A glimpse of my college.

Placements: 80% of students are placed every year. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top recruiter companies are Wipro, TCS, and Accenture. 30% of students get placed in internships, mostly in IT. The top role offered in my course is supervisor in a company.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are enough to be satisfied in our course. We have a smart board facility in our classroom, and we have a practical lab facility for our course, which helps to understand topics very clearly. We also have Wi-Fi, but for limited use only, and we also have a library. We don't have a hostel in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and also qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is amazing. They help students in every aspect and never hesitate to help. The course curriculum is also the best, and in four years, I think they will make students ready for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is normal, not very hard or very easy.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in it. The best thing about this course is you can get a variety of machine knowledge. I think the college should add more practicals in our lab for our course.

It is the best college in terms of studies and enjoyment.

Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 mechanical batch. Most of the students got placed in the CE course. The highest salary package offered off-campus is 10 LPA in the mechanical engineering course. All students get internships in the mechanical course at L&T company, etc. Our college provides training and placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. All branches are in one building. There are different floors. Games are organised every year. Our college provides sports and games. The hostel is not available on the college campus. There is no canteen in our college. Medical facilities, Wi-Fi, a library, a lab, and classrooms are the best.

Faculty: Teachers have good teaching skills. There are the best professors. Most of them focus on understanding the concepts, exams, and presentations. Education is not just about filling a bucket, it is about lighting a fire. Faculty members provide exam-related study materials and guide and teach their best for students.

Other: I am from the 2021-2025 mechanical batch. Our college conducts a technical fest named Tech Fest and a cultural event named Vivir. It is the best campus.

College is good enough but fees are too high compare to quality of college.

Placements: Placements are well enough but still there is room to improve, placement department is not good enough they need to hire better employees for this. They don't actually focus on your career they just focus on the exam and I don't think there is even 50% placement rate.

Infrastructure: In library there is no books available that you may read for exams mostly books are out of syllabus and quality of books are too poor, after a long term vacation there's dust over all classroom benches we need to clean it by ourselves and they doesn't provide Wi-Fi facilities network inside building is too poor sometimes you can't even make a simple call.

Faculty: Faculty members especially our mechanical department faculty members are good they helped and behaviour was nice too they are good in teaching too and also helpful in labs And when it comes about course this college is under GTU and syllabus of this university is really bad.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and good placements offered in 2018.

Placements: The average salary package offered in our college is around 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Roles offered in our course are as supervisor or company employee or online application lecturer. For mechanical engineering, ONGC and L&T companies visit here and provide offers and opportunities to us. Students who have up to 7 SPI or pass all subjects are eligible to attend placements. At the end of the 7th semester, many departments arrange campus interviews as a part of extended duties towards students.

Infrastructure: As to provide instant medical facilities to students and employees on the campus, there is one ayurvedic college in our institute near Surat station. The college is equipped with many advanced medical instruments. Students of the technology stream require more practical knowledge and computer knowledge, so SSASIT has emphasised giving students great knowledge on computer operations and practical operations. This institute is well equipped with various labs. The centre tries to provide students with sufficient knowledge about operations/programming and uses of computer in their routine activities. SSASIT is equipped with well-furnished classrooms, which are specially designed for students. They are spacious, airy and well-lit. Classrooms have the latest training aids with audio-visual interaction. Well furnished small rooms are also available for specialisation and tutorial classes. All classrooms comprise of latest audio-visual facilities. The college has an in-campus well maintained and spacious sports ground with lush green grass to support sports activities on the campus. The playground supports various outdoor sports such as cricket, football, badminton, basketball, cricket, etc. For indoor games, there is a well-equipped sports room. Sports competitions are held every year. Sports are essential not only for the physical fitness and growth of students but also essential for their mental growth. We believe in a perfect union between brains and brawns in SSASIT. In this institute, there is a seminar hall with all facilities and an accommodation capacity of 250 students, which is used for conferences, quizzes, roleplaying, etc. There are three different seminar rooms for departmental seminars or pedagogy sessions. The canteen facility is available on the campus. A canteen committee appointed by the principal will monitor the regular activities of the canteen. It helps to have refreshment for students as well as for staff members during college hours. Most of the daily needed items and refreshments are available within the campus in the institute's canteen, which is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are separate common rooms for boys and girls with adequate facilities. It helps students to have refreshment during college hours.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well-qualified and experienced who will guide you in the right way. They are helpful not only on working days but also helpful on non-working days. The knowledge which you gain here will be beneficial for you as per the industry aspects. Most importantly, you will be nurtured as a good human being in terms of personality. This institute provides a language lab for students, which is used for language tutorials. In a language lab, lessons and exercises are recorded on a weekly basis so that students are exposed to a variety of listening and speaking drills. This language laboratory session also includes word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits, etc.

