A journey through social connection .
Placements: Typically, the university provides placement reports detailing the percentage of student scores ranging from 70% to 100%. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS are often major recruiters for computer science and engineering courses. More than 30% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: The university provides campus-wide Wi-Fi access so that students can connect anywhere they want. Hostel and canteen quality is good, but food recommendations are average. Labs are in good working condition but sometimes the connection to Wi-Fi is poor and you lose internet.
Faculty: Many students find their staff approachable and the staff are willing to assist outside of the class. The minimum quantity of professors often holds an advanced degree and the staff provides good interaction. Since I don't know about other departments staff, CSE staff are very nice.
Other: Since I am computer science and engineering student, nowadays technology is high, which is why I chose this course. Campus provide good surrounding, fests, etc.

A good option for good academic life but placement opportunities offered are very less.
Placements: From my batch almost 20% of students were placed. Only few top companies visited the campus such as UST Global, Sutherland. Most of the roles offered were from IT sector itself. The highest package offered was around 4 LPA and the lowest package offered was around 1.5 LPA. No internships are provided from the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are good. Infrastructure is also quite appreciable with all basic facilities provided. Classrooms, labs, library and all are well-equipped. Quality of hostel food is also not bad. Sports & games, cultural activities are less conducted.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-experienced and highly qualified. All staffs have a good knowledge regarding their respective subjects. All classes are taken based on the syllabus given from the university.
2 internal exams are conducted and also modules tests after each modules. Exams are of moderate difficult. Pass % is always above 80%. .
Other: I chose B.Tech because I wanted to take CS as my main stream. Best things about the course is that we can learn about the latest technologies of the world. Things I wish that would be better is that - more cultural & sports events can be added along with academics so that the stress levels of students can be reduced. For our batch we had 2 Techfests - one in 1st year & one in 4th year. Also 2 Arts Day- one in 2nd year & one in 4th year.

I don't recommend this college for those who are really interested in learning.
Placements: For our batch the placements were few compared to our seniors. Very few students got placed this year (30%). The highest offered salary was 50,000 and the lowest offered was 6,000. The companies that visited our college include Byjus app, Supportsages, Infocom, ASAP and Studyspring. The roles offered were of sales associate, BPO rolesand junior developer role. The students were asked to complete internship by their own during semester breaks. Yes there is a placement cell but of very little use. They do provide aptitude training and interview tips but the companies that came to our college is very little.
Infrastructure: The college do provide Wi-Fi but of little use to students since phones are not allowed and Wi-Fi access is restricted to labs and secured with password known only to staff. Labs and classroom is okay. Library is good enough for those who refer texts specified in the syllabus it does't support much of literature. Canteen food is a big no for those who wish to stay in the college hostel. But the hostel is maintained well and is the best for sure. I feel like the canteen should be much more neat and the food that they give us is not good enough.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable of course. But when it comes to assignments, projects etc. They give very less time to complete the given work. The teachers are friendly but I think that the way they give us work needs improvement. Apart from that they are really helpful. As the college does not provide much placement the teachers do work hard to make sure that at least some of us get placed. They do take effort in teaching and helps us when we are in need of extra class or did not understand a topic. They do conduct retests to make sure that those who did not get enough internal marks can cover up through retest.
Other: Tech fest in our college is something that you will remember for ever. This year's tech fest was the best of all. It is improving each year and is good enough. Some of my friends did get scholarship but personally I don't think they do provide it enough. I didn't not get a scholarship even after getting above 90% in both 10th and 12th and belonging to OBC. So I don't actually think this college is providing scholarship. I did feel cheated in this case. Even after getting merit admission, I had to pay management fees which is not at all a good point.

Other: Classes at SNGIST are interactive with a mix of lectures, case studies and presentations. Internal and external exams get equal weightage. Tests are conducted regularly. No handouts are given to students but most teachers share their presentations. It have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty members.
The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to choose among interdisciplinary subjects. Its huge 550 acres of green campus provides an awesome range of facilities & infrastructure for sports & fitAverage packages are around Rs 12.40 lakhs p.a. and go up to Rs 22 lakhs p.a. Examples of campus recruiters: Amazon, Google, P&G, ITC, Airtel, Flipkart, etc. Faculty members are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly.
