This is the best college.

Placements: This college offers very good quality and quantity rate of placement, even the placement cell of this college is very helpful. The placement society is the best in the West to help you with placement. The placement cell also offers a very good rate of the placement enhanced by them.

Infrastructure: The best infrastructure this college has. This college has air-conditioned and well-maintained library and labs. Even the classrooms are well maintained, and are properly enhanced with air conditioning, smart boards, etc. This college has the biggest sports ground that any West campus college ever.

Faculty: Best ever and supportive faculty members ever. Most supportive faculty members. They always help you to work through your problems.

Other: Best college on West campus, even though the fest is also bomb.

It has good infrastructure, facilities, good teachers and non-teaching staff members.

Placements: The course that I am pursuing does not have many placements. Students prefer further studies in the field of science. Once there was a student in previous batches who got placed. For my course, there are not much of options for placement and for a well-earning job, a B.Sc is not enough.

Infrastructure: In my department, there are two well-maintained labs with good infrastructure. It has well-equipped equipment required for practicals. We have classrooms too which are well-maintained. There is a Wi-Fi facility for both students and staff members. Our college has a library too which has all books required for our curriculum. We don't have a hostel facility and one has to stay in a PG or flat for accommodation.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and quite helpful too. They teach us well. One who will pay attention to them will easily understand. The course curriculum is relevant for further studies in this field. Along with internship and summer training programs, a student can get ready for industry. But one has to take hands-on experience. The college semester exams are fine if a student studies properly. The pass percentage is 40%.

A happy inside, satisfied with the college because everything meets my expectations.

Placements: There's no such placement occurring in our course because the college provides only undergraduate on my course. But the placement cell guides the students about their future study plan in biochemistry. The teachers are involved with students about their internship ideas and help them for internships in different educational and research institutions.

Infrastructure: The faculty is fully air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi and well-equipped laboratories. There's no burden on any instruments, there are a lot of instruments so that each and every student gets the chance to do all experiments and practicals on their own. There's a decent canteen which provides basic snacks and hygienic food. The sports ground is very big with cricket, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and many indoor game facilities provided by the college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, experienced, and highly skilled. They have mentor-mentee meetings on a regular basis to interact with students and ask about their progress and problems in any field. The semester exams are not so hard, they're strictly based on the syllabus.

Other: This course in this college is highly rated by Delhi University colleges, and the college has a very good NIRF ranking. There's a fee concession for the students whose family income is less than 3 Lacs annually.

It is the best off-campus college in DU for biochemistry.

Placements: Placements at Shivaji College are pretty good. But since I am from science, I don't know much about the arts and commerce students. Pass-out students got a salary package of 16 LPA. Most students from a science background go for higher studies rather than placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities in the biochemistry department are excellent. The biochemical department is a part of the DBT Star College Scheme, and I am funded by the DBT. The new block in the college provides the best facilities. All the equipment is well-maintained in the lab.

Faculty: The biochemistry department has one of the best faculty members in Shivaji College. It is the best off-campus college in DU for biochemistry. All faculty members have done their Ph.D.s from prestigious universities like JNU, BHU, etc. The college is now following the NEP syllabus with a four-year course. Semester exams are not very difficult and can be tackled by proper study methods. Biochemistry depth has a minimum pass percentage of 90% in all batches.

Other: There is a fee refund for economically weak students, which is a good initiative.

College infrastructure is good, and environment around college is peaceful.

Placements: College placements are up to the requirements. Most students prefer to do a Master's ahead of this course. In our college, different science-related programs are conducted every year. Summer internship is also offered to students, which helps most in building CVs.

Infrastructure: College is really good. All classrooms, labs, and library are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available. Equipment in sports complex is also well-maintained. Canteen is hygienic and quality of the food is also good. Medical facilities are available near our college.

Faculty: Professors are very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is flexible and interesting. Professors also forward science-related internships and programs in a common group, which is most helpful for building a good CV.

Other: I chose this course because I was keen to know things which are related to science and this course is the best.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal.
