B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
2.8

Not at all value for money.
Placements: Placement opportunities aren't good enough, not even half of the students in the batch are placed, and those who are placed are hired by a mass recruiter. The average package is 3 LPA, and mostly students are placed on that package. These states are just for attracting newbies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, and the hostel rooms are good in comparison to other colleges. The labs are also good, but the system that students use is outdated. The mess food in the hostel is average but edible. The campus has grounds for various sports, which is the only thing I love in this college, you have separate football and cricket grounds, which you can access whenever you want.
Faculty: Faculty is decent, there are a few good professors, and they genuinely want to help students, but other faculty seem like they are here just to save their jobs and to make the management happy by serving them as the management of this college wants them to do.

College is good for topper students.
Placements: Approximately 70 to 80% of students are placed in a particular batch on an average package of 3 to 5 LPA. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Around 10% students secured internships through the college, but there are no good internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well ventilated, and equipped with projectors/whiteboards. The library is also good and well mentioned, and only old books are available for students. Computer labs are good, they have all out date setup and software as well as hardware.
Faculty: Teachers are not only good, highly qualified, and well educated, but they also have a very good teaching personality. The best way for them and their being with them is another teaching way, as much as possible for students to understand and learn more about what they have learned.
Other: No such.

Dissatisfied with the placement.
Placements: Not many companies are coming these days, but the training and placement department is very active and tries its best to get students placed. They provide guidance and offer ways to get a job. They reach out to many companies to get them onto the campus for the placement. Still, many students are left unplaced or get placements through off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is lush green, with many trees and plants throughout the campus; you will be surrounded by many types of flowers. Also, they have improved their canteen from before and now have air-conditioned classrooms, but they are still teaching with chalk and a greenboard. Hostels are also getting renewed; some work is going on inside.
Faculty: Teachers are good because they help and support you in many different ways. If you have a good bond with them, you will definitely get a few good recommendations. The course is, according to AKTU, mostly outdated, especially in the case of Computer Science.
Other: Phones are not allowed, and you have to pay 25000 rupees as a fine if you get caught with one. They have only one event, which is ZEST, in November. That period is the only phase of the year that happens and makes memories.

The college has good infrastructure, but the faculty has less knowledge about the subject.
Placements: Around 70% - 80% of our previous batch got placed, but mostly off campus. Packages range from 3 LPA (the lowest) to 12 LPA (the highest) with an average of 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters on the campus were Co-Forage. Many students secure internships in IT firms as developers, analysts, and intern engineers.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, labs (some of the computers do not work), and a library. Hostels are clean with Wi-Fi, decent mess food, canteen options, medical care, and sports facilities that are good both indoors and outdoors, ensuring overall student well-being.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but are given subjects out of their domain; yet, they are supportive. The curriculum is updated with industry needs, with projects and labs. Exams are moderate, testing understanding; with regular studies, most students clear easily.

Overall, it is a good college with good faculty members.
Placements: Placement is nice if students really work for it, but the college also provides various courses that are good. The average package was 3 LPA, and most were placed. They also provide internships that are really beneficial and can help in the growth of the student. Hence, overall, the impression of placement is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, old, but regularly maintained. The greenery is very pretty and mesmerizing. Classes are well equipped with AC and projectors, and labs are fully air-conditioned, with cleanliness maintained. Various facilities are available for sports, such as a huge football and cricket ground, along with volleyball, basketball, and squash courts.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very talented and highly educated, and are kind enough to solve queries or provide external guidance. However, study pressure is high due to heavy study loads, but exams are conducted according to the syllabus and at a good level. Overall, the study is good.

Decent placements, good infrastructure, supportive faculty, but needs industry exposure.
Placements: SRMS CET Bareilly offers decent placement for core and IT branches, with around 70%-80% students placed. The highest package touches 12 LPA (off-campus), and the average remains around 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Byju's recruit here. About 60% of students get internships in firms like TCS iON, Internshala-listed startups, etc. Major roles include software developer, QA tester, and business analyst. The college supports placement training, but core branch placements can be improved. Overall, it's a good private institute in the region.
Infrastructure: SRMS CET Bareilly provides good infrastructure for academics, with SMART classrooms, well-equipped labs, campus-wide Wi-Fi, a rich library, and departmental workshops. Hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are clean with regular maintenance. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks. Medical support is available 24/7 with an on-campus hospital. The campus also has grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games, promoting a balanced student life with academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty at SRMS CET Bareilly is generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is decent, with a focus on concept clarity and basics. The curriculum is moderately aligned with industry needs but lacks exposure to the latest tools and technologies. Self-learning and internships help bridge the gap. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, regular attendance and study ensure good results. The pass percentage is around 85%-90%, making it manageable for sincere students.
Other: I chose this course due to personal interest and strong career scope. The best parts are the practical labs, project-based learning, and supportive faculty. However, industry exposure and advanced tools should be improved. The campus hosts annual fests like Zest and Aamod with good participation. The crowd is friendly and diverse. Connectivity is decent via road and rail. Surroundings are peaceful, with on-campus scholarships, and ample extracurricular activities in sports, cultural clubs, and technical events keeping campus life active.
