly knowledgeable in the area of subject they teach, they're very helpful, even if you call them for a doubt they would be available without any complaints. Yes, it does. The pass percentage is 32.5% and the exams are not that difficult just the seriousness is there.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in illustration and graphics. The best things about this course is that I am not only getting the chosen course syllabus but we also have minor and exploratory courses. Maybe more of nature interaction. We have urja every year and wow Wednesdays on every Wednesday.

It is the best place to study in Dehradun.
Placements: Our university provides quite good placements in top companies and design studios. It has a remarkable record of 100% placements. The average salary package offered ranges around 6-7 LPA, which is quite decent. Placement is not a huge issue if you study here.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with high-speed internet. It has proper labs considering the work, comprising I Macs and Cintiq studios. Library provides a good number of books regarding the course. Medical facilities are also provided by them. The food court is also quite great. It has 3 cafeterias and a large sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are from top companies with huge industrial work experience. They are knowledgeable. There are no written examinations for this course. Instead, they conduct juries in which we get our work reviewed by professionals and get marked on the basis of that.
Other: The best thing about the course is that the number of jobs in this field is in good amount. Searching for a job doesn't require much time, and you also get paid well.

Our college has a good and lush green environment.
Placements: From our college, around 70%-80% of the students get placed every year with good salary packages. About 60% of the students got internships from our college. Companies which visit here for placements are Earnest and Young, Deloitte, IBM, Mahindra, Google and many more. There are also mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: In our college and hostel, Wi-Fi facility is available. The library is equipped with Wi-Fi facility and air-conditioners, and the labs are high tech with new technology equipment. Our college is surrounded by greenery, and it makes it a peaceful and calm environment to study, which help students in groups.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and highly qualified, and they help outside the college also. They will take you to the companies to provide you with practical knowledge. The course curriculum is way better and good, which helps students to learn a lot through practicals as well as theory.
Other: Events and fest organised here are good. Our college maintains high discipline, and it has a dress code also. For managing discipline in the college, there is a separate student community which was ruled by good HODs.

An average college with mountain view, unstable weather, average placements.
Placements: As of now the first batch is just graduating, so the placements are yet to know. However the M.Des branch has average placements. Two students are going to be placed soon. In the next month we would get to know the result of placements. The M.Des students have gone for a Max package of 9.5 Lacs and minimum of 6 Lacs pa. Internships have been given to almost all students from 3rd year onwards. Many were placed in design firms like design directions, space wood furnitures etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Students are provided with high-speed Wi-Fi. Classroom are average. But the new one's being constructed are good. Medical facilities are not good. The availability of medicines is less. The food court is big, three storey's big with availability of different types of cuisines at affordable price. Hostel rooms are below average and should be made better. There is lack of lift in the food court.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. But it varies mainly as some of the faculty does't teach properly and some does. They do follow the curriculum. Teachers resort to the old school method of blackboard and also teaching through PowerPoint. We do get industry exposure. The students to faculty ratio is 1:15 for design students. Course curriculum is useful only in some cases.
Other: There are lots of students chapters and they organize annual cultural fest like uurja. Yugmak, hackathon etc. Are some of the other events conducted in the campus.
