The college is great, which makes students learn practically.
Placements: 99.65% of students are placed in the past year. The highest package offered is 32 LPA in the last year from our college. The lowest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Bosch, Dell, Amazon, and Mercedes-Benz. Approximately 50% of students secured internships in Bosch, Marco Polo, Infosys, Google and many more companies. The top roles offered are software engineer, backend engineer, and design engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided to students are great. We are provided with great lab facilities with good computers. The library has many books to read from. Hostels are great and there are 3 hostels for boys. All hostels are maintained cleanly. The food in the mess is also great with full vegetarian meals. Sports facilities are very good and sports sir is friendly too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and interactive. They teach very well and are thorough about the teaching. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant, and the teaching provided makes us industry-ready. They teach us practically not just by making us memorize. However, they also prepare us for real-time problems. Semester exams in our college are pretty tough as the college is VTU-affiliated and follows the VTU syllabus. The pass percentage is above 40%. The department faculty members teach well and clear doubts if we have any. They are very interactive in the class.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding. The best thing about my course is the flexibility I get. I would improve the limited languages being taught to us. Many events and fests are organised compared to other colleges. The campus is usually crowded with students but it is very spacious. The campus surroundings are good as many useful shops like stationery and bakery are there. Scholarship opportunities are available too.

Good infrastructure and green campus, but not satisfied with teachers, administration, and syllabus.
Placements: Around 30% of students are getting placed but it's still the start of our final year so we are expecting more to go.
The highest package for now is 11.5 LPA, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA.
London Stock Exchange is the top recruiter.
70% of the students got their internships through referrals and the selection process.
SDE , backend engineer, GET, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college has WiFi, good ambience, an indoor stadium, temple , library, study room, labs, etc.
Canteen serves pretty good food.
The college competes in intercollegiate and VTU matches, has an indoor gym, WiFi throughout the campus inside building , and every medical need is attended to by SDM Medical College. It has a big ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and qualified but we expect more knowledge of recent technology and they need to update themselves.
No, the course is not relevant. VTU makes the worst syllabus ever and you never can understand its intention.
Pass percentage is 40% and semester ends are pretty difficult but manageable.
Other: I love computer and coding so I chose this branch.
I hate the education system as whole so it's not about college but the syllabus needs to be updated, and so do teachers.
Scholarships are applicable. We have the best fests and highest frequency of fests in the city.

Totally to sum it up it's a great college and overall an experience for a lifetime.
Placements: This college has a good placement record from past few years. Top companies like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS just to name a few and many more top companies also come to this campus. In the year 22-23 9 students we're selected to a ger-man based company. It finally depends on students if you ask.
Infrastructure: This college has a free Wi-Fi in class and as well as in the hostel. The classes are well maintained the food is South INdian but good. There are events and sports conducted every year. The wardens are a little bit strict but it's only temporary as you go.
Faculty: All the teachers are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing Ph.D. The teaching here is top notch no cap but you don't have to do self study and all case the teaching is amazing. It is an autonomous college so the portions are from here itself and it is affiliated to vtu so you get the degree from vtu.

Good infrastructure, good placements compared to other colleges in Surrounding Districts .
Placements: 80-85% of students are placed from every department in our college, Avg package varies from 6-7lpa, Service based Companies and product based Companies Visit for hiring in our campus, Placement Record is excellent in Recent years, Average package and the highest package is Good.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi faculty for all students and staff in our college in every corners of the college. Wi-Fi is good even in hostel and library for Projects and Extra activities, We even have Sports complex and Canteen, One bakery is also present. We have a temple and Garden Area for Sitting.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful in every students problems faced in Curriculum and in Extra Activities. Faculty are very much Enthusiastic and Encouraging For students in Cultural activities and Academic Performance. Many Clubs are present in Campus to Enjoy and participate in events.
Other: We are having one fest every year called insignia, freshers for every new year students, and some core committees programs every Sem from every department.

Overall placements are good.
Placements: Almost all students with an IT background are placed. The placement process consists of three tiers. 3rd tier below INR 5 lacs, 2nd between INR 5 and 9 lacs, and 1st above INR 9 lacs. About 80% of the students were placed this year. I'm studying computer science and engineering. The course is very good.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped laboratories that will help the students learn the subjects thoroughly, and the laboratories have modern computers. Students have access to internet 24*7. The college has a library where there are books related to almost all subjects.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Teachers not only teach theories, but they also help you identify your interests and skills and help you reach your goals. Teachers use PowerPoint presentations and animations to explain the subject thoroughly with examples.

It is a good college with a good environment.
Placements: The salary packages are good. The highest package offered is 63 LPA, and the average is more than 5 LPA. Many reputed companies, like Dell, Amazon, Walmart, Tribune Turbines, TCS, Accenture, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities. There is good food in the hostel, and sports facilities are there as well. There is a good environment to study in. The rooms in the hostel are good, clean, and tidy. The classrooms are good and have an atmosphere where people want to study. We have a spacious library and temples for peace and prayer.
Faculty: We should score more than 40 to pass the course at our college, including internal and external exams. They keep internal assessments. We are eligible only if we score more than 20 marks. Out of a best of 3, 2 are selected and should score 20. The other marks are taken from the final exam and the average of those.
Other: The fest rally functions are kept on campus.
Computer science, electronics and communication, information science, and many other branches are available to opt for in SDM Engineering College.

It has good placements for CS branch, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in the CSE department. The highest package offered was around 14 LPA, and the average package was around 4-5 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Accenture etc. The companies offer many roles like developer, tester, management roles etc. Teachers help us get many internship offers. If we are interested, we can join them.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are quite good. The food is quite good compared to other institutions. There is a huge ground where all the sports activities are conducted. The library is huge, and there are many big rooms for us to study easily. The hostel rooms are spacious, and some rooms have 3 beds, 4 beds and some even have 2.
Faculty: All the teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. If the students are interested in the subject, the teachers eagerly teach them. If we ask any doubts, the teachers clarify them. The course curriculum is good and is relevant, and it makes the students focus on all subjects to be industry-ready.

Our college has the value for money paid.
Placements: Our college offers a good number of placement opportunities. About 80% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered varies from year to year, but it is always above 11 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Many companies offer internships. But the college supports internships only in 8th semester. Some of the companies recruiting very often are Radisys, Juniper Networks, Dell, Sony, Informatica, HP, Skype, Allegion, Mind Tree, Global Edge, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very good. The hostel is inside the campus. There are 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. The food served in the mess is very good, and hygiene is maintained. The hostel is well furnished, and a minimal amount is charged. The amount taken for hostel student is around Rs. 46,000, including the mess fee. College library is well furnished and updated with plenty of books. It is open for 12 hours a day. Free Wi-Fi is provided for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The syllabus coverage is a plus point of our college. Teaching along with the real-life applications is done in the college by giving various projects. The course curriculum is changed frequently by taking suggestions from industrial experts. Many trainings and workshops are conducted.
Other: Total college fees, if you are admitted, under KCET will be around Rs. 65,000. If you are looking forward to COMEDK, then it is nearly Rs. 1,90,000 and management seat depends on the branch you select. Hostel fee is the same for everyone which comes around Rs. 46000 every year. Our college is NBA accredited.