Other: SSASIT is equipped with high workshop facilities. The workshop is the main for practical implementation of technical knowledge in the field of engineering. The college has a well-equipped workshop with the required tools and machinery. SSASIT workshop also provides CNC machine facilities.

College, infrastructure and facilities are very good, but the fee is a bit expensive.

Placements: Overall, the college is good, and it has a very big campus. In this college, many placements are offered, and many companies also visit here. The placement drive is conducted 2 times a week in other companies. Students get good jobs and internships.

Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities, but PGs are available at around 3 to 5 km. The cost is around Rs. 5,000 per month.

Faculty: Our college faculty members and staff members are well-qualified with a PhD and masters in a particular branch, and they have proper fieldwork experience. They also have good knowledge and personality. Staff members are sufficient for a proper branch. Mechanical engineering is one is the best, and all faculty members are very good at our college.

Other: The college is expensive, but it is as per Gujarat government rules. The fee structure for all colleges is fixed by the state government.

It is a good college for those who want to make a career in computers and IT branch.

Placements: In the mechanical branch, there are no proper placements. But there are good placements in other branches. Even in the mechanical field, only marketing companies are offered in our college. The salary packages offered are not satisfactory. Overall good placements are offered in other branches than mechanical.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a good environment and facilities. The college has a proper lab, workshop, parking, ground, canteen, and entrance. But one main issue is that there are proper instruments in our workshop and lab. Neither there are knowledgeable instructors in our college.

Faculty: All the faculty members are good. The staff member is humble but strict. Even they help us to achieve a proper designation in the proper place. Our HOD is also good. The principal of our college is a faculty member of our mechanical branch.

Our college is located in the centre of the city.

Placements: Around 70% of the students who want to do the job were placed. The salary offered varies from Rs. 12,000-30,000 per month. Placements are not that good, and MNCs never visit here for placements. Top recruiting companies for our course are large scale companies like Artoon and Matrix. Different roles like a developer, android, IOS, web, NET and game developer are offered to the students in our course. About 50% of the students from our class got an internship.

There are good faculty, but placements in our college are not better than other colleges.

Placements: I completed B.E. in mechanical in 2019. Almost 150 students in mechanical got placed during the pass out year. Small scale companies visit here for placements. There were 5 people who selected students for the recruiting process. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month.

Infrastructure: There are not many facilities. Only Wi-Fi facility is provided by the college. Our college fee is low as compared to other colleges of Gujarat Technology University. Our college does not provide hostels. Sport and game rooms are available on the fourth floor in the college.

Faculty: All faculty members in the mechanical department completed their master degree in mechanical and upper graduate. So all faculty support in education and other activities likes competitive exams. This course curriculum is relevant. The industry exposure provided is very useful.

Other: The mechanical engineering field was very popular when I completed my 12th standard. So I preferred mechanical engineering. I will get placed in a reputed company, and I will improve my skills. Every year, tech fest is organised. All nearby GTU colleges participate in this. Scholarships are provided by Gujarat sarkar for students with more than 90% in 12th standard.
