B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

College is average for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, good campus, supportive faculty members.
Placements: Placements are average in this college for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. Almost 70% of students are placed, but not in top MNCs, with an average package of 2-3.5 LPA. Industries that visit our college for placements are Bajaj, Airbagla, Hyosung, Parason. Also, big companies like Skoda, TCS, and TATA visit, but they choose limited students.
Infrastructure: There are neither poor nor good facilities, but average facilities available for Mechanical Engineering. There is a good internet connection on PCs, and labs are also average. Classrooms are good, and the library is also good. Hostel facilities are good, but the mess is very poor, and the food quality in the mess is very poor. The canteen is good. Medical facilities are available because there is a hospital on our college campus. For sports, there are large grounds available.
Faculty: Yes, for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, the faculty members are very supportive, and the HOD is also very supportive and of good nature. Well-qualified staff are there. The teaching quality is not bad but not excellent. Yes, it helps make students industry-ready because the faculty members provide high support on student projects. Semester exams are difficult because this is not an autonomous institute; this is a DBATU University-affiliated institute. Therefore, the passing percentage is average, meaning 75%.
Other: Because I have a strong interest in Al/ML Technology, but because of my low percentile in MHT CET I have low percentile because of that my second preference is Mechanical Engineering. Machine Learning means robotics and automation, and on the other side, mechanical engineers also deal with machines. In this course, practical knowledge is very important. Mostly, events are celebrations. And in the new academic year, a TechFest is organised. The campus is good, but the surrounding is not good because the college is placed near Tanda. Vast scholarships are available by Mahadbt. And also, extra-curricular activities are conducted by all departments, but a very low amount is in the Mechanical department because there are more diploma holders than regular or 12th pass students in the 2nd year. Because of that, 50% of students are doing jobs.

All colleges in Aurangabad are doing such a scam, so be aware!
Placements: There is no placement. The TPO of the college contacts the consultancy, and they provide jobs by consultancy; they all just show up to attract admissions, and when I was in my final year, they brought rantnaprabha shourum as a placement, and they sprint a news story on paper as they place their students in Mahindra and Mahindra, so those who are newer don't fall for this scam. When I was a younger boy in 2021, they told me there were lots of placement like Mahindra and Mahindra, but they couldn't give you anything; they gave you just a chocolate, which means they made you a fool. !
Infrastructure: This is average but not so good. There are workshops, but they are not properly cleaned, and they do not give funding to projects of students. When I was in my final year, and I wanted to participate in ATVC, so that time when I went to my above department for funding, they couldn't pay, and when I gave them admission, they gave us funding when our competition is 10 days away.
Faculty: Faculty are more supportive, but college management is not. The college management just needs admissions. Teaching is very nice, and faculty are always ready to clear our doubts and teach us, so the faculty are good. But not the management.

Satisfied with the faculty members for their kindness and helpful nature.
Placements: Placements for our senior batches were good. Many companies participated in the job fair arranged by our former TPO. Marathwada Job fair was one of the biggest in the Marathwada region. More than 30 companies visited the campus for placements. As of today, the placements are going well. In May 2019, the current TPO arranged campus drives by inviting 4-5 MNCs, and they are planning to arrange Marathwada Job fair 2019 in June. The average salary offered for mechanical engineering is Rs. 12,000-15,000 per month. For internships, the TPO has good tie-ups in Aurangabad and other places, so it is easy to get an internship in MNCs. Approximately, 60% of the students were placed from our senior batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is above average. Buildings aren't very close to each other, there is a lot of space. The view of our college is pleasant in the rainy season. It doesn't have great infrastructure compared to IITs. The canteen is not good, it is contract-based. The good thing about our college is that a stationary shop is present on the campus. So, we don't need to travel anywhere for photocopies or to buy anything.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good at teaching. They become good friends with students. They guide the students well for their career. You can consult any faculty to solve any question or query regarding syllabus or industry, they will be happy to help you.
Other: The social gathering of our college is average. The fee structure of our college is low compared to any other college in the Marathwada region. It is recognised by AICTE.

It is a good college for Mechanical Engineering Course in B.Tech.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in the Mechanical Engineering course. In my batch, there are a total of more than 55 students. The highest package offered in my college for a job is 15 LPA, and the average package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest package offered by our college is 7 LPA. 70% of students get hired from my college.
Infrastructure: A great educational environment is provided for students to study and help them to develop their skills. In my department, there are special computer labs to do practicals and to get the actual experience of theory subjects and learn more about them.
Faculty: All teachers are very highly educated and skilled so all students will easily get their doubts clear with the help of their teachers. All semester exams are quite difficult but by studying hard, we can crack exams easily. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose this course for my personal development in machine designing and students also get placed with good job offers.

The college is good for average students with a CET of 10-50 percent.
Placements: About 75-80 percent of students get placed every year. The package is starting from 2 LPA, and on average, 2.5 LPA-3 LPA, and the highest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Skoda, Bhagyalakshmi Rolling Mill (Polaad), Bharat Forget, Bajaj, and OMR Bagla. Almost 80-90 percent of students got internships in the above companies or in MIDCS (Waluj, Chikalthana).
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure, in my opinion, is good. There are network issues in the department because of the underground, but the Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs are available. Classrooms are also good. The library is also good, and all books are available in the library. The facilities like bus, hostel, canteen, and stationery are available in college, and also the beautiful, big green campus. The mess food is average. The medical facilities are also available because there is a B.A.M.S. Hospital present on the campus, and the sports group is good enough.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable also. The teaching quality is good when there is some response from students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes it industry-ready because of the new education policy 2024. The semester exams are conducted by the University of DBATU. The exams are tough, but passing is easy. Out of 60 marks, you have to score only 20 marks, and also 12 marks for the MCQs added advantage.
Other: Mechanical engineering is an always-demanding branch, and lots of opportunities are available in this branch, like in government sectors, higher studies, and research work. In the course, the new technologies should be added because the AI era is running now. Events like Tech fest (Takshayantra), a national-level competition, are arranged every year, and an annual gathering. The campus surroundings should be better. Scholarships are available. Lots of extracurricular activities are conducted by the college or various departments.
