One of the best off-campus colleges especially for the Science stream.
Placements: There are a few placements that I'm aware of. The placement drive happens through the society called the Placement and Internship Cell. Many well-known companies participated in it and the students were well prepared for it. For my course specifically there are very few opportunities but for B.Com, etc., there are lots of opportunities.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped. Infrastructure is also good. I think this is one of the best off-campus colleges. There are no hostels. The library is good with different sections for everybody. Computers are there. AC is there. Food is cheap in the canteen. Overall everything is Excellent. The printing shop is there too. Bru is also there. Epicuria is near the college where students go to relax.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is above expectations. There are lots of competitions and webinars happening. Alumni also interact regularly and guide us. Lots of courses are started too which make us ready for the outside world and provide practical knowledge. Teachers are well educated, too.
Other: The campus crowd could be better and there is not much connectivity. The campus surroundings are not safe for girls especially the Pink Line metro side. They take us out for field trips too.

Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is bad.
Placements: Not yet, as I am not graduated, but in the past, 5-6 students have been placed. Top companies are Apple, Decathlon, TCS, etc. Around 40% get internships. Practical-based knowledge and a helpful staff assist in this. Honestly, the course is good if you study well and are aware about opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, and the college has a good library. I don't live in the hostel, so I can't tell about it, but a few of my college mates live there, and they say that it's too good. The food in the canteen is also good, and hygiene is fully maintained. Sports area is too good, with a huge complex.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course is relevant as it is based on plants and livelihood. It makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not difficult. Honestly, if you study thoroughly, passing in practical exams is more important.
Other: See, I choose this course because I have a huge interest in this field, and because of this, I choose Biology in class 12th. The best thing about my course is the knowledge of plants that we see daily. I would like to improve the teaching methods of teachers. Events are good, and the fest, which is called Vibration, is brilliant. The campus surroundings are good, and the college is the best in extracurricular activities.

Satisfied with the botany department.
Placements: Placements are terrible. You have to find and do internships on your own without any support from the college if you're expecting placements. There is a placement cell and internship cell in the college, but they are not very effective. Most science course students have very low chances of placements.
Infrastructure: The labs are decently equipped with proper facilities. There are 3 labs for the Botany department. Wi-Fi is available in the library. There is no hostel for the college, so students live in PGs or rented flats. The college has one of the biggest grounds in Delhi University. Football, basketball, cricket, and tennis are the main sports available.
Faculty: The faculty in the Botany department is great. The professors are highly qualified with a very helpful attitude. Internals are conducted one month before semester exams. Semester exams are mostly based on previous year's question papers for science courses. The exams are not that hard. Practical exams consist of viva as well.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Our college does not provide many placements for our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities like classrooms, labs, etc. Labs are helpful for students during experiments. Wi-Fi is available in smart classrooms. We have a central library. It has all books. The hostel is very good. Medical facilities are the best. The food served in the mess is healthy. Sports facilities are the best in our college.
Faculty: All faculty members are very good. The teaching quality is good. Professors are very helpful and highly qualified. They have done many research work in botany. They are highly knowledgeable and talented. The curriculum is very strict. All students are studying very well. We have a relevant syllabus. Semester exams are not much difficult. Students who studied well got high marks. After completing graduation, students can work in botanical gardens and other plant-related research.
Other: Students of our college are selected in many sports leagues in India. This course is good for students who are interested in plants. Students have done higher studies in botany. They have worked on research of new plant characters and other beneficial things. I chose this course because of my interest in lab work. I am curious about plants and their processes. Events and fests are very excellent in our college. Many celebrities visit our college during fests. Our college provides scholarships.

