Siliguri College is one of the best colleges in Siliguri/North Bengal.
Placements: In the course of B.A. English, approximately 60% students in my course got placed. The highest package was offered in my course. Approximately 80% students got internships from my course in many companies. Top roles are branch manager, HR, and english teacher in school. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and classrooms are very clean with comfortable benches. The library is full of many books. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is very good. The canteen is very clean and neat. Medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and trained. They are intelligent and have sharp minds. That course prepares the students. The semester exams are not difficult if you attend all the lectures, and then the exams will be easy for you. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the course because I love English, that’s why. If your marks are approximately 60%, then you get the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Overall, good environment but teachers are negligent.
Placements: No placement was offered, and no companies visited the English department. I don't think any companies would visit to offer placements to students because of college's poor infrastructure. Even if any companies did visit, they would offer very low packages, which I would say poor packages.
Infrastructure: There is availability of Wi-Fi only in canteen and computer lab. Classrooms are average (a little dirty though). There is a library in the college where students can find any material related to the study of their subject. The food quality is average, sometimes they cook well and sometimes bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and understanding while some are not at all. Teachers are knowledgeable. My only complaint is that some teachers teach only in Bengali and not in Hindi or English, which is very difficult to understand for non-Bengali community. Course curriculum is relevant but doesn't make students industry-ready. Teachers have basic knowledge of the subject matters, thanks to the introduction of NEP. I don't know the pass percentage, I think it is around 70%. Semester exams are easy and can be passed with regular study.
Other: I chose this course so that I can apply for B.Ed program to become a teacher. The best thing about our course is that I get to meet people of different ethnicities and interact with them as this college is a multiregional college. Teachers would be more interactive with students. College organizes grand freshers and social events every year, which is probably the best in Siliguri. Students gather together to celebrate the event and artists are invited to perform live in our college. College is very crowded during the events. Students can participate in different extracurricular activities, which include cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton. College gives opportunities to everyone to participate in it.

It was a good experience with affordable prices and good infrastructure.
Placements: There were no placements at my college, so no companies were coming at that time. No roles were offered at that time, but the experience was good. There were no internship facilities at our college, but now they provide some basic facilities apart from placement.
Infrastructure: There were good infrastructure facilities, like Wi-Fi, labs, and grounds. There was a separate room for festivals and other programs. The quality of the hostel was good, with great food and space. There were proper medical facilities and games provided to the students.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and useful. They made our learning very easy and fruitful. The curriculum was relevant. No, basically, it does not make us industry-ready but was helpful. It was at a satisfactory level, and the pass percentage was 90%.
Other: It was very affordable, and there were sports games every year.

I am satisfied with the course, campus, curriculum, and teachers. It is a top college in Siliguri.
Placements: Many students are placed in our course. This is graduation college so there are no placements offered. Only a degree certificate is provided. Everyone should take admission to this college.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi in our college hostel. Labs are neat and clean. Classrooms are huge enough. The library is huge and has a variety of books. Our college has a boys and girls hostel and a huge playground. There are many departments in our college.
Faculty: Our course has 6 semesters. The course curriculum is relevant and our college is famous in Siliguri. Exam pattern is not much difficult. The pass percentage is a minimum of 30%. If you do not pass in any semester, then you have to write a previous semester with the current semester.

The college charges a low fee, but there are no placements.
Placements: Many courses are offered in this college, and you can study here with a low amount of fee. This college is affiliated with North Bengal University. There is no placement option in this college, but many extracurricular works used to happen.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average. Other college hostels are also available, but they are only for teachers. There is a lab for every department, and classroom condition is normal. There is a big library, and sports facilities are good at this college.
Faculty: There are many faculty members in this college. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. I would rate the course as 3 out of 5 as it makes students ready for industries.
Other: I have chosen BCA here as it is a good college if you want to study at a low fee.

Siliguri College is environment-friendly, and teachers, including seniors, are really helpful.
Placements: Students placed in my course are around 30%. The highest package offered in the course is Rs. 3,500, and the lowest is Rs. 2,200. Companies like Tata Consultancy, Deloitte, Seek, Greenply, IKEA, The Karighars, and the pharma industry visit the campus. Around 50% of students have get internships. The course offers a bachelor's degree.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-maintained facilities such as clean classrooms, a library with all necessary study materials, a hygienic canteen, spacious labs, and a big ground for extracurricular activities. Overall, the experience is excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, professional, qualified, and knowledgeable, treating every student with equal opportunity. The course I joined offers assurance regarding placements. Exams are okay, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I can do teacher training. I wish I had taken Commerce for business. Our college provides events, fests, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.
