Really good college with good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college is one of the best polytechnic colleges in West Bengal. Each year, during placement seasons, our college witnesses quality placements received by our students. The highest package received this year was around 3.5 LPA, and the average packages were nearly 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our course were TATA, INDIAN OIL, L&T, etc. Most of the students got their internships this year—nearly 80%.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was very good. It has separate labs and workshops for different subjects equipped with modern technologies. Classrooms and other premises were very clean, and libraries were full of knowledgeable and valuable books. Other facilities, like a canteen and sports equipment, were available. Emergency medical facilities were available to handle any situation. The canteen food was good in taste and a variety of items were present.
Faculty: Our teachers were very good. They were highly educated and knowledgeable. They were well-experienced and qualified. Their teaching process was very good and easy to understand. Our course curriculum was relevant and our college prepared us for the industry. Semester exams were not so tough; the average passing percentage was about 65%+.

One of the best Polytechnic college of North Bengal .
Placements: Each year our college is getting better in terms of placements, this year almost 70%+ students were placed with an average package of u20b91.8Lakhs per annum. The highest package received this year was around u20b93 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies of our college were TATA, MARUTI SUZUKI, INDIAN OIL CORPORATION, HFCL and others. Internships were mandatory for our students and most of our students got their internships at time.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was very good and well maintained. Classrooms were very clean, other premises were also very tidy as our college promotes cleanliness and hygiene. Our library was full of valuable books and E books. Our canteen food was hygienic and taste good. Emergency medical facilities were available for any difficulties. Annual sports and other cultural events were organised by our college each year.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful and highly qualified. They were very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good and understandable. Practical classes were very helpful for us. Our course curriculum was relevant and it makes our students ready for the industry. Semester exams were not so difficult, passing percentage was nearly 70%.
Other: Scholarships were available for our students. Campus crowd was well connected with each other.

Great government institute.
Placements: Almost 70% students got placed last year with average package of 2 LPA. The highest package provided is 3 LPA. Our top recruiters are Pollycab, Havells, Philips, Surya and many more. College offers 60% students internships every year or give chance to work with college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure considering this is a government institute. Our college provides some awesome facilities like, with connection throughout the campus, clean and tidy labs with well equipments, big playground, big classrooms with projectors and a huge library. We do not have hostels right now.
Faculty: Our college has collected good teaching faculty. All of them are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them are very helpful. They all proved themselves as good educators. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exam's level is moderate with pass percentage of 35.

Our college provides very good teachers and had a good placement record last year.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Nippon India and L&T were top recruiting companies. Around 60% of students got internships in Indian Railways the previous year but electrical students got more internship chances in Indian Railways.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in our college. The condition of the electrical lab is not good, so students have to go to another college for the electrical practical lab. The hostel is not available due to some problems.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching style is very good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students industry-ready after the first year. Semester exams are easy because teachers make students ready for exams. All subjects become easy because of their teaching style. Teachers are not enough for all subjects.

The teachers of Siliguri Polytechnic college are very helpful and charming.
Placements: The percentage of placements is upto 60%. The highest and the lowest package offers is upto 15-25 K. Companies which came to our college are Wabag, Capgemini, L&T and Pave Infrastructure PVT. LTD. etc. Top roles are trainee engineer, technical supporter and developer etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are great labs and workshops. Free Wi-Fi is there but available only for special purposes. Classrooms are well maintained and our college also has digital classrooms, communication hall and auditorium. Library is full of books, you can get all electrical engineering syllabus related books. Our college doesn't have boys hostel but there is a girl's hostel and I don't have much knowledge about this. Canteen food is okay and cheap but not so good. Medical facilities are also available and senior students are very helpful. Indoor and outdoor games are available too.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and charming, they are always ready to help you in your studies. Teachers are well-educated. Teaching quality is very good. In my opinion, Diploma course is good but not so much to make us industry-ready. I suggest after Diploma, you must go for B.Tech for better experience. If you properly complete your syllabus and study well then it's not so hard but without your efforts, it is always be hard to qualify. The passing percentage is 45%. .
Other: I chose this course because it is about knowing electric and the electronic gadgets and they work, how instruments are manufactured, how electricity is produced and how to they transfer the current and much more interesting things. The problem about this college is that our board should improve the quality of labs and workshops. Annual fest, fresher and basant utsav are organized in the college.