Our college has a big campus, a nice crowd, and lots of activities.
Placements: You can get placements in our college if you have a commerce background but not in science courses. You can try in a research field or in teaching, but don't expect placements etc. So work hard and get admission to a good Masters college and course. It will benefit you further.
Infrastructure: We have air-conditioned facilities, Wi-Fi on campus, and our classes are fully ventilated. Our campus is also big, with many societies for dance, music, poetry, acting, lgbtq+, fashion, business, NSS, and robotics, so you can choose according to your interests. We also have NCC for B and C certificates.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite helpful but not regular in taking classes. They are not strict either. So you will only have to submit an assignment at the end of the semester. Semester exams are difficult because they are the same for all students studying at Delhi University.

I am satisfied with the college and it is the best college.
Placements: You won't get placements specifically in the field of Botany but you will get summer training and academic internships all during the summer vacations. Other than that we got a very active placement cell that works for every student and providers different internships and different quality companies where we can act as an intern.
Infrastructure: The college has a very attractive and beautiful infrastructure which is Wi-Fi enabled. It has got every facility that a college should have the classrooms are of fine quality. The labs have every sort of material that is required and are very helpful. There are very advanced machines in the labs that help us a lot in research projects.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are your mentors. They not only help you in your studies but your matters also. Teachers are very good and knowledgeable. They all are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant and they give quality education. Semester exams are not tough. If you study continuously along with the previous year's questions paper you can easily crack your semester exams.
Other: I chose botany because I had little interest in this field and now that interest has grown up to the top of anything. The way teachers help me, supported me, and gave a chance, and exposed me to different fields has helped me a lot to develop my interest in it.

It is the best college in placements, aura, faculty members, experience, etc.
Placements: For placements, Shivaji College is the best. However, it is up to students' choice that they want to get placed or not. Just like in Delhi University, there are two types of students, of which some want to do masters, and others want to crack government exams. In our course, around 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.73 crore per annum, which is offered to a zoology honours student in 2019, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Genpact, Lido Learning and Paytm. Around 55% of the students got an internship in Josh, Genpact and Paytm. A student in 2019 became a scientist at the research centre, and many students got roles of business development manager and marketing manager.
Infrastructure: I think one of the best things about Shivaji College is its infrastructure. I liked it the most because of its huge and fascinating library. The library of Shivaji College is one of the biggest libraries in DU. The other thing is computer labs are air-conditioned, and there are clean washrooms. Water coolers are also clean and updated. There is a rock garden, which is very beautiful and has around different types of rocks in it. Other gardens are also very pretty, and there are 105 different types of flowers. Classrooms are fully digital. Wi-Fi is very good, but sometimes it shows problems. There is no hostel in Shivaji College. There is a canteen for serving food, but the food is not that good like DU is famous for its canteen. Still, in front of the college, you can get everything to eat, which is also delicious and easily affordable. Our college has a Mother Dairy shop in it and a Nescafe shop. The sports complex is huge like our fest also happened in the sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful not only in studies but also personally. They are highly qualified and also very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good for some teachers and good for some teachers. Botany is the course in which you get to know about plants, trees, agriculture, bacteria, virus and many things. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this because botany has much scope in the future. The best thing about this course is I get to know different things each day. I can grow vegetables at my home. There is a high load of writing, and writing makes a student dull because they only copy and didn't get anything. So, I suggest the college to reduce it. Shivaji College is one of the best in India for the commerce course.

The campus is beautiful, and the placements are good.
Placements: The college was the best compared to all the colleges. The surroundings of our college look good and beautiful. The average internship opportunities provided in our college is high. There were many placements in the college, but the interviews held were tough. There were five buildings in the college. Various companies were invited to our college to hire the students.
Infrastructure: The college provides all the facilities for students. Classrooms are excellent, and they look beautiful. The Wi-Fi facility provided in the college is good, and the internet connectivity is fast enough. The library in the college is good. They organise sports and games regularly.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are sincere, very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. There are around 5000 to 6000 students in the college. The courses like specialisations in subjects like biology, botany, mathematics, and physics are offered.
Other: The campus is good and beautiful. The college connectivity is excellent.
