Review of Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering (SSJCOE).
Placements: There are all kinds of students such as academically average students and studious. Our college provides good placements and has nice tie-ups with multinational companies. Godrej and Wipro are top recruiting companies for production engineering. All kinds of students get the opportunity to attend interviews expect for those who have failed in subjects.
Infrastructure: Overall, the structure of our college and its premises are good and well maintained. Our college provides Wi-Fi facility and a library to gain knowledge. Classrooms are well maintained and are taken care of by the college staff members. There is no hostel as our college is in a town. So, mostly, students studying here are from the town.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified with a BE degree as well as ME degree. They are knowledgeable, and they help us in gaining knowledge. They clear our doubts also. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. Teachers take the initiative to conduct industrial visit as well.
Other: Production engineering is all about machines and manufacturing, and I also have an interest in machines. So, I have chosen this course. There is no need for betterment in our course. Our college organises events and also fests.

It is the best college in Thane district.
Placements: Companies like Siemens provide internships for production engineers. A lot of companies provide internships. As I am in the 7th semester of the production branch, I have the best experience because this course is a combination of every basic thing of branch production engineering and core things of any branch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available here as they are working on that. In the canteen, lots of dishes are not available, and crispy food served is the best thing in our college. Students have the best life in this college. I enjoyed every time which I spent in our college. Now, our college is going to provide sports days in January. There are no girls in production engineering branch.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, and you can ask them for help at any time. If you visit our college once, then you will never want to leave as this is the best college. HOD production engineering is the best, and the teachers are also the best. Every mam and sir is friendly with us.
Other: The campus surroundings are good, and the entire campus is lush green.

Placements: Placements are good only if you are eligible for the criteria. Prepare yourself for a good interaction with the companies that visit our college for the on-campus interview. Many good companies come for the on-campus interview selection.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Shivajirao S Jondhale College of Engineering is awesome, and necessary infrastructure such as labs classrooms, library, gymkhana and a canteen is available on campus. The college has two playgrounds for activities.
Faculty: The faculty members were quite helpful and coordinated along with the students. They always help the students regarding any matter. The teachers have good experience in their respective subjects.

Dissatisfied because of teaching quality and placement.
Placements: Placements for production department is almost None. Because None of the company interested for placements. But last year godrej came for placement. Godrej company comes for placements for production department if they have any shortage of labours and conditions for interview for godrej is -
1) students should not have any A. T. K. T in any semester and if student is from Diploma got admission in second year, he/she should not have any A. T. K. T in Diploma as well as engineering.
2)student should have C. G. PA more than 6.5 in all semester. So almost 7-8 selected only for placement from whole class. And only 1-2 selected for company by chance. Salary offered by them is 3.6 lac per annum.
8th semester is of internship mandatory by Mumbai university. Top 20 students get internship in siemens from college and rest students need to find company for internship themselves.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good not very bad. They are good enough. Wi-Fi facility is available but has no internet connection. Classrooms are quite air friendly and big. Library facility is satisfactory but lab assistant is rude. Some labs are not well maintained but some are in good conditions. Metrology and inspection lab isn't good. Tools are instruments are limited. Workshop having old machineries and rusty. But the good fact about college is canteen and games
Students are so active in sports and the extra curricular activities happening in college and canteen serves very tasty food veg as well as non veg too (non veg available from jan 2018). .
Faculty: Faculty is supportive during submissions. They do not pressure students to give submission on date. Every teacher did Masters in their profession but still not have teaching skill. They are not knowledgeable compared to other colleges. Some teachers are not having enough skill and knowledge they just teach us by reading whatever in the book.
Other: Nowdays most of the events and groups forming. Like few days ago robotics lab have founded by technical secretary and college also registered to IEEE community and have IEEE student branch. Technical fest is in odd semester named nirmiti and cultural fest is in even semester named oddessy. Campus is big as college is in jungle?
