Our college is the best and almost every student gets a job.
Placements: In the civil branch, about 79% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: All are available in our college and nothing is a fault. In our college, we have big grounds.
Faculty: Our college has the best teachers. Exams are difficult. When I came to this college, I was very fearful. Our CS sir encouraged me a lot. All courses are available in our college.
Other: Totally, our college is the best compared with other colleges.

It is the best college with good memories.
Placements: 65% of students got placed in many companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Mercedes, Net Cracker etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus and in the hostel. The library is filled with next-level books and a silent room for studies. The quality of food available in the mess is good. A spacious ground and an indoor games room are available and open during college hours.
Faculty: The teachers are much knowledgeable. The teachers and their teaching quality is good. The courses offered are relevant and helpful. They also teach extra software and subjects so that students can get ready for the future. Exams are moderate.
Other: This course interests me, and I feel passionate about constructing large structures. They teach all information related to large structures and make students good at understanding all structures. I wish to improve the examination conduction pattern. Many fests are conducted here, and every type of event is conducted.

I am absolutely satisfied because of teachers, good placements and really good infrastructure.
Placements: I am a student of the SDMCET college, and it is one of the best among Karnataka engineering colleges. Almost 70% of the students get placed in companies from here. About 7% of the students from the civil branch got internships in 3rd year only. ACC Cement company is the top company which hires the maximum number of students every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our college are the best. For the safety of students, our college will provide a monitor lecture to some group of students, and lecturers will daily ask problems of those students. The food served in the mess is vegetarian only, and daily the food and breakfast served are different.
Faculty: Teachers are the best I have seen ever. They all are qualified and experienced. They can handle students very well, and they solve every student problems. They are good at their jobs, and they never skip any class. They will clear doubts of every student without hesitation.
Other: I have chosen this course because I love civil engineering, and I searched on Google. It is the best college for civil engineering course. Events are organised in every month and two months, while the fest is organised every year. The campus crowd is the best, and the best place in our college is the cafe. Students will get scholarships every year, and they are very humble at it.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college.
Placements: There are enough placements for IT students, but there are less placements for non-IT students. Overall, the placements are good. But for mechanical and civil branches, not even a single core company visited to recruit students till now, and it is the same for the chemical branches also. TCS, KPIT, Cummins, Accenture and many more companies are regular recruiters here. In recent years, Walmart is also visiting the campus.
Infrastructure: SDMCET has a very beautiful infrastructure, including a big stadium for a playground. The college library, hostels, hostel food and everything, is mindblowing. The college cafeteria has a very good environment where students enjoy a lot. The college also arranged bus facilities for the local students.
Faculty: There are very good and experienced lecturers for IT branch, who teach students in the right manner. But nowadays, there are no experienced teachers in the civil branch. There are some good lecturers for other branches like mechanical and chemical. The syllabus will be completed on time, but the college syllabus is not much good enough for gaining knowledge.
Other: A technical and cultural festival called Insignia is organised every year, which is full of events like dance competition, singing competition, Fiesta, face-off and many other events are conducted in the respective branches.

SDMCET is the place for all kinds of people.
Placements: Placements in the college are fine. But only 20 to 25 students were placed out of 90 students. The salary packages offered were good. The highest salary package offered was 5.40 LPA, and the lowest package offered was around 3.60 LPA. Companies like ACC Cement, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Hitachi, and TCS recruited our seniors. They were offered roles of junior engineers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in the college are good, and the library is also good with a lot of books. The college will provide special medical facilities for the students of SDMCET in SDM medical college and SDM dental college as well. The college also conducts good inter-college sports competition and also sends a team from our college to represent our college in VTU sports meet. The canteen facilities are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are good, and they are not arrogant. They are student friendly. The course curriculum is the same as of VTU colleges. Our college is autonomous only for exam purposes. The course curriculum is very good and easy. Even the civil department has one of the easiest the course curriculums as we have very less number of classes held in a week compared to all other branches. Students of the civil department also have a lot of free time for extracurricular activities and all other purposes.
Other: Our college also organises a techno fest named Insignia which is awesome, and college spends a lot for it.
