Decent placements and supportive faculty members with good campus life.
Placements: Placements in the computer science branch are decent but can vary from batch to batch. Around 40–50 percent of students in my batch got placed through campus drives, while others secured opportunities off-campus. The highest package offered is about 6 LPA. The lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average is near 3 LPA – 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and some startups visited the campus. Around 20–25 percent of students also received internships in roles like software development, testing, and support. Placements are satisfactory, but consistent preparation beyond campus drives improves the chances.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. It has spacious classrooms and computer labs. It provides access to Wi-Fi in most areas. The library has technical books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are average, but manageable. Along with decent rooms and basic facilities. The food in the mess is hygienic, but the menu can get repetitive. Sports facilities like cricket, football, and indoor games are available for students. Medical facilities are present but could be improve with faster services. The infrastructure is good for academic growth.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of them use practical examples and encourage doubt-solving sessions, which makes the teaching quality satisfactory. The course curriculum is aligned with university guidelines and covers core technical areas, but it requires additional learning to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, students who study consistently can clear them without much trouble. The pass percentage is fairly high, around 80–85 percent, as internal assessments also contribute. The faculty support and curriculum provide a good base, though extra skills and certification are needed for placements.
Other: I chose computer science because of interest in programming and problem-solving. The course provided a solid foundation in core subjects like algorithms, databases, and software development. The best part about the course is the exposure to coding competitions, workshops, and peer learning. However, I feel the curriculum should include more industry-oriented subjects and practical training. The campus has a good environment with annual cultural and technical fests, extracurricular clubs, and sports activities that make college life engaging. Scholarships are available for eligible students. Connectivity to the campus is decent, making it a balanced experience. The campus organizes cultural and technical events.

    Department of technology, CCSU.
Placements: There is a great active placement cell in my college which helps many students to get their dream job and to be successful in life. Approximately 90% of students got their placement in the placement cell and top companies comes to our college. Various types of job opportunities are there.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good and attractive, all the buildings are well-maintained and very attractive. There is Wi-Fi available on the overall campus, and there is a very vast playground. There are various canteens in which food quality is very good and satisfactory.
Faculty: There is a semester system in which exams are held twice a year. The course curriculum is very relevant to the exam, and it prepares students to be industry-ready and helps them in getting their dream job. It is not so hard to pass the exam, you can pass the if you study a little bit.
Other: There are various fests and events held from time to time on my campus. Various events held in college help students to improve their quality and skills. The crowd is very good.

    Engineering of the CCSU students.
Placements: My batch is the 2024 batch of computer science and engineering. It provided a long-term software engineering program and many other computer engineering courses depending on students. The highest package for CS students this year was 22 LPA, and many facilities were provided.
Infrastructure: Hostel life was good. It provided a very good mess which has very healthy food for students, offering a variety of dishes on different days of the week. It also had a library, sports complex, and other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum also have good aspects, providing good knowledge to students. The semester exams were conducted by AKTU, based on their papers, and students gained very good marks by maintaining a high CGPA. All teachers taught well on this campus.
Other: The batch is CSE, and it is a software engineering course.

    My college SCRIET review.
Placements: The highest placement is about 22 to 25 LPA, and the average placement is about 4.2 LPA. About 80% in the B.Tech branch get placed. The recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, HCL, Mahindra, etc. The internship provided to students of selected courses is very limited and not very active; you need to work hard to secure it.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are very better, and all are Ph.D. holders. The campus has 24-hour Wi-Fi. The labs are average, and the classroom capacity for students in the EC branch and one library for B.Tech students. In the hostel, there are double-sharing rooms. The charges for the mess and room are 38,000 per year: 4,000 for hostel fees and 27,000 for mess fees. There is one canteen, and medical support facilities are also available, along with several sports grounds and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and all are Ph.D. holders, fully qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum of the course is very old and needs to be changed because it affects the technical knowledge and industry readiness. The difficulty level of the semester exams is quite average. The semester exams are easy, with a passing percentage of 33% in each subject.
Other: The crowd in campus life is very peaceful. I liked this course when I took admission in it, but the course curriculum is very old and needs to be improved by including technical knowledge and fresh material. The events, fests, and curricular activities are held from time to time, about once or twice a month. Extracurricular activities are also conducted regularly. SCRIET College is on the CCSU University campus.

Good Hostel life, Below average placements, good for making memories, affordable government college.
Placements: The students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. To be honest, not many companies visit our college. Some companies though come such as TCS, Wipro, Ninja, Tech Dost, etc. I don't know the exact offers made but some students get placed from the college. The highest package being 7 Lacs per annum on campus. The average package is 3 Lacs per annum. The students make it off-campus with one student getting a whopping 22 Lacs per annum placement. The placements here are very low and one should go for placement by himself. My plans after getting a degree are to do a Master's.
Infrastructure: The hostel room is a double-sharing room with 2 beds, 2 almirahs, 2 tables and chairs, 2 tubelights with one extra holder, and 2 hangers for each student. The mess food is not excellent but one can eat. Sometimes they cook the worst food in the world but sometimes the quality is good. In the morning you will get dishes like poha, daliya, macaroni, sandwiches, paratha, etc. In the afternoon and night, you will get roti, rice, rajma/kadhi/chole/dal, and a dry vegetable for sure. On Sunday in the afternoon, you will get either paneer or chole bhature but in the night you will get fried rice which are not so good. The university has its own gym where students can go irrespective of their course. It is open in the morning as well as in the evening. The college has its own canteen which is closed for some time but you can go to the university canteen. There are 2 libraries. The SCRIET library remains open till the college remains open. And the main library opens at 8 am and closes at 10 pm. The SCRIET library has various books which you can use in your GATE preparation as well as college exam preparation too. Other than this you can go to the main library of the CCS University to explore from around 53,000 books. The classrooms have the normal blackboard but the labs are equipped with computers and are open every day till the college remains open so I can go and use the computers if they want. Other than this the campus is fully surrounded by Wi-Fi, railway reservation facility is there and a medical dispensary is also there.
Faculty: The number of students in our class is 94 and we get different faculty for different subjects. Currently, we have 6 subjects so we have 6 different teachers. The faculty members are good but the one I liked the most is Arpit Chhabra Sir. He is a great teacher. There is no faculty that you will not like, it's up to you that you want to study or not. The faculty members are all well-educated but sometimes you just don't understand the topics in class so you have to study by yourself. The exams are moderate and one can pass the exams If you have good knowledge of the topic. Even if you write something related to the topic if you don't know the exact answers, you'll get marks. The curriculum is not up to date but it's okay. There are no flaws in the curriculum but some subjects feel like why are we studying them. The curriculum has various languages like Python, Java, C++, and it also teaches you DSA which will help you in the future to secure placement. The difficult level of the exams is moderate and there are 2 sessional and 1 semester exam every semester.
Other: I applied for various colleges like MJPRU, BU, and others but I chose this college as I was getting the IT branch. And the other thing is I wanted to move out of my hometown. The college is good in various aspects such as sports, faculty, and the hostels here are so good. I got rejected from bigger colleges like IET Lucknow, BIET Jhansi as the cutoff was higher. So I came here as I wanted a government college. The admission can be taken through JEE Main ranking or directly if you have contacts. Most preferred exam is JEE Main. The cutoff is not too high and the cutoff for my branch Information Technology last year was around 4 Lacs in the open category. The overall admission experience was smooth and the admission process was completed through physical reporting. There are no annual fests in our college. Only the orientation program is held every year when the new batch comes. Khel Utsav is held in the months of January every year. Garba eve is organized during Navratri. Inter-hostel competitions are done every year. Other than these, there are smaller events like webinars, seminars, etc. There are many sports you can play here. SCRIET has its own cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court, and table tennis facility too. The Khel Utsav held every year organizes such sports. And a sports complex is also there in the University with a 1600-meter track, a football ground, and nets as well. There are many clubs in our college such as the Cultural Committee, Student Conscious Club, SLC club, and Google-developed group on campus as well.

I am Absolutely Dissatisfied Because of Bad Faculty, Placement, but Really Good Infrastructure
Placements: As we are in first year, we don't really know much about the placements, but from what we have heard about the placements, it is very poor, and also the college provides absolutely no internship opportunities. The top recruiting companies for the course are Nvidia and Samsung, but they don't visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. As it was founded by the government, there is a Wi-Fi setup for the entire campus. There are labs, surveil suited with the required equipment, and classrooms are also being up. There is also a library for students to study in. The hostel is okay for the amount of money that was paid, but the mess is very bad, and the food quality is much worse than what was expected.
Faculty: Most teachers are quite qualified, but some teachers are not up to the mark. The curriculum is the same as the AKTU curriculum that is taught in UP engineering colleges. The exam schedule is not fixed; they conduct exams whenever they want, and they won’t tell when. The semester exams are said to be tough, but they don’t seem to be tough.
Other: I chose the course because it is the most industrially attractive course in the country.
